ALCATEL OT-908 STOCK ROM FRG83G.v63N

STOCK ROM FOR ALCATEL OT-908
*IMPORTANT*
*Root Access required*
If your ALCATEL OT-908 phone is not yet rooted,
check my tutorial guide on how to ''Successfully Root Alcatel OT-908''
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1467676
If you have root access on your phone the next thing you should do is
install the application ''recovery manager'' on your phone.
see download link below post
Once you have recovery manager installed you need to flash a custom recovery image with it in order to boot to clockworkmod's recovery and flash
the STOCK ROM.
see download link below post for the image file or visit URL
-recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-ot908-unsigned.zip - 4,33 MB (4.550.656 bytes)
-recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-ot908-update_signed.zip - 4,49 MB (4.714.496 bytes)
If you plan to flash a signed ROM (STOCK ROM) that is an official ALCATEL, you should use the signed recovery image
If you plan to flash a unsigned ROM (CUSTOM ROM) that is non-official, you should use the unsigned recovery image.
URL = http://android.podtwo.com/recovery.php?device=ot908
Once you flashed your custom recovery using recovery manager, you should reboot into recovery using the option in the recovery manager, and it should reboot into clockworkmod recovery.
Now you can select updating ROM, but recommended (seriously!) before
upgrading or flashing this ROM to make a NANDbackup using clockworkmod recovery
- Android Froyo 2.2 OS
FRG83G.v61S-0-update_signed.zip = 98,3 MB (103.079.936 bytes)
- Android Froyo 2.2 OS
FRG83G.v63N-0-update_signed.zip = 107 MB (111.755.264 bytes)
The mirrors for the download links are :

Am I mistaken, or is the download link for Recovery Manager missing?

Thanks, will try!

Easy Steps to Install Custom Recovery: (CAN ONLY BE DONE ON A ROOTED DEVICE)

2. Copy it to the root directory of your Phone Memory.
3. Download Mobileuncle MTK Tools from PlayStore.
4. Open Mobileuncle MTK Tools and Click on Recovery Update and select the img file of your downloaded recovery.

Mi4C Flashing From Stock

hei there, i just bought a new mi4c. and it has been a week.
So i want to share my step on installing custom rom right away from stock.
the step is :
1. Install kingiroot
2. Root your phone using kingiroot
3. Install flashify from playstore
4. grant root for flashify and flash twrp custom recovery to mi4c
5. install reboot recovery from playstore and use the app to enter recovery mode
6. Flash custom recovery from your desired ROM. (in my case, i install custom recovery from xiaomi.eu
7. Install your ROM through the custom recovery
Done.
I've already installed Custom Rom 8.2.1.0 miui.eu Everything work well excepet edge tap (edge control).
do i miss something on my flashing step?
or do i need some later ROM as baseband before installing my desired custom ROM?
For anyone following this, if you want to flash a not miui based custom rom you have to unlock the bootloader with the official tool, otherwise you will brick the device.
If you brick the device flash the oldest firmware you can find(I already had this problem before).
I used Kingo to root my Mi4c and it worked well.
Does not work anymore if you run with Android 7.0
Note: my AV detected Kingo Link as trojan...
