Here how to install SuperSU , FlashFire and Cynogen recovery on Xolo era 4g lollipop. - General Questions and Answers

First of all you need to root your xolo era 4g with kingroot.
Here how to root your xolo era 4G.
1. Download Kingroot 4.9.3 (Search it on Google and do not download kingroot 5.x.x or above)
2. Before rooting enable USB debugging and Unlock OEM form Developer option.
3. Root with kingroot and your phone may reboot more than 5 times.
Now steps to install Cynogen recovery after Rooted your xolo era 4g.
1. Download Cynogen recovery from "drive.google.com/open?id=0B7rWS2FCs7IBLXp1Y25MR0FyZjg"
here and extract it .
2. Install Flashify app from Googel Play Store.
3. Open Flashify ,give the root permission and click on Recovery image and choose downloaded recovery.img then YUP! it. (you should backup Stock recovery before flashing cynogen recovery.)
4. You Cynogen recovery may not work, so you may need to mount system RW by an app " Mount /system RO/RW " download it from Google play.
Now steps to remove Kingroot and install SuperSU on Xolo era 4g.
1. Download SuperSU zip from "download.chainfire.eu/696/supersu"
2. Now open Kingroot then go to Setting and Unstall Kingroot , note that do not backup root while unrooting. (untick root backup option)
3. Your phone will automatically restart .
4. Now power off your phone , and open cynogen recovery by pressing Volume UP + Power button.
5. Now click on apply update then choose SuperSU.zip. Then start your phone.
6. SuperSU will be successfully installed.
7. It may ask to update binary then click on update and select is normal update (Do not select TWRP/CWM). The binary will update successfully without any error.
Now you have successfully replaced Kingroot to SuperSU and now you can use Fireflash without any error to flash a zip.
Note that do not flash Stock update by Flashfire such as Marshmallow update.zip. It will Brick your phone. To fix you need to flash stock rom by PC.
You can restore stock recovery by Flashify if you have backup stock recovery and install Marshmallow update from stock recovery.
Thanks.

Help needed

Alright so I tried rooting my micromax a110 (canvas 2) . At first I used bin4ry. I followed all instructions properly and after the message shows have fun and phone rebbots but no super su binaries are installed. I uesd root checker to see if device is rooted but it shows that its not rooted !! I even used SP flash tools , when i boot into cwm recovery to manually install super su from sd card , it starts installing but after 2 seconds it shows "installation failed" I am new to android rooting and all so please help ! And also can you install a prerooted rom without rooting your device .!
If u are unable to root with the software via debugging mode than only option left is via recovery mode.......this happened with me also.....if u have already cwm recovery then rename the downloaded su zip file as update.zip and place it in SD card...... boot into cwm recovery mode choose the option install zip and select SD card and then update.zip.....it will be successfully installed......
And answer to ur question ...
It does not matter on which rom u are ....if the zip u download is pre rooted and cwm flash able just place it in zip card and follow the steps..
Wipe data/ factory reset;mounts and storage-->format system;clear all cache ....then choose install zip.....after installation come back to cwm recovery and again clear all cache ......u r ready to go...
Hit thanks if helped....

stuck in the recovery mode

i have a lenovo a 7000 and i used kingroot weeks ago then yesterday i tried to download and install an update for the system but when it rebooted it showed me the main menu . the lenovo recevory menu and iam only allowed to reboot or to power off or swipe the data and there is an option to install the update package .zip from the sdcard but it didn't work . please any one help me here . i can't do any thing
You could try to flash the original stock ROM via adb because your system is not working properly. Search for "how to install stock via adb for lenovo a7000' or try to perform a factory reset.Or you could download the stock ROM and name it update.zip and transfer that to your SD card and install the stock ROM.

How To Root Infocus M680 Marshmallow ROM

As with all Marshmallow ROMs or firmware, rooting is basically via a custom recovery as explained in Chainfire's 'systemless' root.
A good number of InFocus M680 users have been looking to find root solutions for their recent Marshmallow update. I've noticed this in many Android forums.
Follow the guide below to your Marshmallow firmware with ease.
Download and flash TWRP 3.0.2 on your device from Mod edit ppc links removed
Download SuperSu zip package
Power off your phone completely and wait a few seconds
Boot into recovery mode by holding power button + volume up
From TWRP screen, select Install and choose the SuperSu zip file you copied to the root of your sdcard
Swipe to flash the SuperSU package and wait for it finish flashing
Once complete, reboot your phone to system
Done
Unable to boot into recovery mode

[RECOVERY] [PHILZ] Infinix Zero 4 X555

Hi there!
Because lack of the development at this device. I try to make a little work for this infamous device.
This is a custom recovery for Infinix Zero 4 based on PhilZ Touch Recovery version 6.59.0. You can use this recovery to flash custom ROMs, root using Magisk or SuperSU and other flashable ZIPs.
[Really] Important - read before flashing
I am not responsible for anything that goes wrong. You are agreed to flash this recovery that will break XOS OTA update, lose warranty and may break your device.
However, I've included stock recovery if you change your mind and want to back to original one.
Instructions:
1. Go to Settings, About Phone, and then tap Software version 10 times. It should now say that you are a developer.
2. Go to Settings, Developer Options. Turn on USB Debugging and Enable OEM Unlock.
3. Install MTK Preloader USB driver, skip if you've already installed this one.
4. Extract PhilZ recovery zip file, and extract
5. Turn off your device.
6. Open SP Flash Tools, locate scatter file to your downloaded zip recovery.
7. Click download, and press VOL DOWN on your device.
8. Turn on your device, press POWER and VOL UP.
9. Your custom recovery has been installed.
Back To Stock
If you decided change your mind by restore stock recovery for reasons such as want to keep your warranty, continue receive OTA update and maybe want to be back on the track, I've also provided stock recovery both Nougat and Marshmallow version.

because the boot isn't patched. you can use Magisk to patch your boot.img and flash it again and it will work.
you can get your boot.img either from your stock ROM where is available at infinixmobility.com or you can use miracle box to extract it from your current installed ROM
