Not an app for me then, it seems. Good job on making this though~

Removed Sign In with Google account. 1.1 Beta version it's available for everyone from XDA Labs

I tried it ,it's just awesome,I have few suggestion
1.width of trigger area must be increased in phones where there is on screen navigation button cause while trying to open the panel, clicking of the back or home or recent buttons occur
2. Please add feature like opening apps or shortcuts into the panel
Bugs :Google search is not searching at all, need that feature to work very handy
Love this app and hope to see it grow

Thanks! Why is it not an app for you?

It is an app,
I told to add panel to add our favorite apps to easily open other apps
Very quick way to switch between apps
And the width of trigger area is very important, cause I keep pressing nav bar button while trying to trigger it

Sorry I was replying to another comment! Thanks for trying the app and for giving suggestions, I can try to add a way to customize handle width and about switching between apps will be more complicated but not impossible

Please just take a try of adding feature of switching apps and the Google search opening nothing, fix that Google search too,it's cool tool
Thank you for developing this app

Love to have an option so that we can swipe down to hide it and the close button should be replaced with some icon like down arrow.
Hope you should implement these things.

[WIDGET] Simple Search Widget

I really like the style of the Google search widget on ICS, but I hate it that it opens the search app when clicking on it* instead of just "writing into the widget". Another problem is that most of the time I dont want to search google, but wikipedia instead.
For these two points I made my own search widget, which does all that. It's called "Simple Search Widget" and is available in the Play Store for Android 3.0+:
Download
If the widget doesnt show up in the app drawer, please restart your device once!
If you're using Android 2.x and would like to beta test the app on your device, please use the version attached to this post.
* I know there are a few devices, on which you type directly in the widget on the stock search widget. But from my experience, on most ROMs it just opens the search app

yes this widget has the "write in widget" function (not sure how good this works on android 2.x) and should now also work in 2.2+
great development, me 2 hates d 1st point as u mentioned...
so does this widget has got the option to select search provider or will be added in feature updates
Great idea but without cursor cannot delete if wrong input. Also it's toosmall width wise. Anyway keeping an eye for future updates.
I'm on gingerbread and I've downloaded it and made the widget but when I click on it my keyboard moves my entire screen up and all I can see is my dock.
Come over to the dark side...
Great idea and customization, but on my Android 2.3 the search bar is too narrow. Just a bug update for you, thanks for doing this.

yeah that's how it goes in the 2.x emulators too. i spent the last hours trying to fix that, but it seems that's a 2.x issue. i will release the market version as 3.0+ only therefore

[APP][2.2+]Good Night Android - 1Click night profile. Now supports CM ProfileManager!

Hi Folks!
Tired of switching 7 toggles before going to bed and again when you wake up?
I just added my new app to play store. Basically it's a night profile switcher with a few gimmicks that came to my mind.
Have a look and maybe buy it (think of it as a beer for me )
Check it out on google play!
Of course I'll be around in the thread and you can contact me at [email protected] if you have feature suggestions or want to help me translate.
Free Version available on play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jb.good.night.android.free
Please download, add a review if you like it and maybe consider buying the full version.
It enables you to switch back the profile in the morning via toggle or notification.
+ some new features:
- Toggle data, gps, 2g/3g (custom roms)
- Automatically wake up with alarm clock
- Automatically set the alarm clock for each day of the week
- Scheduled wakeup/sleep time
- Colour changing widget for day/night
- Supports nearly all alarm apps
- powernap mode during the day
- more to come!
Description from google play:
Basic features:
- Widget to toggle day/night mode, which let’s you set&reset
- set a radio profile (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Data, Airplane mode*, GPS**, 2G/3G**)

You can use either the widget or the launcher shortcut to toggle day/night mode. Please note that ONE OF THEM (WIDGET/SHORTCUT) IS REQUIRED FOR THE APP TO DO ANYTHING before rating bad. Instructions how to install the widget or the shortcut can be found in the app (info-tab).
Creative ways to trigger day/night:
As a gesture in a launcher (e.g. double tap, possible in nova launcher prime and others)
As a shortcut on your lockscreen (Not possible on all phones, depends on model & software)
Via DashClock Widget (Extension included in the app)
On certain events (certain location, ..... requires tasker or similar app)

Update to Version 1.1:
Homescreen Shortcut can now toggle day/night mode
Should hit playstore soon.
I would be willing to try if it had a free with ads version, but as it stands i'm not willing to pay $1.47 when I can find a free app that has more options.

Thanks for your feedback.
There's 3 reasons why this app has no ads:
1. Battery life: this app is supposed to be energy efficient
2. You wouldn't really see them as the app itself is just a setup for the shortcut
3. I personally don't like them
As for a free app with same features: i couldn't find an app at all that does exactly what i want, this is why i started this project. But if you found an app please pm me the link.
I really like this app myself and i use it every day. It's slim and as far i could test it absolutely stable. Also it allows quite some customization, what is gonna get even more in future releases.

There's some NEWS!
I decided to add a free version to play store.
It will have limited features (No restore in the morning) and less frequent updates, but it also means that there is at least one version available to people who can't or don't want to use paid apps on play store.
Free version will hit play store this evening, I'll post the link as soon as it's online.
Looking forward to have you onboard!

In your own info in the app you should change the hint too.
I bought your app now.
Can you change the so called widget (shortcut) to another color if the night mode is active?
I assume this would be simple if it is a real widget?
Can you add the version to your info screen?

Fine.
I'm working on the widget thing.
Functionally it's working perfectly, but it turned out to be really hard to support all kinds of screen sizes and dpi values.
If any1 knows a good tutorial on that --> You're very welcome!
You will have to stick with the shortcut for the moment.
I'll keep you updated!

whatsapp and viber don't provide api, the only way the get notified is through accesibility. I'll check how this could be implemented when g+ and twitter is done.

Re: [APP][2.3+] Listener 1beta2 launcher (updated jan.27)
Are you still updating this app? Pretty cool idea and UI. Suggestions:
1) Add Google+, Twitter, and Instagram feeds. (The app says their is twitter, but I can not enable it. Can you make it use falcon pro, the twitter client app)
2) YouTube subscriptions. We add our account and then our YouTube feed comes up in your app. Whenever there is a video in our feed, show the title, who uploaded it, and the video thumbnail. If getting the video thumbnail is hard or impossible, you could just make the picture that comes up with the video be the YouTubers account picture. Also, not asking for it to show an actual video, just the thumbnail and text. Not the description either, it would be too cluttered.
3) Adw icon themes for the app drawer.
Love this app, wish it could be my main launcher but too much force close.
Cheers!
Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
yes, still working on it, busy coding.
g+ and twitter is greyed out as they're no ready yet.
other providers will be added later when every other is working.

Hi, We will provide a direct upload link soon. Thanks.
This works pretty well, my only gripe against this app, it doesn't have a native look and feel about it. Android SDK has made several resources available in the system for developers to allow and app to feel integrated with the system by using the system look and feel. Maybe give us an option to theme the app or fall back to defaults.
By app you mean the settings activity or the Control Center itself?

By app you mean the settings activity or the Control Center itself? Thanks for the suggestion to provide an option to reset to default, you can also clear data in app info activity to clear all the preferences.

I mean the Control Centre itself. Falling back to defaults, meaning using existing system resources as found in every Android rom. This will make it feel much more tightly integated in the system itself. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII, before I had an LG p500, simply because I didnt want an iPhone and as a developer really dislike the platform. That being said, I want my Android device to look like an Android device, if you get my drift.
These resources are available in the android.R. namespace, worth a look.

Nice!
Could you please try to add the option to toggle lockscreen?
Happy to see PowerToggles reborns! Still using PowerToggles. Simple, customizable and the ability to add custom shortcuts (Tasker Task, GravityBox, etc).
Edit: Cool, can import my PowerToggles exports in MicroToggles. Perfect! :good::laugh:
It's asking for Camera & Contacts permissions to use the app itself. But it would be good if asked when related tiles are added to widget.

Power Toggles are back, good old Android times.
Thank you for that.
All the best for the future, I'm here, MicroToggles.
Please add some new Icons, some are out of date.

Sure, I believe it was there, but had to remove it due to some bugs. I will add it.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I have a huge backlog and refresh UI with new icons is top of it.
Man! How nice to see a new (Power)Toggles alive!
It was always very useful not only to me but to all elderly people's mobile that I set. A good widget can let old people life much easier using their smartphone/tablet.
Thanks in advance for MicroToggle. I'll download it right now!
Edit: please consider to publish it on F-Droid (or at least IzzyOnDroid) as soon as you open its source. Besides also XDA Labs ? Thanks!
Good to see PowerToggles back.
Can you add a toggle 2G/3G/4G/5G?
I usually toggle between 2G and 4G networks, thanks
Can add toggle to switch data sim card on dual sim phone?

Sure, I will.
Bluetooth toggle sucks sometimes, stays in the middle state, not active but colored and no function on tap.
crDroid 6.7 Q (LOS), location permission granted.
Following this thread.
Release Alpha2 today on playstore.
* It fixes lot of crashes on various devices.
* Toggles should be cleaner or more sharper (moved away from some of the old icons)
* Started refreshing UI components (WIP). More to come.
Thanks

Would be better!
Thanks for this useful app! I am actually thinking about replacing the Android quick toggles with MicroToggles
May I propose two new features?
1) Battery voltage
2) A toggle to open Android settings
