935u snapdragon variant section - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Guides, News, & Discussion

There are sections for each if the other 935 variants. The 935u should also have a complete section dedicated to it as it just went on sale recently in the u.s. and has opportunities for development. Moreover, other variants are benefiting from the 935u firmware so independent development of this variant could further help the other variants. Can a moderator create a complete section dedicated to this variant (similar to the attention aND Verizon sections) instead of it being folded into the snapdragon processor or general sections?

[MetroPCS] Where does it belong?

You guys split SGS3 forums into AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, but leave out all other carriers. So where exactly does MetroPCS belong??
T-Mobile bought and owns MetroPCS. However, T-Mobile uses GSM while MetroPCS uses CDMA. Their SGS3 variants are not compatible.
When MetroPCS users root or flash their SGS3 phones, they usually use the files/packages for Verizon.
Specs-wise, Sprint's SGS3 variant and CDMA are closest to MetroPCS. But for some reason I've never seen anyone uses a package for Sprint on MetroPCS phones.
So should I post in the T-Mobile, Verizon or Sprint forums if I have a question about rooting??

[Completed] ZUKZ1 in Canada (4G)

So i am considering buying this phone, but I have only 1 concern about lte on this website: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_230088.html it says that 4f bands are only:FDD-LTE 1800/2100/2600MHz, so will it work in Canada?? I checked http://maps.mobileworldlive.com/ and It only compatable with 2100, no 1700 is it fine if I only have 1?

[Completed] Increasing the supported bands or frequency on Chinese phones?

Hey all,
So I recently have been looking into Chinese phones and have realized that there are some great competitively priced phones on the market, in particular I am interested in the Lenovo Lemon k3. However I have T-mobile, which support Bands 2, 4 and 12 for 4G LTE, most Chinese phones however do not support those bands. I was wondering if its possible to root and then mod any of these phones to support all Bands, I dont want to buy one and be stuck using 2G coverage.
Thanks,
