Ok i made a very STUPID mistake ,need some help - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm running RR sultanized 6.0.1
So since CMTE is dead I deleted Theme chooser ,theme manager and one more app which had theme in it using system app remover and went on to install substratum .But now I realized that substratum requires theme Interfacer which isn't in this ROM .The theme which I want to apply has two options OMS and plain 6.0 ,I tried both it didn't work
My question is is there any way I can get back the theme chooser and other stuff or is there any way I can get substratum to work on this ROM?
PS I know that reflashing the ROM will restore it but that will erase my root and lots of stuff I mean seriously lots of stuff as I've removed the system root and installed magisk ,added bunch of magisk modules ,installed xposed and many modules and putting everything back will waste a lot of time
Also the substratum theme I have was paid and cost about 2$
Plx help
Ty
ROM:Resurrection remix Sultanized by RomiL Parh (Support of this ROM is over as thread is locked )

Well, reflashing should work..But if you want to keep the stuff you have..Can't you just dirty flash?
And also the themes which you have purchased will obviously stay with you for the whole time(unless some special condition)..You can download the theme from play store anytime you want without paying again.
The only things that dirty flashing will restore are the things which the ROM already has...So maybe magisk won't go away but su root will come back.
Tell me if I've helped you.

Welllllll
If you know how to Unpack rom, Unpack it and copy the file you want to system I mean the apps you deleted it
And everything should works find same as before

Yes,you could do that too..But judging by the fact that he does not want to waste time(or is just being lazy)
It would take a lot of time to actually find the apps he deleted...But if he thinks that's better then,it's solved.

Nooo I'm sorry
If my laptop ok now it's my pleasure to help you but I can't I'm sorrrrryyyy

If you simply dirty-flash, you won't lose any magisk, xposed modules or others apps. You will have to reflash only magisk and xposed frameworks after just reflash your rom without wiping anything.

1) for some people for no known reason
2) yes, app settings
3) Same as any other app restore. Who cares, do what you want
4) Didn't know it did. "fix permissions" is not a good thing to do. Avoid it at all costs
5) Read the xposed thread. they are not injected (thats the whole point)

I will surely read it.. thanks for getting back!:good:
btw fixing permissions is bad... i did it quite often!
and at times it does help me when i have fcs!
Btw when i restored the entire xposed thing after i recently flashed slim (after coming from stock) some changes offered by gravity box didnt work well i probably think it may be some compatibility issues!

Xposed runs on top, not changing code. Gravity box only supports pure AOSP. The code Gravity box changes is not the same if not AOSP so some things work, some do not.
Dont fix permissions. Recovery doesnt know what permissions should be so it guesses. Bad

BS_FREE_Lollipop_5.0_Rom_BPB1_Based

This is a modified version of @jrkruse stock BPB1 deodexed ROM with all(or most) of the stock BS removed.
INSTRUCTIONS:
I've included the links needed if you want to use xposed. If you chose not to use Xposed, then skip that step in the flashing process.
I have only used Safestrap to install this ROM, but FlashFire should work as well.
1) Flash NO_BS_BPB1_ROM_DEODEXED.zip
2) Flash Extra_toggles.zip
3) Flash xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon.zip
4) Flash Lollipop_Safestrap_Reboot_Extended_PM_PB1.zip
5) Flash BPB1_Firmware_No_Bootloaders.zip
6) After first boot, open Lollipop Recovery Control and install the latest Safestrap.
7) Open up Viper4Android and install the driver. Then install Viper Fix 1.1.apk and run the Viper fix in the app.
There is no need to flash any Viper zips with this ROM. This ROM has all the same apps as BOK3 V5, but obviously updated to the BPB1 apps. The only app added is multiwindow. I don't use multiwindow, so I can be certain that all aspects of it work, but everything seemed to work normally when I played with it.
Note: Don't pay attention to the 1- prefix in front of some of the ROM versions. I prefix all my flashables in my ROM folder with a 1-, 2-, 3-, ect, so that I have them all in order when I flash them instead of having to remember the order every time lol. I forgot to remove those prefixes when I uploaded the ROMs.

Edit:
It works! But now I have 492 errors anytime I want to download something from google play? Anyone else with this issue?

Does anyone know what exactly is new/improved in this BPB1? I feel like these versions keep getting released, but I have no idea what is actually improved LOL.
Thanks! Seems to be working well. Google Calendar kept force closing, so I removed it and installed the Play Store version.
Some apps seen to have a touch recognition problem, like titanium backup. Haven't had any FC errors.

I don't have any of these problems on mine. Does anybody else? It sounds like you guys might have some bad data from a previous ROM. The Play Store was updated in this ROM, so clear data for the Play Store, and that might fix the problem.

Few Questions
First, since I'm pretty new to flashing ROMs with SafeStrap...
At each step of your process when you say "Flash" does that mean Safestrap-> Boot to Recovery ->Install Zip ???
I'm looking at needing Xposed in order to bypass my company's Exchange security requirement of encrypting my device in order to allow email access.
I got a little confused with all the Xposed documentation out there.
Does this set of instructions get me to where I can load the Xposed module to bypass that security and then continue from there?
Big Thanks for your help.
I'm going to start a backup of current ROM so I'll be ready to install this soon.
Regards,
NerdyKowboy

Yes, flash means install in Safestrap.
If you flash the Xposed zip I linked in the original post, then you can use modules in the Xposed installer app included in the ROM.

1.) In safestrap, just do wipe->factory reset or is more of a wipe required?
2.) Can I flash them all using the Zip Queue in Safestrap (TWRP 2.7.1.0) or should I do them one at a time?
Factory reset in factory recovery. You can install all of them on one queue.

I did that, and this is AWESOME. Love the ROM. Tough to decide between the two launchers. Haven't had this level of control in a while.
Only snag was that Android Pay doesn't recognize the device as Android authentic, so can't use Android Pay (which I almost never used anyway).
Thanks for all the work @CVertigo1

I believe Android Pay doesn't work sheerly because the device is rooted, not because of the ROM itself.
Can't get snapchat to login with Xposed. I've read the solution is to do an Xposed framework uninstall, login to Snap, then reinstall Xposed, but have found a lot of people get hung in a bootloop when uninstalling.
Is this from using the wrong uninstaller or something else?
Which uninstaller is correct?
Do you have another solution?
I have tried removing the modules and doing a reboot to see if that'd be adequate.
EDIT:
The issue was the xposed framework.
To anyone else doing this on Galaxy S5 with this ROM (or same version of Xposed)
1.) uninstall Snapchat
2.) Deactivate modules from Xposed
3.) Download and Flash "xposed-uninstaller-arter97.zip" from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463
4.) Reboot and wait for all the apps to Optimize
5.) Reinstall snapchat and login
6.) Flash the same Xposed framework in original post of this thread (apps will re-optimize)

Since Xposed is already in the ROM, inside of Xposed, go to Downloads & download the module "NoSafeVolumeWarning". Enable it and reboot.
Boom. No more volume warning.

Successfully uninstalled Xposed, Reinstalled SnapChat and logged in without issue. Then, reflashed the Xposed framework.

Why should i root/flash rom on my already OnePlus 6?

Hey folks,
Firstly my question is not from noob point of view but right now I'm sensing there is no great reason to flash custom rom or root. Am i wrong?
I know that we can get ad blocking benefits. But except that can you guys tell your reasons for going beyond the comfort of living with op6 with:
stock os
Good enough & Needed options
Updates via otas and
a complete all feature working rom.
Use block this app to block ads, this is the first phone in 9 years I have had no reason to root. Just enjoy it ?
AdAway
Firewall to restrict curious/annoying apps
Full backup via TiBackup
Automization with Tasker on Screenlock
Backup of App Data to NAS
Access to Logcat
And it's easy to keep on OTA... Apply OTA, before rebooting reinstall Magisk, reboot
So why not?
AdBlock via VPN does not help me as I use VPN permanently already and only one VPN is supported.

The custom roms have added back a few things OP took out like always on display and better do not disturb settings.
Root and custom roms don't break OTA updates. I rooted on day 1 and I've successfully taken every OTA.
Custom kernels also add a few things that matter to some people, like Wireguard VPN integration.
For me i need root because of themes, diffrent emoji's, adblocker, doze for google play services, diffrent font and for a custom kernel so i get the most out of my device and get it to my liking.
Titanium backup.. Some good modules in Magisk,... Custom kernels.. Some reasons to root

If you root and use a custom rom then you can make a backup and I notice a MASSIVE speed increase, I've put xxNoLimitxx on my op6 and its just not compareble to stock...soooooo faast!!
Also I haven't come across any bugs at all yet!! Also you have Viper4Android and can increase the sound dramatically which helps big time. I find it in stock alittle soft.
Trust me you'll be so flabbergasted with the speed its crazy when the op6 is rooted. I had a op5 before this for a year and didn't notice such a increase in speed. Aps are sooo quick its nutz.
Anyways tootally up to you but if you do your homework you'll be fine, For me it went super quick rooting and chucking the custom rom on, was already done in 30min after all my shizzle was move over from my op5.
Anyways goodluck with deciding whatch gonna do.
oem android os must be root that you can turn on/off in developers settings !!
Root rights is extremely important feature on my phone and I do not even need a new phone that does not have it.
For now I have to use third party mod to be able to get right rights.
Shame on Google and Oneplus for it !!
I haven't needed to put a Custom ROM on my OP5 or again with my OP6 but I have to have root and recovery. EX Kernel is a must with Blocking Wakelocks, Titanium Backup for backups and freezing apps I don't want, Magisk Modules like YouTube Vanced, AOD, eventually Google Camera, Changing system sounds, adding more fonts, and for Nova Launcher Prime to be fully working needs root for things like double tap to sleep gestures and pull down notification from anywhere on screen.
I may not really need a custom ROM these days but I want the option, but I will never buy a phone I can't get ROOT and TWRP on.

Ha ha, amen brotha! Root is a way of life!
In my honest opinion if you need to ask users to give yourself reasons why you should root then you maybe shouldn't *I don't mean to sound sarcastic or a ***** but in this case anyway a few pointers to root would be modules with magisk for many things stock cant provide, titanium or root explorer etc for backups freezing apps and getting access to system files if need be, custom roms *as many have great mods added that stock cant do for example Reno rom has many features unique that stock and other roms can't provide*, kernels *can be tweaked to your liking and also modded for many other things to do that stock can't*, you can still get the official updates rooted so basically if they are allowing you to access it unlike many companies that don't why not take advantage?

Sysconfig patcher, youtube Vanced, xxx no limits rom (which is a module), google dialer, etc
Flash twrp, magisk, a custom kernel, xposed, xposed gravitybox, YouTube Vanced and Adaway and you'll have tons of mods on the stock ROM and you won't have to flash those stock based custom Roms that will make you want to pull your hair out.

Looking for the best magisk modules+recommended rooted apps

Hello guys. I make my phone rooted yesterday and i really want to improve my phone, make it change(some fingerpring and etc) and really want better battery.
Can you please help me guys?
I just can tell what i used and satisfied:
Magisk and TWRP you use already.
Viper4Audio for better audio quality if you have good headset
I changed the Kernel to Kirisakura or Arter97 (still testing which is better)
For the look i use Renovate ICE v14 (on telegram channel)
And for bloatware i use xXx No Limit v12 (and in the prop file i manually choose what i need or not / Viper4Audio and Youtube Vanced included), but you can find 2 other scripts if you need just de-bloatware (dont remember the names but you can find here), and for anti-ad i use Energizer Pro (faster than ADFly)

First of all thanks for the comment.
Ive got viperFX, this is good version?
What is bloatware if i can ask?
With Renovate you can costumise what you want? Can you send me download link please?
About adblock, i searched for it in magisk but found something else, Energised protection. Its the same or should i download something else?
One more thing. I want app systemizer to delete administrator apps but i cant download it. I also cant download xposed and etc... Why?
ViperFX is good, the newest version is 2.7 but if you have 2.5 is the same good just 2.7 is better view (material theme)
Bloatware is what you want to remove. Its come with pre-installed app with your phone (ROM), for example facebook already installed by default.
xXx No limit ROM, have a custom file called build.prop. its a text file, if you want to install, you have to install via Magisk (can be remove anytime), and you can modify the build.prop before.
What you need, what you dont need. and put the xXx ROM file and the build.prop file in the xXx directory of your internal card. Dont worry, its not a "real" rom, it will leave your OxygenOS, just add/remove extras. Same way working the Renovate. Install via Magisk, can be removed anytime. Magisk is mostly for optical tuning, like change the font or color of statusbar etc. You can see both's features in the link.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...agisk-rom-xxx-nolimits-7-0-speed-ram-t3933927
https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...vate-ice-oxygenos-tweaks-stables-svn-t3934356
For NoLimit have newer version you can find it in OP8 topic, and RenovateIce have newer also, you can find in their Telegram channel.
this is the AD Blocker: https://energized.pro/ - you need a terminal emulator like Termux from google play.
the most popular script is Blu but the most blocked AD site is in Xtreme (slower of course but still fast). This can be download from Magisk repository (yes, energised protection)
About better battery, change the kernel to Kernel to Arter97 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/oneplus-7-7-pro-7t-7t-pro-cross-device-kernel-development/arter97-kernel-oneplus-7-t3952578) from TWRP (it will recognise you have magisk, so nothing to do after install).
I want app systemizer to delete administrator apps but i cant download it. I also cant download xposed and etc... Why?
You can find MANY apps need root for delete system apps, but i recommend to use script, because you can recover if you make mistake.
For me the XPosed had problem (Actually the Riru -both - YAHFA and Sandhook) on my phone. So i cant tell.
I hope i could helped you.

Yes, just go to TWRP and install, thats all. You can check in settings/about after if you changed or not.

or you can try

Installing Xposed Framework

Hello. I understand that Xposed Framework does not exist for our Galaxy A51. Of course, all due to lack of support TWRP. Actually, the question is: is it possible to install Xposed without Recovery and if so how to do it? Magisk installed by patching boot.img file. Is it possible to do this with Xposed?
Hello, I did root with this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZD2jkkKX_E&list=LL&index=4&ab_channel=InvisibleDiamond and then install TWRP from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a51/how-to/searching-twrp-sm-a515f-t4132751/page7 and then install xposed from Magisk, I only have 3 modules but none download it from xposed, so I wouldn’t know if there is any compatible module, I hope I helped you, I’m not very good at explaining and I have to use translator haha

This tutorial is really simple. There, 90% of the video needs to be cut.
Is this TWRP working? Can he write the /system section?

The TWRP only installed it, you would have to ask whoever is doing it, honestly do not use it since there is nothing to install for this cell phone

From Magisk, installing riru core and riru EdXposed! You see the edxposed icon in the applications and when you want to enter, it tells you to install the original application or something like that, I don’t remember well
