Hi,
I have some basic question on my new smart watch.
1) I was trying to use smart watch as like a normal watch, when it's out of reach (Not paired with mobile) - Is it possible?
2) Looking for a Free "Email Notifier" for Microsoft Exchange emails.
3) Looking for a Free "Gtalk Chat/Gmail Email" Notifier".
Experts please help me with this.
Thanks,
Uday

Hi
1) yes once you've paired it it could work as a normal watch but remember that screen will turn off to save battery (there are apps that make the watch be with the screen on but then it'll drain your battery a really lot.
2) im not sure but i think that the normal email exchange app works with that too if not see 3
3) watch it works with lots of kinds of notifications such as whattsapp and it should work also with gtalk and gmail.
hope i helped somehow

Hi Uday,
As far as 2 and 3:
I think the app you may want is eNotify. It works with Gmail and Exchange. It lets you view the entire email on your watch [if you want]. You're not limited to reading, you can also reply to messages from the watch notification. I'm the author of the app so if you want any help with it give me a ping.
Cheers,
Glen
did you go into your accessibility options and allow watchit! to connect? that's usually what most people overlook.

Hey mates, well we always need to share/send file through mobile device, so what application you use in high frequency?
To me:
WeChat -> send pictures to friends
Bluetooth -> send file to friends/phones
P.S. I want to know more about the way how a file get into mobile, and do better work at file management. Please do help.
I'm usually send pictures and music through WhatsApp, but in my opinion a good way is Dropbox, because through WhatsApp, the audio files doesn't keep the original name and most people don't manage the files in the SDcard as well as the people who are used to be "geek", if you know what I mean, hehehe
I send files with SuperBeam or I upload them to box.com
i use superbeam.
to extract installed apps, i use ES fileManager.
I use MEGA and Whatsapp or Telegram or Gmail
Mega for me

Would be nice if you could send full res photos on whatsapp, but that is never gonna happen. Hopefully Telegram will support this in the future?

I am not able to open zip files in my nexus 5's email app. When i try to open it gives an error saying"Unfortunately, you can't save or open this type of attachment.. Anybody has a solution for this. i have sent feedback to google through that app several times. But no response. I am surprised to know that a smartphone by a stalwart software company like google is facing problem like this. this is not an end to it. Problems like contacts sharing through SMS,native 3G video calling, contact copy to clipboard are also persisting. Isn't google bothered about all these small basic facilities to the users !!! If not then what & how different is it from any other device. in Moto phones some of these features are also lacking, but moto phones are able to open zip files. "
This is the default email client?
Edit > confirmed
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Yes it is the default email client. For using company email ID via outlook i can only configure the inbuilt email app. but this problem is not evident in Gmail app. In gmail app it opens the zip attachment and then gets redirected to the respective app installed on the phone for handling zip files

Hi,
I realized that there's no default email app on my Phab 2 Pro apart from the Gmail app.
I don't want to integrate my POP3/IMAP or Exchange email with Gmail.
What can I use as an email application ?
Thanks.
Nine is the best email app available in my opinion.
you mean there's no email app installed on P2P apart from Gmail ?
And which "Nine" are you suggesting ? Is it the one from "9folders" ?
It seems "Nine" from 9folders is not a free app.
I am looking for a free app as I am used to from all other Android devices.
Why isn't there any free one on P2P ?

You can use it for free without paying for it. I payed the $10 because I wanted to support the dev, but you don't have to. My employees all use it without paying.

I have checked Nine.
It does not support POP3 or IMAP; Only Exchange.
What I want is a simple email client for Pop3 and/or IMAP
Is there any ?

I really need help on this.
There are many email apps on market. But I really need one which is light and good. As in plain android.
I don't understand why P2P does not have one preinstalled.

Sorry, my Phab2 Pro (PB2-690Y) came with a generic email app so, either you have a different phone or you can't see what's in front of your face. Either way, I can't help you

the generic email app on your phone (Phab 2 Pro) takes you to Gmail.
Sorry bud I tried to help you with the only email app that I know of, Nine. As for finding an email that works for you some times you just have to jump in on your own and test apps until you find the one that fits your needs.
Hello,
I noticed that sending mass pictures and videos using Samsung messaging always looks pixelated and blurry (More so videos than pictures). I've tried link share and that always fails. What is the best method everyone is using to share their photos and videos in their full and clear resolution? Iam not interested in flashing or rooting my U.S t-mobile branded Note 20 Ultra and really prefer to stay with the stock Samsung messaging as I like all its other features except for this.
Rooting or flashing? Lol. Are you new to phones? Texting is an old fashioned way of sending media. Don't want compression? Don't text. Use WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, google photos to share your media. Texting will compress the heck out of everything.

I didn't notice this issue using google messaging in the past. That's why I was trying to see if Samsung messaging somehow was the culprit in this case. I do have WhatsApp and Viber but not FB Messenger so I'll check out those two. I'll just have to convince the people on the other end to download those apps I guess. If RCS messaging was standardized across the board by now this problem would not exist. In the mean time Apple has the capable iMessage without any of these issues. By the way I'm not new to phones and a quick search shows a lot of people having the same challenges..

I couldn't get it to work as it kept failing. Most likely because I was impatient and trying to share tons of photos and videos to a bunch of people all at once. I wish there was a better option outside of apps (viber, whatsapp etc) that was built in and wouldn't require people to download any of those..

Unfortunately no. You'll have to upload it to a website with full resolution storage. Imagine if millions of people sent full resolution images, we'd run out of storage in a few minutes lol

1. Download an app called Telegram, the setup process is same as whatsapp. Now the person you want to send it to should also have the app.
2. Then click on the paperclip icon and select "FILE" then select "GALLERY" choose the picture or video you want to send. This way the images and videos would be sent without compression.
If you got an amazon prime subscription, you get unlimited cloud storage for picture in original format and size with their Amazon Photo app. You may then be able to share link through it
I found the way thanks to an Italian friend. If you need to go to a full resolution file with whatsapp just go to the attachment symbol, select documents and then move to the photo folder and select the file. Obviously it will arrive uncompressed but it will load it in more time.
For sharring videos use app Venlow and you will be surprised.

I actually use link sharing. It sends the file to the cloud for a couple days, and creates a link that you can share. The limit on the file size is 5gb.. View attachment 5115885
