I installed a stable CM7 mod and yesterday RC3 experimental mod, but I'm having the same issue with either of them and that is: incoming calls speaker volume is always on MAX, if I put it on the lowest setting with buttons it's still on the max volume.
I'm not having this issue with calls that I dial.
please help me out, as everything else works super stable...
thanks in advance

I'm experiencing exactly the same. I believe it's a bug in CM7, but I'm not sure if it happens in predictable way. I'm just trying CM9 Alpha build right now and will tell you if the issue is solved there.
Hi all,
I got an issue with my One S and I'm starting to wonder if it's just mine or not, since it's quite annoying but I haven't heard about it from anyone else.
When you are in a call, and using a wired headset (stock one or not, doesn't matter), are you able to change the volume with the volume keys?
On mine, I'm not. The volume slider moves, but it has no effect. The sound is REALLY LOUD and I can't change it. With some people it's almost impossible to use my headset because it is so loud.
Do you also have the same issue?

Thanks lufc for the move to the proper section
Anyone having the same issue? Or are yours all ok?
I am having the same issue on all Jelly Bean Touchwiz roms with audio playing. When I have my headphones plugged in and music playing through samsung sound player, apollo, or beyond pod etc., and I turn the screen off, the music will start playing out of the speaker on the phone and not the headphones. I need to turn the screen back on pause it and play it again with the screen on.
This is a really annoying issue, especially when using the phone for music at work. Does anyone know why this occurs or how to fix it?
thanks
YES. I keep having this problem as well! I also have a problem on occasion where a track will play through and stop at the end. The only way to move on to the next track is to turn the screen back on. (where normally the next track on the album would play)
Glad other people are experiencing it as well, I would like a dev to comment on the issue if any are experiencing this.

How to increase volume on android phone?
Okay so I have an Huawei ascend y600. All in all its a good phone except for the sound. The sound on this phone is absolutely terrible. It's completely low even when plugged into headphones the volume is so low that you would think the volume level is near empty when it's actually full. I don't know why they decided to make the volume so low and I've downloaded countless equalizers to try make louder with no success. What can I do to fix this? I have even rooted my phone to try find a solotuion
Hi,
Since you're rooted, you can install this sound mod to increase the speaker gain:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Software Development > [APP] Official ViPER4Android Audio Effects (FX v2.3.3.0)
If you have any further query regarding this device, you can ask it over here:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android General > Huawei Ascend G600 (U8950D) Help Thread (ROMs, Mods etc.)
Good Luck!
Thank you. Thread closed!
I'm sorry if i violate rules and terms. But I'm new here. Using xposed with Gravity Box module on kitkat. I have forced media volume control where my volume keys only control media volume and not ringer volume. successfully activating, hours later, my ringer volume reduces to just 1% and i just always gotta keep increasing em. Could it be module needs update or so or I didn't get something right, and if so, can I be heard out from this forum. please, I really like gravity box, helping me a lot but this little bug right now is really freaking me out. Thanks.
Still, nobody tryna help. ?
