I was discussing pros/cons of buying dual sim variant with local BB Samsung Experience rep. In addition to giving up carrier specific features he told me dual sim only available in international model, and it would not have Bixby???

Yup, it'll take some time to get it ready for all the European accents. We will get it some months after release I imagine. Europe often gets features later than the US and Asia. It was the same deal for Samsung Pay. Even Google do it, they rolled out Google Assistant in the US but it's not here in the UK yet. Should be soon enough.
We will get it, just not at launch. People will have to be patient.
Bixby is on international phones. Local language support isn't

Hello All,
I just got invited to purchase a One yesterday, but I am not sure what providers/carriers I am able to use it with in Canada. I was wondering if anybody had one and could tell me who it will work with or knows who it will work with. The providers that I am looking at are:
-Telus
-Rogers
-Bell
-Koodo
-Fido
-Virgin Mobile
Any and all information is appreciated.
Thanks,
Graeme
if its unlocked, then it should work with all, as they all use the same spectrum,
P.S mind sending an invite your neighbours way
OK so first thing first, koodo, Fido and virgin mobile is owned by one of the big 3, so if the phone works on the big 3 it will work on them.

Now that is right from OnePlus One, so the only carriers I don't think will work, is carriers like wind, mobilicity, and companies like that
I'm trying to find someone here in the states that has purchased an OPO from a reseller and is successfully using it on AT&T. I'm trying to find out what model you got, did it come with cm11s, and what was your price including customs. I'm so far back in the invite list (53420) it will be next year before I get an invite. I have tried to research for this info in the threads but most of the owners are overseas. I will appreciate any feedback.

You can look here to see which LTE bands various networks use: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Americas
AT&T, along with most other networks in America use band 4 and 17 which are the two bands the Chinese one plus one doesn't support, compared to the international one.
He're is a comparison of the bands for the international One Plus compared to the Chinese One Plus:

Essentially you need the international version of the One Plus if you reside in North / South America or Canada, unless you happen to be on a GSM network.
Anyone have this Chatbots in the messenger app? What the hell is it how did it end it up on my phone? Started noticing it after I had my phone's Sim unlocked from mobbdeep... Not sure if it's related but it's on my phone since then

Ya I noticed this after an app update from OP on the play store. It's really dumb and annoying and I can't figure out how to turn it off
It's not related to the unlock though
I actually like it. I first used it on my S20 Ultra. Only for one bot, the BestBuy Deal of the day Bot. I was pretty stoked when my new OP8 had it actually. Yeah, I am probably the only on XDA that would use it but hey, it works me.
I noted something now that you brought this up. I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. AT&T has a lot more providers than T-Mo!
I bought the Galaxy S21 in the US and was very disappointed to find out that it had limited functionality than variants sold elsewhere (like dual sim and built-in call recording). Is there a way to replace the US version of the phone app with the non-US version so that I can have call recording functionality?
Left: US Phone app
Right: Non-US Phone app

Welcome to XDA
An interesting question. Was thinking the same thing if it was possible on a stock Samsung.
Thinking about but no plans of doing... the stock apk is a little glitchy but overall works well and consumes little battery.
Switching to dark mode be an improvement for you. You can also easily change its appearance with free Galaxy Store themes.
What issues are you experiencing?
Despite fold3 and flip3 being listed as supported both tools fails to change CSC. So don't waste your money.
Is the support informed?
It was my understanding that you don't actually change it anymore. I thought you (network) unlocked the device and the new SIM would trigger an update or you could install it through Odin.
The Sprint S10+ I purchased updated itself to T-Mobile when I switched carriers. That isn't this phone, but not something I see them reversing.
The IMEI will still trace back to a previous carrier, so the only benefit would be automatic updates for the right carrier.
Do you know any way to change csc? Will samkey support it in the future?

I've asked Samkey support. It's coming soon.
Anyone tested new version?
