hi
look here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-how-to-root-mate-9-decrypt-data-t3569986
if you can clearly see data in internal storage its decrypted if not you have to follow this guide
greetz benji
So if I see my infernal storage for TWRP is that's OK?
If you do not see it then I need to do a wipe data format and....(what now)?

Go to setting, storage, and format it ... It'll fix it for you
IF you are facing the problem of. "" “Insufficient storage Space” Issue on Playstore while or simply adding few extra apps to device."
But the problem is now solved by re partitioning the Internal Memory and thus decreasing the Internal Memory and henceforth increasing App storage space on Xperia C.
Note: If you increase App or Device storage space of Xperia C then your Internal Memory becomes 210
MB, therefore if you do not have memory card yet, you should not proceed with this tutorial.
Procedure:
1 First of all Take Full CWM
backup of Xperia C,
2. Flash ghe file given below.
3. Xperia C will take almost 10 minutes in
rebooting,
4. Once Xperia C starts, then simply turn off
the phone and again boot into recovery and
restore the backup you created earlier using
CWM.

Sorry for the late reply as I was busy with my boards. No restoring the backup would just restore data the app memory would remain 2 gb. Hope I was able to help you.
Done Successfully..thank you..!!
Did this thing successfully..!! Now have total 2GB as an internal memory. No worry about installing lot of apps. Thanks to developer:good:. Specially to informationlord.com who has given step by step procedure with snapshots, solutions to each problem that may occur during the process with every tiny detail. I suggestion to those who are going to try this is that they should go to every line they've written on informationlord.com:cyclops: Thanks to developers again for making me proud user of Xperia C. Now this phone is perfect for me.
Really need to restart after installing Increase internal storage or can already do the restore without leaving the CWM? Here restarted the xperia c returned to the mode of manufacture but had not lost root. installed again and installed CWM and oh yes I could do the restoration. I think we missed explain this detail .or is it wrong steps?

Hello,
As you know, TWRP recovery is able to decrypt HTC 10. It would be possible for A9...

HTC Sense roms are data encrypted (internal storage). Then TWRP cannot make data partition backup. The only way for now to backup /data is to format data first.
You could find more informations in xda forums, just google it
Cheers
Hi!
I'm trying to install Titanium Backup and I can't. Either from sd or store. When I'm trying to install from sd it just says "App has been not installed" and when I'm trying to install it from store I get error -504. It's not network error because I can install other apps. I had this once then I had to delete it.
Things I've tried:
- Clearing cache
- Find leftovers (no leftovers found in Android -> data)
- Installing older version of it from sd
I got root access (Magisk).
Any clue?

I unlocked the bootloader today, uploaded TWRP, flashed the magisk. I cannot use sdcard in TWRP. There are folders with random characters. I also can't backup in twrp. How to fix access to sdcard? It has an android 10 stock rom.

I know you flashed it. But sometimes it might be helpful to read the installation guide:
NOTE-1: Monthly security updates may (or may not) break decryption of /data in TWRP. NOTE-2: Decryption of /data works only when installing TWRP permanently!

Start TWRP, grep a log and upload it here or on a filehoster. The size of the log doesn't matter.

That's interesting... zippyshare.com blocks german ip addresses by default. I'm glad to have tor browser installed on my device.
Ok, you have to format /data. TWRP can't decrypt your storage the way it should normally work.
Make sure you don't wipe it! It must be formatted!
On TWRP mainscreen open wipe > in the lower right corner you find format. Your data gets only encrypted when booting into system. So let your device boot once before starting TWRP again.

Sure you selected "format data"? Did you have to confirm it by typing "yes"?
Stock ROM?

A wipe only erases all single files and folders that are stored on /data while it keeps encrypted.
This flag is a part of the metadata/partition table.
I don't know... try an older version of TWRP.
