Just received a Mysafedisplay (DQCT130) for S6 and it has , IMO, a problem on screen fitting! Instead of covering all area, it lacks near 3mm around..
Usually vikuity covers almost near matching all surface, I've used them since longe time ago.
I've ordered also a privacy one, I hope it doesn't have this problem too.

You are going to have a hard time (like everyone else here) finding a screen protector that covers the whole front of the phone due to the 2.5D glass that is rounded near the edges of the phone. That is why many of the screen protectors are smaller than the whole front. The round edges makes it hard for the screen protectors to stick down flat which causes the "halo" effect as many have been calling it.
I know it has a small roundness, but still is very far from this part... I'm pretty sure they could manage better!

I don't really have a warranty so replacing it is not an option, I didn't drop it or anything it just started to happen, any solutions would be great.
It does look like damage to me but I'm no expert in LCD technology so take that with a pinch of salt

It is probably a damage to the digitizer assembly caused by pressure... The touch screen is glued directly to the LCD made of fragile thin plates if there's a shock or too much pressure by twisting, squeezing (in your pocket?) or tappin hard it may cause that purple color if it came unglued at this precise spot, since purple is the native color of an inactive LCD
Sadly
But good news is that the whole assembly LCD can be found around 100$ and it's one of the easiest phone to work on!
Hay guys
Is a screen protector actually able to prevent a screen from shattering when the phone is dropped?
thanks

It depends. Tempered glass protection is definitely superior, and will break before your screen. However, nothing is 100% fool proof. I recommend tempered glass over plastic.
It also depends on the height if you drop it. I dropped mine and it shattered all over the place. Only good thing right when it happend was that screen was still working and the plastic cover kept the glass pieces in place. But as Evolution_Tech said, tempered glass is the thing.
This is how mine looked after a drop with screenprotector on (Not tempered)

Finally after barely tapping my S2 watch near a work top and getting a hairline scratch, realise Spigen do a protector now for the S2. Had one on my Gear 2 which was superb so easy to install and discrete.
This one is the same, clean the screen whack it on let it settle a day or so, then a perfect finish all bubbles gone.
You need to align it right and the added lugs this time to avoid touching to sticky side and also chamfered the edges.
Only minor criticism is swipes are not smooth, maybe with time will improve.

Forgot to say i bought mins from Spigen Uk on eBay, was around £7.
Hi Guys,
I got a GS protector for my Moto G4(non-plus). I am using a tempered glass for the screen. I bought GS's protector for the body. The application was not that bad, considering you have done the same in the past. The sides, camera lens's protector is great but the back cover's protector is horrible. I mean lots of moisture and stuff in there and no matter what you do it will keep on coming off the sides of the back cover. Here are few photos-

Overall- Horrible for back cover, good for the rest.
I feel like that it wasn't wet enough to stick. For the edges you need to use you thumb once after wiping the solution. Using the cloth would be also a good idea but thumb or palm would exert the pressure as well as the heat it need to stick.
The Clear View Standing Cover and the Clear Cover. Now all I need is the phone.
S8+ on the left, S7e on the right.

Clear Cover
Unlike the Note7 Clear Cover the S8's has a slight protrusion on the corners so you can place the phone face down without the display touching the surface. With the OEM dry apply screen protector it's the way I carry my phone so it's still stylish but at least somewhat protected.
The Clear Cover is black (I ordered a black phone) but the Standing Cover is silver because MobileFun shipped the wrong color, from the UK nonetheless. They told me to keep it and they're sending me a black one. Seeing the cases side-by-side sure makes the S8+ look big compared to the S7e.
Those are cool i ordered mine from spigen
