Are you completely stock? Where did you get your phone? Did you happen to buy it used from a reseller or private party? Did your phone recently take an update?

Hello everybody, this is my first thread.
I bought in minideal the A850i a week ago. Since the first day the phone is rebooting without warning.
Sometimes it is rebooting NON Stop for more than an hour [till the battery is empty]
I wrote to minideal and they send me the official ROM and flash tool [Lenovo-A850I_140208_Lang_CN(1)]
I flashed with success BUT the phone is still rebooting! I cant use for more than 5 minutes sometimes.
Can you please help?
I may send the phone back to HK but this costs something like 43 euro!
Thanks in advace

Thanks a lot. This is what I am going to do.
So I was using my phone playing a game when it all of a sudden said phone was at 0% and then shut down. It was at 30% just about 2 minutes before. I have been looking online to see what the issue and I just get more confused, mainly because my phone is all stock, its not rooted or unlocked. Can someone please help me because I am totally dumbfounded.
Thanks.

Hey there!
If this problem happens again, then its definitely an issue with the battery and i will recommend you to change it.
If not, then it was probably just a coincidence.
So I got my OPO awhile ago in October 2014 it unfortunately stopped working in December 2014. I've tried to email the customer service, but they seem like they don't want to help. My One Plus is not rooted or anything, it also doesn't have USB debugging enabled. What is happening with my phone is that it doesn't go past the spinning animation at the start up i left it on one night, all night and it didn't turn. I ended up buying a nexus 5, but i surely do miss my OPO please help!!

Oh yes I tried factory resetting it, it didn't work, and I am able to go into fast boot mode if that makes a difference.
What's exactly the issue? Bootloops?

Go to my guide thread here:

Follow the instructions in Section 8. If you don't have an unlocked bootloader you'll need to follow the instructions in Section 1 first.
Hi guys, I got my G920i from an ebay seller that everyone here has been talking about. The phone was in great condition and everything was fine with the phone for the first 24 hours. Ever since then , my phone has been constantly rebooting after a few hours on it's own. I have not installed any apps that I normally don't have on my other android device , the oneplus one. The G920I is not rooted or anything. The only app I can think of , that is different this time from the OPO , is the samsung push service update. I checked around and could not see anyone else who had recvd the Push service update and was facing the same issue.
Please help!
same
I have the same issue. I also bought the international version off of eBay. I didn't notice anything for about two days, but have now had the phone restart on me three times. All three times I was not actively using the phone and the screen was off.
One thing that I tried was to reinstall the Samsung push service update. That worked for 3 days as I didn't see any more reboots. And just 15 mins ago it happened again while the phone was in my pocket. Hope this gets fixed soon.
It has happened to me twice. I just disabled the auto update feature for my apps to see if that actually works. Will let you know if it worked after a couple of days.
I've had the phone since last tuesday and didnt notice any random reboots until this app updated and now i have 3-5 a day

Can you check this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/nearby-wifi-portal-causes-constant-t3086743
Maybe it's the same issue and we can narrow down the problem.

Im only around open networks at work and it does the soft reboots around my house which is secured
My random reboots started shortly after the Samsung Push Services app was updated. I force stopped it, disabled it and uninstalled the update and I haven't had a reboot in a while.
My phone was rebooting several times every day before that.
Edit: The random reboots are back. This is very frustrating.
reflash the firmware fix the problem for me. No reboot since 24 hours. 5 to 6 reboots per day before. Hope it will continue.
I also have the same issue. It has happened 2 times for me, today and yesterday. I had the phone in my hand and suddenly I see the Samsung logo. Within 5 minutes it reboots 2-3 times. This sucks =(
I have the same problem, it only happens to me when I open Play Store or when I update something.
Edit: I have the F model.
I have had my 920i for almost a week, and I haven't had any random reboot at all. Everything works as supposed to.

I bought my 920i from Breed on Ebay. Everything has been great for the most part, but I do experience a random reboot at least once every few days. It just happened to me while sitting on my desk.
I am rooted, but I don't have any crazy customizations and I applied stock recovery after root. Only one app is frozen and it's that Samsung Security Agent process that was draining my battery. I also have it connected to a Gear S, but I'm pretty sure that's not the issue.
I wiped it twice yesterday and then set it up. It's definitely not a ROM/cache issue. I'll be interested to see if anyone figures out what this is. It could just be a bug that we'll have to deal with until the next update. Fortunately, the phone restarts super fast.
I also believe this is a software issue. I am not rooted and don't see myself doing that any time soon.
Which network are you using on your 920i? I am on AT&T network

AT&T here, also.
I'm using the G920F with an european carrier, so I think that is a global problem.
It happened to me twice today. That's a first. The only thing that's different is that I have a Gear S connected full time.
Didn't Android 5.01 cause the phone to reboot after some time due to running out of available memory?

Hi Guys /girls.
Just got an S7, brand new on O2 (UK). I usually root my phones but haven't touched this as it's quick enough and I don't want to play around with it until the warranty ends.
In the past few days the phone has been freezing, then it will turn off, sometimes restarting entering a bootloop. It will come back on for a minute or two, then repeats.
At the moment it is working following a forced restart but not sure if this will last. Has anyone else had these issues? Or does anyone know what it could be? Going to get it swapped anyway just to make sure but I can't understand the cause. Thanks in advance
Had the same issue this moth, send it to warranty it will only be worse over the days. Samsung replaced my mbo and now everything is ok
Getting worse.... Trying to get it sorted with O2 is an absolute joke, their customer service is disgusting. Been into two stores and on the phone to them twice and they're not simply swapping it for me.... I haven't even had the device three weeks

Are you using anything the same as with the last one, like a MicroSD card or headphones etc?
Anything that is common between the two phones?
Same app that might be doing it? Maybe a restore from a Google backup when you first boot up reinstalling a buggy app?
Did you upgrade firmware to the latest version? It might be a software bug.
Seems fine now cheers guys. Auto frmware updates (x2) were done last night....must have been a one off. Definitely won't be rooting this device like my older phones!
