A while back we purchased a Android smart phone for my Father who is not very good with tech.
In order to download apps from the Playstore he created a new google account and he did not write it down anywhere, everything was working fine until the phone got into a rebooting loop and I have to reset the phone to factory settings.
Now the phone loads ok, but it's asking me to enter the google account it was using before the reset! and I don't have it. I don't know the password or the account name or email address what ever you want to call it, and the phone is not letting me to the next step of set up without this.
I tried entering the mobile number but that is taking me to his actual gmail account not the one he created to use the Googleplay store.
Please help!!

Which phone??
That's FRP, you need to bypass it.
Google '' how to bypass frp of <Device name >'' You'll find some methods/tuts on that.

Try this - [video tut]
That is what I did to Factory reset my phone but during the phone setup it asks me for the google account which was used before the factory reset
after the factory reset the phone asks you to select a language, connect to wifi, then asks me for the old google account used "which my father doesn't know"

apparantly i locked my TB with a pin code and woke up this morning and now i cant get into it at all. after 60 tries i thought it would ask me to enter my google account email and pw which i have but it hasnt. anyway to get past this??
Well that really sucks forgetting your pin code, but if it were easily worked around, it wouldn't be much of a security system, so it's not easy.
This Google help forum thread might help you out: http://www.google.com.tw/support/forum/p/android/thread?tid=1889ba0fa1e29183&hl=en
If you're rooted, with adb access you might be able to clear something in the system to reset it, but I'm not sure where to start with that if it's even an option.
Factory reset will certainly get you back into the phone, and shouldn't wipe your sdcard data, but I'd pull it out before resetting just to be safe.
thanks i appreciate it. i just cant believe after 75 tries it doesnt tell you to enter your gmail account info to get into the phone. i thought all androids did that

yeah. both my OG Droid and Fascinate made me type my Google credentials after a certain number of failed tries. Call VZW and see if there is a workaround. Keep us posted!
If you are rooted and using ClockWorkMod, u could restore a backup, that uses no pin or an old pin.
If you do have CWM and a earlier backup, I would perform a backup and then restore the earlier backup.
if you can do that and get into the OS again, you might be able to Run Advanced Restore in CWM and just restore the Data Partition from the backup of the pin locked one. (this is just a guess, Im not sure where the pin is saved but this may be the best way to not loose data)
Stupid move from myself resulted in not being able to access my 2 hour brand new Galaxy S7. Resetted the google password and then it was over. What can I do about this and what is the procedure to solve it normally?

If I understand your situation correctly, you can delete your google account from phone and then add a new google account using your new password.
Hi all !
My dad never use is mobile phone (xperia XZ), but he need to move with this work at the end of the month.
First : He forgot the patern of the lockscreen.
So I see that if we try 30 times, the phone will be erase.
As he don't have any important data on the phone, I try to reset like this.
Second issue ^^ the phone ask me a google account, I ask to my dad if he already has a account, he tell me not, if he already have install some apps? he tell me yes (so he has an account but don't know the adress or password or anything :good: )
So I think that I just need to create an account and that good.. but the phone ask me the google account that already has been synchronize with the phone...
Any solution to totally reset?
Any possiblity to unlock the bootloader and do a wipe all ?
Thanks in advance !
Do a total wipe with Xperia Companion or Flashtool.

I think after Flashtool wipe, you'll still need to enter the Google account used previously.

No, there's no google account needed if you flash the entire system.
Sony companion repair should work. But then, you have to install all apps again.
Thanks for your answer !
Sony companion doesn't work, it ask me the google account too
I will come back at my parent's house cause I couldn't test flash tool (My parent don't have computer and I have a macbook, so i need to install windows by bootcamp)
I read that flashtool need to be root or to have USB debug enabled. But I don't have acces to the smartphone menu... does this will cause some issue ?
