Need to factory reset my rooted phone - LG G Flex 2

Hey guys,
I have the LG G Flex 2 (h950 att) on 5.1.1 (V11x). The problem is that.. I erased the storage folder on internal memory while connected to the computer, so that erased all my media data like photos, music, videos, etc. All my apps are ok.
Now, I want to factory reset it but i have a doubt.
The problem is that I rooted my phone as said in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/development/root-easy-root-att-flex-2-5-1-1-t3178354
And it rooted well, but now I don't know if I factory reset it from android options, could it brick or somethig? I really need to know, I don't know if the way it was rooted could be a problem.
Thanks!

[Q] Recovering lost data from phone, no mass storage, no sinc

Hi everyone,
I've downgraded today an xperia U from ICS to GB with the result of an expected total data loss.
Problem is the phone isn't mine and google sinc wasn't activated and now I've to recover lot of contact and I don't know how.
I've tried some data recovery pc software but all of them require the mass storage connection which the firmware I've used (ST25i_6.0.B.3.184_Generic_World) isn't enabled to have.
Is there any other way I can recover at least some of the contacts?
Please, it's really important!

If you can't use mass storage, then you would really have to work a lot harder as many of the tools that google has are for 4.x+. If the phone is rooted, you can try making a clockwork backup of the device, otherwise, there isn't much else you can do, to my knowledge.

[Q] Doing a factory reset to a rooted Xperia L

I have an Xperia L phone which I rooted a few months back. I haven't unlocked the bootloader AFAIR. Just rooted it.
Now I have been getting weird memory space issues. I already tried the album galleries fix, the SD-Maid, rooted and deleted junk files but it still doesn't let me install apps. So I'm planning to do a factory reset.
1) Does anyone know what exactly happens in a factory reset in XPeria L? Does it have a built-in image that gets restored? Or does it only wipe the data and cache completely?
2) Any idea whether root will still be maintained or not?
3) Is there anything that I should watch out for?

As far as I know, it wipes your data completely. And doesn't restore any factory image. And therefore you shouldn't lose root.
However, I can't guarantee it. There's nothing you should watch for and you can always root your device.
Hit thanks ¡*

after factory reset everything will be reset to factory image..
you will loose root access for sure.
SU binary and the Superuser apk are installed on the system partition and thus not touchable by the factory reset.

Which means that...the root access should still be there?

[Q] Question About Recovering Photos

My Moto G is not rooted, and I'm looking to recover photos that were just recently deleted.
All the methods I see for rooting this phone, all say that all data will be factory wiped.
My question is, is there any root method out there, that won't factory reset the phone?
If not, does wiping the phone make recovering those photos near impossible at that point?

[Q] Recover data after factory reset

Hi All,
I did a factory reset on my unrooted Nexus 5 & lost all my videos after doing that.
I am running 5.0 now & the phone functions normally.
I am specifically looking for video files for which I forgot to take a backup.
Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.
Just videos? Or your files and sdcard storage in general?
Just video files.. Everything else was backed up before the factory reset.
Man, sorry to say but I think your videos are gone if you forgot to back them up :/

Is there a way to recover data from an S7 after a factory reset?

So a friend of mine recently factory resetted her S7 after she couldn't unlock it. But in doing so she didnt know all her data would be gone. She had tons of photos and videos that she liked and now they are all gone.
Is there a way to recover all that data? Or is it lost forever?
Maybe from Google photos if setup backup. Maybe this is stolen phone, not hers? Anyway only from backup, internal memory is encrypted.

Edit.
Oops. At least I wasn't the original bumper lol.
How can you factory reset your phone which the phone is locked up? in TWRP?
You should have made a backup or mount your phone to PC in TWRP before factory resetting.
