hard bricked my MT-TL10

Hi there,
Kindly help... I successfully installed B512 on my TL10 using force upgrade method, afterwhich I changed recovery to TWRP 3.0.2 using mobopx v2.2, which was also successful. And then I installed SuperSU 2.46 via TWRP, then cleared cache/dalvik. But upon rebooting system, I get a blank screen, even after waiting for more than 15 minutes.
And so I tried going to TWRP (Vol+ and power), which was successful, in order to boot to bootloader, with the intention of loading back the stock bootloader via adb, so that I can force install B512 from my microSD card again. It seemed to install fine...
However, at this point, I cannot reboot to bootloader (Vol- and power) anymore, I only get blank screen. Trying recovery (Vol+ and power) doesn't work either. Rebooting normally gives me the same. I cannot by any means connect via adb now.
Is there any way to unbrick my phone at this point?
Thanks so much. Cheers.
Works entrance for the recovery (Vol+ and Vol- and Power)?

What happens when you do a Vol up + power?

The phone "doesn't want to turn off" bro. It has fully discharged, but as soon as I plug the charger in, it immediately powers up. When it does, now it shows the Huawei logo. But it's stuck there, and if I press the power button for a few secs, it will power down, but immediately power up again...

Let it get fully charged first. Then remove the charger and keep the Vol up and power button pressed for ~10 secs or more, and see where it takes you.

Done bro. Although I must say, I'm kinda back like yesterday when the phone is just helplessly discharging until it drops dead. Pressing vol+ and power restarts the phone, but I'm still stuck at the logo...

You seem to be in a sticky situation bro. Your recovery seems to be broken because in stock recovery Vol up + power should ideally take you to recovery and not restart. If you could somehow boot into fastboot mode then it could open up some options to bring your phone to life.
With no way to connect to the phone the only options left are the hardware buttons. I am sure you'd have tried them already, but just in case you have not, try the other 2 key combinations also, Vol down + power and Vol up + Volume down + power, for ~10 secs, to check if any of these either forces a factory reset or boots the phone into fastboot mode.

That's correct bro. Although it appears from adb that I was able to install the stock recovery, I cannot access it with Vol+ and power.

Yes, I did. And I can't even boot to bootloader after all that... The phone only seems to charge, but is stuck at the logo.
I'm ready to send this to Huawei's service center. Is there anything more I can do at this point before I do that? Thanks so much.

Thanks bro, but that's what I did, or at least was planning to do. After rooting B512 via TWRP, the phone got stuck at the logo. And so I tried to install stock recovery, which it did, in order to reflash the stock ROM. But at this point I'm still stuck at the logo, and I can't access recovery and BL anymore. The BL is unlocked right from the start...

Go ahead, send it to Huawei service centre. They'll have ways to reach the internal memory after opening up the device.

Thank you for this suggestion brother. I tried exactly as you described, however, the phone looks badly discharged, and while the screen was blinking/showing the red battery icon, it doesn't seem to want to charge. I waited around 5 minutes, but nothing seems to progress from here.
And so now, I moved the USB cable to a proper charger, and now it seems to be charging, with the LED light a steady red, and the screen the normal red circle with "0%" inside. It seems to be charging at the moment, although I really have to wait until it shows "1%" until I can surely say so.
One thing that's different now is that the phone hasn't turned on (by itself) yet. And at least this looks promising.
I'll let you know what happens in a while... Thank you!

Nexus 5 capricious Recovery

Hi,
Since my buggy Htc One M8 finally died, I bought a second-hand Nexus 5, but . . . it is buggy too :crying:
In fact, everything works well in the system, but the recovery is very capricious:
First thing I did with my brand new phone was to unlock bootloader and flash a TWRP recovery in order to install Cyanogenmod 14.1
But when I tried to boot into recovery, I had the "No command" bug, so I re-flashed the recovery, just to see. It works, TWRP shows up and I installed Cyanogenmod.
Then after verifying everything were ok with the rom, I decided to root the device, so I tried to reboot to recovery . . . buuut it just reboot to cyanogenmod, even by shuting down phone and pressing power + volume
Are all Nexus 5 so buggy or is it just mine, anyone with recovery problems here ? :crying:
PS: Sorry for grammar errors, I'm French
Did you try to enable root access under cm14.1's Developer settings?
To get into recovery with the phone powered off, hold down volume up, volume down, and power. Once the phone starts to boot release power, use volume button to highlight recovery, press power to select recovery.
Hi,
I just tried with root option checked, it seems to work better, I'll come back here if problem comes back
Thank you :good:

Nexus 5 D820 Bricked

Hi all,
My Nexus 5was running stock Android M till last week and I wanted Android N. So I rooted my phone installed TWRp and loaded android N by @santhosh. Everything went well but at times some apps kept crashing including TWRP. So I decided to to do a clean wipe. I did a clean wipe from recovery but after that my phone is not booting up. It's stuck on bootloop.
I am not able to boot into recovery mode also is there any way to save my phone?
Pardon my English.
Are you able to access the bootloader (hold power button + vol down until the phone boots)
I suggest using NRT to flash a stock ROM.

No i can't. It will go to bootloader When I press volume down + power but only for a second or so.. After that it'll bootloop.

Sounds like a dead power button?
Not sure, never had this problem.
But that is a common issue
The fact that the phone is not detected by the phone makes it difficult to re-flash a stock ROM.
If it is a power button issue, I recommend removing the motherboard, cleaning around the power button with pure isopropyl alcohol., quickly press and release the power button using a bit more pressure that usual, replace the motherboard, and try again.

Problem accessing the twrp 3.1.1.0

Hi everyone. I have an honor 6x emui 5, android 7 Nougat, and I unlocked the bootloader but I have a problem (I followed this guide) after running the command C:\ adb> adb reboot recovery, it says:
"Your device has been unlocked and can not be trusted.
To learn more, visit:
...
your device is booting now "
but it stays stuck on this screen and does not let me access the twrp.
Do you have a solution?
I looked around for something but there is nothing concrete and clear. Thanks a lot.
Luigi (i'm not Mario's brother)
Hi Luigi (ouch, thought it was Mario's bro :silly: ), once you flash TWRP through fastboot, you boot directly to it in way to don't let Huawei Recovery overwrite it immediately after?
To do this, as you finish to flash the image you'll need to boot to TWRP using hardware keys (at least that's what i did to make it works). When you're still in fastboot mode and TWRP is flashed, keep pressed power button and wait until your phone's display becomes black.
Be ready to hold down power button and Vol+ together as soon as you feel the phone vibrating while restarting (pay many attention to this step because it's the trickiest part - power button should be released while phone it's on black screen, but you'll for have to re-hold down power button again shortly after! Basically just hold the two keys and release them immediately as you see the Honor logo) and if everything went well, you'll finally be in TWRP.
Lemme know if you'll be able to win the game or if you need a Power-Up mushroom.

he did not want to. How do I do now? I've tried any combination of buttons but it remains locked :crying:

Immediately after that you've flashed TWRP and you get "success" message, when you're still on fastboot mode. Just type "fastboot reboot" and prepare to hold the keys once phone vibrates.

That's weird. But until I'll know more about the steps you did, helping becomes harder. Tell me something because just flashing stuff to recovery partition could not mess system that much, unless that you've flashed a wrong TWRP or the correct TWRP but in a wrong partition.

Samsung Galaxy a40 stuck on "powered by android" screen

Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy A40 and yesterday I tried to flash LineageOS (I already have experience flashing gsi's), but when i rebooted the system, it just stuck on the "Powered by Android" screen.
It's not even rebooting, it just stays on that screen until the battery dies. So I've tried to let the battery drain and then booting into download mode after charging it a bit by pressing Vol Up + Vol Down and then plugging it into pc, but for some reason it just won't boot into download mode. What can I do now without having to risk booting into that screen and having to wait another full day again?
Hi,
You probably have to flash the latest firmware for your device.
If the phone freeze on the powered by android screen you can press and hold volume down + power and the phone will force reboot.
To reach download mode you can try this :
Turn off the device
Press and hold Volume UP key + Power Key for a while
Release all key when Samsung logo appears then you will see Android System Recovery
Select Reboot to Bootloader
Use Power key to Confirm

The easiest step is the keys but look like it doesnt work for you.
You should try to boot with different key combination get past the bootscreen, otherwise i suggest you to got to a repair center if you can't
