LAUNCHER INFORMATION
Cyanide launcher is an android home app based on Launcher3 google source code. This app aims to offer a stable place to base you main android workload while also offering as much customization and personalization as possible without sacrificing memory/battery of course
This thread needs some work I'm sure, will clean this all up nice shortly
There are two links below, first is to the actual launcher and the second is the donate key for the app which enables just a few extra features(Four I think)
Currently only support android 6.0+, I plan 5.0 support but not sure beyond that
Downloads are here:-----> Cyanide Launcher

Edit:- Didn't read the OP first.....sry
Hello Sir bought the pro version and really like it was using Nova Prime before. One thing I wish it had would be the ability to hide apps in the app drawer. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

Friend had this issue on his 1+, stock DPI is incorrect for those devices. I'll move the options soon but slightly adjust your dpi and you'll get the icon
I'm on a og Droid turbo my stock dpi is 640 I believe.
Really don't want to change the dpi some other apps are affected by this guess I'll just wait for the settings to be moved.

Haha, yea I wouldn't change and KEEP mine either, I'm just saying you can hide your apps and go back if needed. Obviously this is obnoxious and I'll fix it when I finish a couple things I'm toying with but within a week you'll be good to go
new update is up on the playstore!

OK now I can see the advanced settings but when I try to hide apps from the drawer it force closes?
Hey ! Unread counter present in this launcher?

The Launcher app is quite sleek and simple... I loved the UI of it and the gestures are too helpful. I just want to share one problem....
i have Galaxy Chat B5330 (4.1 JB OS) with me., n post installing this app, everything else worked like a charm, it was the message icon on the homescreen which is my problem..
Whenever I try opening the messsages using the icon, The launcher crashes at an instant, but when I try opening the messagebox through
App>>Textra( i have disabled the default msg app of my ph.) , the launcher doesnt crash at all.....
Can U pls tell me what could be the problem......???

Nice effort. Congrats on being featured. Gave it a try but, black/dark backgrounds aren't supported because your text is hardcoded to black.
If this is fixed it's usable for me and a considerable option. Otherwise it ain't.

Thanks for the response, yeah I figured that as well, it was only meant for the default app only, so I simply enabled it back, and now I m thoroughly enjoying it...
But I have a suggestion for you as well --
You must try that the icon on the homescreen should point to any alternate app and not just the default android apps...
If that could be done please do so, cz that would definitly help many users like me...!!
Eagerly waiting for such feature...
Gud luck :good: and keep making nice apps like this..! !

Oh cool gonna try this out now
I am very excited to share my app called Icondy
This app will merge the many icon packs into one icon pack.
In simple words, using this app user can create their own icon packs and apply the same via the supported third party launchers.
For example if user have icon pack 1 and icon pack 2 , but using any launcher user can apply only one icon pack.
But using this app user can choose some icons from icon pack 1 and icon pack 2 and create the new icon pack.
NOTE: There are so many similar icon packs available in the play store, but mostly none of the icon packs theme all the application, one icon pack theme a,b, c application and other icon pack theme d,e,f application. what if user has installed a,b,c,d,e,f application but want to theme all the icons means he can use any one of the icon pack , here comes this app handy and useful.
Requirements
★ Third party launchers
★ Iconpacks User must have installed minimum two iconpacks.
Supported Launchers
★ Lucid
★ Nova
★ Apex
★ Action
★ Go
★ Solo
★ Smart
★ Aviate
★ Next
★ KK
★ Nine
★ Unicon
★ ADW
★ Almost all launchers which has iconpack support.
How to use
★ Create the iconpacks using this app.
★ User Must have installed one of the supported launcher listed above.
★ Go to the supported launcher then apply the Icondy Iconpack.
Get Icondy on play store for automatic update
Get Icondy Pro on play store
Pro version unlocks the fallowing premium features in the free Icondy App.
★ Create unlimited icon-packs.
★ Choose more than two icon-packs for blending.
★ Modify unlimited default icons.
★ All the premium filters will be available.
★ Create unlimited APK file
★Advanced iconpack will be available.
★Select icon from any iconpack.
★Select icon from gallery/internal storage.
If you find any bugs please report here.
I will support u ASAP.

A lot of the big name launchers are pressured into redoing their launchers from launcher 2 base to the new launcher 3 base. Which in my opinion is a huge step backward, Nova just relessed his materinova like 3 weeks ago, he's still trying to appease everyone and implement all the previous features into the new build. Just bad timing for you, lol. I've already seen people ask the dev of nova to update to the android M launcher which isn't even official yet. Lol. Only thing we can do is email the devs asking to implement this request. Thanks for this cool feature, hopefully devs will implement it soon.
LEGALIZE IT.
Mattias Duarte ruined android. Material design sucks.
As an Icon Pack creator/designer, I'm wondering if people could be able to create a new apk or something with the combined icons, and redistribute it.
In that case, this is really bad in terms of legal stuff because of some paid icon packs.
really very nice and practical app.
Is it possible to add the possibility to select own icons for an app ?
There are always some apps you can´t find icons for .
it would be awesome :good:

I have API for this app and explained in this thread
Please ask you're launcher developer to use api to support this app.
I'm slightly confused as to exactly what this does. I have a series of iconpacks named Chromeatlix. If I were to rename all of my drawables to the naming convention that you have, it is my understanding that a user who has multiple packs from this series could then have multiple variations applied throughout? This is not a slam against your work but how is this different from how most launchers work in allowing users to select different iconpacks icons ...thus allowing multiple variations for individual icons? Does this allow for a random setup, ie..phone from one pack, contacts from another, etc. automatically?

This is already implemented for all devices with 7.1+, backporting to previous versions is currently not planned as it would impact performance quite a lot.
Any chance we can get notification badge support?

Hi. Can not resize Google search widgets.
This is a nice launcher! Reminds me of Xposed GEL Settings. I do have one feature request, only if possible: maybe a feature to set a custom icon per app? To clarify, I like to mix and match icons from different icon packs.

Fantastic launcher! It works really great, you did a great job. The only thing that I am missing is weather widget, like in Rootless Pixel Launcher. It just shows date, but no weather, and when I switch to rootless pixel launcher, weather widget works (android 6). Everything else is perfect!
WOW!!! Your app really comes with complete package.... I still wish you can implement force touch on Marshmallow devices...
Thank for the great app.

Not an app for me then, it seems. Good job on making this though~
Removed Sign In with Google account. 1.1 Beta version it's available for everyone from XDA Labs
I tried it ,it's just awesome,I have few suggestion
1.width of trigger area must be increased in phones where there is on screen navigation button cause while trying to open the panel, clicking of the back or home or recent buttons occur
2. Please add feature like opening apps or shortcuts into the panel
Bugs :Google search is not searching at all, need that feature to work very handy
Love this app and hope to see it grow

Thanks! Why is it not an app for you?
It is an app,
I told to add panel to add our favorite apps to easily open other apps
Very quick way to switch between apps
And the width of trigger area is very important, cause I keep pressing nav bar button while trying to trigger it

Sorry I was replying to another comment! Thanks for trying the app and for giving suggestions, I can try to add a way to customize handle width and about switching between apps will be more complicated but not impossible
Please just take a try of adding feature of switching apps and the Google search opening nothing, fix that Google search too,it's cool tool
Thank you for developing this app

@alecot18
Love to have an option so that we can swipe down to hide it and the close button should be replaced with some icon like down arrow.
Hope you should implement these things.
I like this app very much :good:

From quick look, there was no direct way of applying icons. I will look at it over the weekend and update

Unfortunately even after spending few hours, there is no way to apply icons automatically. You may want to reach out to author and ask to enable intents . If they do, then I can add support.

I'm not sure if this exists or is achievable but it would be great to be able to apply a pre-defined wallpaper also.
