Hi guys,
I have noticing that my videos flicker a lot.
Sometimes when I shoot indoors my screen and videos look like when a video camera is filming a monitor with different refresh rates. I tested with my other devices (2 Samsung tablets, 1 Pipo P9 tablet, 1 Lenovo Smartphone and a Xiaomi Mi4i Smartphone) and ony the galaxy S7 flickers.
Today I went to the park with the kids and the exterior videos are floickering as well but only when I play them on my Philips LCD.
Is correct to assume that my phone camera has issues and I should contact Samsung?
Thanks

I want to get this tablet mainly for movies & youtube. I know the screen is only 800p, but I have a slow Internet connection so I only tend to watch 720p videos anyway.
How good do youtube and movies look on this display with regards to black level and colours.

This review pretty much sums it up...
"The Note 10.1's display was both a disappointment and a surprise. The display carries a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels, the same as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and the Toshiba Excite 10.1. That means no high-pixel density clarity or detail on text or graphics, as you'd find on the Acer Iconia Tab A700, Apple iPad, and Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700.
However, Samsung has clearly done something with this tablet to boost its display performance. The sharpness and color of images is dramatically better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and my high-resolution images in the Google Gallery had sharpness and detail that came close to what you'd find on the high-pixel density displays. (Another observation: Android tablets typically struggle with skin tones, but the Note 10.1 produced some of the most realistic skin tones I've seen.) Text clarity was better than than on the abysmal Galaxy Tab 2, but it couldn't hold a candle to what you'd get on any of the high-pixel density displays."
I think it's awesome in my opinion. I live the dual speakers having forward. It's now my go to to watch series on in bed.

I thunk this tablet may have the best 1280x800 HD displays out there. REMEMBER. 720P is HD also The display combined with great stereo speakers make this an excellent tablet for media consumption and viewing/listening.
I watch a lot of movies on it. I really don't have an issue with the screen and the sound is impressive.

If you've watched 1080p videos and 720p for example a 15 inch laptop I'd say that you didn't see almost any difference. Of course the screen resolution itself is more important than the videos resolution, but then think about the size, which is minus 5 inches of that laptops screen I find this tablets screen very good. Sometimes I have to zoom webpages but that's only when using splitscreen. So yes it's verygood, but it could be better of course

Very Good. Breathtaking and inspiring.

The screen is accurately calibrated according to "Display Tester" by gombosdev (free in the Play Store). I have no tablet or phone (LCD or AMOLED) that can pass all of the app's gamma tests -- except the 10.1 Note (with latest update).
I was really confused when I wanted to buy a tablet. I was confused between both the New iPad and the Samsung Note 10.1
I was a big Apple fan until I got my hands on this amazing, inspiring, incredible, and lovely Note.
It is seriously one of the best devices I ever had.
Web browsing, youtube videos, movies, gaming, studies, and so much more! "I was actually watching SuperNatural's new episode on my Note10.1 today."
Word of advice: GET IT !
Hi folks,
I love my OPO , it's a cool phone but there's something annoying about it that i've noticed.
The video taken from front camera during low light is very choppy , with slow frame rate, looks kinda made from a cheap phone.
Even the preview is very choppy. In apps like Snapchat, this is very visible.
Outside, performance is good, no frame dropping. But inside, low light , it is very bad. Other phones i;ve used like Note II and S4 were smooth even during indoor video capture using front camera.
Am I the only one facing this ? :silly:
Is there a fix available ? anyone...
Well dear friends, i was willing to buy a Note 5 because a lot of features, but one in specific that i like it is when recording a video in Note 5, then in the screen appears a little light bulb to control the brighteness during the video record.
So today i found a real good price deal in S6 and i bought it (over the internet). Then later i went to a Samsung store and played with S6 thinking about the same camera sensor and all, and i didn't saw that light bulb option while recording video, and i really don't like dark videos (i have a S5 and some of then is like crap).
So, did the S6 have this option in any way? Maybe with a different third part app or in a new update?
Your friends are never going to believe what you did. The only way to prove it to them is with that video you took. Rate this thread to express how videos shot on the Realme 2 pro come out. A higher rating indicates that videos are smooth (and not choppy) and that auto-focus works very well, and that the camera adjusts quickly to different lighting conditions while recording.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Quality is unquestionable, but I'm wondering how long it can last

Go and see a Doctor.
Videos record at 30 or 60fps?? Any mod to record at 60fps??
Does the color pop up when watching videos? How would you rate this against Redmi Note 7 or Samsung AMOLED displays?

I bought Samsung Note 10. Last few years I had Huawei Mate 10. I like to watch recordings of pro starcraft games on youtube on my phone before sleep but yesterday, watching for the first time on Note 10, I see that video quality is much lower on Note 10 then on mate 10 (on both phones, video in youtube is in 1080p). Colors on note are stronger, but video sharpness is not. Video is much more clear on mate 10... it feels like note is oversaturated with colors which then kills the details/sharpness (not sure if I described it good). Starcraft is not the only thing where I can see that.. other youtube videos also look much sharper/more clear on mate 10.
I was thinking that problem might be because mate 10 is QHD but actually I see that I have it set to FHD display in settings.
Girlfriend's Samsung A52 video quality on youtube is also worse then on mate.
I checked one .mkv movie on both mate and note and there is also visible difference in sharpness/detail but less then on youtube.
I feel very disappointed by this since I expected really good video quality of a flagship phone.
Here is to comparation. Mate 10 up, note 10 down. You can see if you watch closely how image on mate is more clear and sharp. It reality, difference is much bigger.. youtube made lower video quality of this comparation:
Just realized, problem is not with static image (there aren't many as observer is moving all the time) but when image is moving.. basicially there is too much blur/smear. Then I went to open one of the newer recordings that has 1080p60 and everything is perfect!
Still, I don't understand why mate 10 process 1080 (not 60fps) good and note 10 makes it blurry..
