Clear Cover
Unlike the Note7 Clear Cover the S8's has a slight protrusion on the corners so you can place the phone face down without the display touching the surface. With the OEM dry apply screen protector it's the way I carry my phone so it's still stylish but at least somewhat protected.
The Clear Cover is black (I ordered a black phone) but the Standing Cover is silver because MobileFun shipped the wrong color, from the UK nonetheless. They told me to keep it and they're sending me a black one. Seeing the cases side-by-side sure makes the S8+ look big compared to the S7e.

Those are cool i ordered mine from spigen

[Q] Discoloration from leather pouch.

I purchased this leather pouch some time ago and didn't use it for longer periods until a couple of days ago. When I finally turned over the phone at the end of the day I noticed discolorations on the rubbery parts of the back cover and the inside lining of the pouch had creases along the lines on the back cover. Any ideas on how to get rid of the discoloration?
I've contacted INNOV8 GB Ltd and they were kind enough to offer a refund or pay for the cost of any cleaning solution. But the damage is done and I'm going to keep the pouch. I've also washed the inside of the pouch with hand soap which got quite a lot of the dye out so I don't think it'll cause more discoloration.
The flashlight makes the marks look fainter than they really are.

are the discolorations ruboffs from the backcover itself? or residues from the case?
Residues from the pouch.

TPU S-Line wave gel case with kick stand

Hey just recently got this case, been using it for about two days, I purchased it from ebay for < $10, and as expected it's basically a TPU gel case except it's got a stand.
It's obviously raised a bit on the back in the middle for the kickstand, and I've gotten used to the bump on the back already, it's nice to use as a desk clock for those who haven't got a Orb charger yet, viewing angles are good and as expected will only work in landscape. The stand does 'feel' a bit cheap but has been holding up well (see what I did there??? ).
Using the phone while the kickstand is out doesn't seem to be a problem, it moves a little if you press too hard, but I've been able to gesture type SMS and while it's sitting on my desk.

Vikuity MySafedisplay screen protector bad fitting

Just received a Mysafedisplay (DQCT130) for S6 and it has , IMO, a problem on screen fitting! Instead of covering all area, it lacks near 3mm around..
Usually vikuity covers almost near matching all surface, I've used them since longe time ago.
I've ordered also a privacy one, I hope it doesn't have this problem too.

You are going to have a hard time (like everyone else here) finding a screen protector that covers the whole front of the phone due to the 2.5D glass that is rounded near the edges of the phone. That is why many of the screen protectors are smaller than the whole front. The round edges makes it hard for the screen protectors to stick down flat which causes the "halo" effect as many have been calling it.
I know it has a small roundness, but still is very far from this part... I'm pretty sure they could manage better!

Toastmade note 7 real wood skin

Toast just released their real wood skins for our note 7's. I had one on my s7 edge and it was the best skin I had. I got the black onyx for my edge but I'm thinking of going with walnut for the note 7.

I wonder how this will play with screen protectors?
What adhesive does it use? Do they remove easily and clean?
It doesn't cover past the edges for the back piece so gpel glass screen protector works fine. They use 3m tape to stick it, it can be difficult to remove as it's a one time only use skin. The real wood is thin so it comes off in pieces, It stays on well tho. They also do custom images and engraving.

GadgetShieldz protector for Moto G4 review

Hi Guys,
I got a GS protector for my Moto G4(non-plus). I am using a tempered glass for the screen. I bought GS's protector for the body. The application was not that bad, considering you have done the same in the past. The sides, camera lens's protector is great but the back cover's protector is horrible. I mean lots of moisture and stuff in there and no matter what you do it will keep on coming off the sides of the back cover. Here are few photos-

Overall- Horrible for back cover, good for the rest.
I feel like that it wasn't wet enough to stick. For the edges you need to use you thumb once after wiping the solution. Using the cloth would be also a good idea but thumb or palm would exert the pressure as well as the heat it need to stick.
