LS996 ZVB rootedsystem.img? Anyone still have it? - LG G Flex 2

Screwed up my phone and deleted my rooted image. Does anyone still have this? The person that originally uploaded it is no longer hosting it.

Nevermind, that's not rooted. D:

Please, thanks!

Just unzip it on your PC. I used LG Flash Tool to flash it to my phone.

Nonono, I need the actual system.img file, please. I would appreciate it much! LG Firmware Extract has trouble extracting that homemade TOT, I am unable to extract the system image.

Don't use LG Firmware extractor. Just use 7zip/winrar/etc. to unzip the file on a PC. Search the forum for the LS996 DLL file, and use LG Flash Tool to flash to your phone.

English. Do you speak it? IMAGE of SYSTEM partition is NOT a TOT. Have you noticed that the other 6 replies for my request in this thread have been, "here, have a TOT, something you specifcially stated was useless to you."

How about you do that and send me the system image? As I mentioned above, the TOT is useless to me because I cannot flash it, it is not an option. The system image, the one I´ve been begging for on here for months, is what I need. NOTHING else will do, that is why Ive asked, over and over, for months, for this one simple file, one simple task. It would be trivial for someone to fulfill this, but no.

Hate to bother you again, but I just grabbed the factory image.... is just the recovery itself the "bootloader-hammerhead..."? (only other img file) Screenshot is what I got inside the factory image folder...
EDIT- I opened up the image in 7zip and found it. Haha I feel dumb. Thanks again for your help!

I need to remove Bountyman's MODS!!! Help please!

Hello guys!
I flashed those mods, didn't like them and now I want to go back to pure stock(H955 here,so MM update is near) but when I try to flash with LG Flash Tool(CSE) the phone just freezes at 0%.
After restart I can use it(no bootloop or anything) but I can't figure out how to go back to stock.
If one of you would be so kind to explain it to me step by step I would greatly appreciate it.
Edit:SOLVED!
Just extracted system.img from H95515C and flashed using easy root tool.
I'll upload a system dump later in case someone else needs it.

extract t-mobile modem.img from latest firmware

Hey gang,
This was done by another member on XDA. latest tmobile firmware is Build: 10.5.17.IN55CB. I have 2 questions:
1. is there a remote possibility of downloading the tmobile firmware or it totally internal, as in, the firmware is under "lock and key" from tmobile.
2. is there the latest modem.img from the latest firmware extracted yet by a remote possibility?
Thanks.
NOTE: for those that can provide me a link, a donation is coming your way for your help. :good:

I have the modem from the 10.5.10 (I think) tmobile firmware. I downloaded it as a modem.img. I need to know if the modem.img from the latest firmware 10.5.17 was pulled. I know tmobile is hella regulating on these firmwares now.
I did download the stock firmware from your mega.nz account. I unzipped it and got this: modem.emmc It just threw me a mental curveball.

Did you backup your LUN5 partitions in qfil? If No, then find someone with same variant and get a LUN5 backup partition which must include modemst1, modemst2, fsg, fsc. Boot to EDL, erase the mentioned partitions and replace with the one you got. If the partitions you get does not match, you may get a OPID error mismatch

They have an app for that. you would grant it root access and then can view pretty much anything you want. Check out playstore for root access file manager apps
