Is there any way of using wifi to browse for files on anther PC or device ?

I was wondering if it was possible to browse device for files via Bluetooth as my old Nokia could even do this!
Any apps/mods/tweaks/methods?
It is connected to an iMac

why trying to use bluetooth ?
you can use your wifi instead
it is much faster and easier
just download Airdroid or Wifi file explorer from the market and you are done
or if you want to use bluetooth use bluetooth file explorer...

i can transfer file from my device (micromax bolt a27) to pc
by create ftp server by es file explorer.. and create hot spot....join my laptop to my hotspot connection
and open browser and type ftp in url .. i get the files....
but i cant transfer files from mobile phone to another phone......
wifi direct not supported in my android version ..it support abve 4.0
pls help meeeee

Use Es File Explorer, it's not only an explorer.
Not sure, but with an had hoc bridge? If supported of course.

Does anyone know how I can load a new kodi build onto a firestick from a Flash Drive? The TV my stick is on has a usb port on it, but I have been trying to use ES File Explorer to access the build, and I cannot figure out how. So, I cannot load it on the stick. Hello everyone,
I have an android box and i want to turn this box into a download server such as synology NAS (with download station and host file).
I would like to have an app on my mobile in which i can add uptobox 1fichier link and my box launch the download.
My goal il to launch download on my box intead of doing this on my computer then copy the file on my box to read it.
Have you an idea how i can do this ?
