I doubt you'll have any luck with that, Tracfone is famous for disabling flash mode and locking bootloader.

You need to be unlocked before you can root.

It cost EUR4 (you need to purchase credit from them) and use their client software to read your X2 bootloader unlock code.
Like you I waited almost a week still no reply from [email protected]m so I resortted to the above. I managed to get my bootloader unlock code and am now preparing to try the unlock method using fastboot oem unlock

Some unlocked phones weren't unlocked properly and actually Sprint models. Essential fixed this recently which caused those phones to be relocked.
Best bet is to get a hold of Sprint or wherever you bought it from. Sounds like that unlock "bug" was there for a very long time.

I called sprint and they told me that my phone is fully unlocked for both domestic and international.

You have a different issue. Your phone is not sprint locked. Your phone is not sim locked, period.
Again, the modemst images used to unlock spr variants were dumped from openus devices.

They most definitely will not unlock a bootloader after locking it in the first place.

Actually, no brand shares the official method for rooting the phone.
The rooting phone is commonly done by dev or advanced user. That's why I wonder if the rooting with the common method will be in use here. Only if we had the official and standalone release for ROM. The risk will be low & the chance will be high.
