Hi guys do you think our mate 9 will get upgraded to 7.1?Searched Google but nothing comes up.cheers
Yes I do.
I do not tbh. I expect one or two minor EMUI 5.x releases and a straight jump to Android O with EMUI 6.
But hey just guessing here.

But will we all still be using the Mate 9 by then?
I think it will or get 6.0 next year

u know that's for p8 and p8lite right? p8max has the code DAV-70xL and there is only one leak of marshmallow beta, which turns out to be a super buggy release on the fourms....

Try a factory reset and if that does not work, downgrade to LP.

Then for sure (imo) it's a hardware problem but may be someone else can elaborate a bit more.

Try a hard reset.Keep in mind that mali-t624 is 4 year old gpu+1080p resolution and it shows its age.But still, all games should work well on low-medium.
BTW are you sure you are on emui 4.1?4.0 is the newest version that honor 6 supports.

4.0.1 ≠4.1
Dev version is really 4.0.1
Wait for custom rom or else we have no choice to buy another phone
Hi.
I got an official nougat update today but I definitely don't like new emui 5.0 and want to go back to previous version.
Is there any way to do it (I prefer official solutions).

for a moment i thought you meant that it was official that Android 10 would not be the last OS upgrade.
not a complete shocker, considering that the official huawei time table lists december for mate 20 series official upgrade thx for the confirmation!

Well! It is still fine with this 1st release of EMUI 10 rather than stuck at EMUI 9.1!
I have no complaint about it! Let's just wait for the final (full proved) version of EMUI 10 in December 2019!

I hope you're not waiting on a colorful AOD.
I'm staying on 9.1 and this time it's forever [emoji1787] joke.
