Staorage issues on lineage 14.1 falcon - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I'm stuck with a XT 1033 that has no access to external storage (emulated sd card).
Just flashed latest nightly, then Gapps. Phone booted perfectly, but I can't save anything to sdcard.
If I connect the phone to laptop, windows explorer show me the phone, show its internal storage, but it is read only.
The only way to save something in internal storage is restarting in TWRP then connecting to laptop. This is the way I used to save the supersu zip to flash it...
Guess it has something to do with permissions, but I'm pretty lost here, and I couldn't find help for it in other threads.
Could someone help me, please?

Driving me NUTS! Cant see rom on SD card

Hi All,
I'm not sure if Im overlooking something here, but I'm trying to flash a rom to my G2 phone.
I rooted it and confirmed it and installed Rom manager. I backed up my system. I download the rom to my PC and transferred it to the root of the SD card. But I go looking for it, and its not there.
If I browse my files from the PC as USB storage, its not there though I could see Windows transferring a little over 300Mb. I tried renaming it, setting it up in a different folder, nothing. It wont show up on the SD card. Its an HTC sense .zip file rom.
I'm stumped. I was happy everything was going as it should, then boom, I cant find it on the SD card. I even tried a different SD card.
Any opinions?
Thanks,
Chip

TWRP issue

Rooted my phone and currently have TWRP works great, BUT I have started getting that "insufficient memory" warning. I checked my memory, and have 4.00 GB out of 16.0. Check my files and noticed that TWRP is 6.20 GB. I tried moving it to my SD card but it did not work..
HELP..I donot want to unroot my phone
Thanks
Peter

It sounds to me that TWRP is taking up 6.2GB of your internal memory, leaving 4GB free space, and when you try to do another backup you get the "insufficient memory" warning. Since you cant move it to your external SD card, I would try connecting the phone to the computer and transferring it over to the computer via MTP. After you copy it over, you could just delete the TWRP folder on your internal memory and it should work fine for more backups. I've always struggled with making TWRP backups because I've never bothered to get a bigger external SD card. I've always had to shuffle things around between my PC & the phone's memory to make things fit.
Twrp
So TWRP will effectivly stay on my pc, and if I need it, I can transfer it back to my phone..Do I erase it from my phone.
Thanks for your help

Moto G LTE is not recognizing MicroSD

Hi, I bought a Moto G XT1040 and it came with bootloader unlocked and CM12 Nightly. It worked fine, my SD card was recognized and stuff. I installed MixZing player and sometimes the app crashed and had some problems with the SD but then it worked again after a few mins. Suddenly the micro SD stop being recognized... now I can't browse my files or anything, but I think the problem is not the mSD 'cause I can browse it on recovery mode. I updated the ROM via the automatic updater and still doesn't work (Now I have CSM 12-20150126-NIGHTLY-peregrine, kernel 3.4.42-gfaa9160 build02, BASEBAND MSM8926BP_101.90.4901R). I don't know what to do. Can I install another ROM from the internal memory? (I can't put ROMs in my mSD 'cause I have no way to access it).
Help pls.

No Internal SD, TWRP shows internal storage (0mb)

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Well I'm guilty of reading around for a while, but this is my first post! I'm using the LG G3 from AT&T (D850 10f) still on stock kitkat ROM. I rooted the phone through stump bruteforce and then tried to flash TWRP (bump) as per this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-lg-g3/orig-development/bump-unlock-lg-g3-twrp-t2900569
However, I think I may have put the image file in the external SD instead of the internal SD. Now I can't see the internal SD card partition on the internal storage (not sure it was there to begin with) and when I load TWRP and try to create a backup it shows: Internal storage (0mb).
I tried to create a backup on the external SD but it goes through the whole process and fails in the end (no surprises there).
Anyone ever face this, know how I can fix this? I haven't slept much just been reading and scanning through the forum trying to find a solution.
TIA.
Alright, all fixed! I guess I was too sleepy doing this yesterday, I basically unrooted my phone and did it right this time.
On CM12.1 now!

Why doesnt twrp work when my i set my sd card as internal storage?

Hi new poster here,
So i have an t mobile lg g3 and i got the marshmallow/lg g5 rom. I got a new sd card and set it as my internal storage for more space but now whenever i try to go into recovery mode, twrp doesnt load. I messed around with it a few times and found that twrp works fine if I set my sd card as portable storage but it wont load when its set to internal storage. Id like to have my sd card set to internal storage and be able to go into twrp at the same time. Ive tried looking for answers online for hours and i cant seem to find anything on my specific issue. Any ideas what i should do to fix this problem?
