Samsung appears to be dead :( help - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi, my Samsung s7 has been having issues since the nougat update, every so often the phone would reboot by itself for no reason and since yesterday the phone will no longer boot into the system at all it crashes when the Samsung logo comes on, I've tried to install a ROM through Odin with the same effect and I can't get into recovery as the device crashes before the options come up, the blue led stays on blue and if I try to put into download or boot more than 3 tines the phone hangs on a blank screen and does not respond at all I have to wait for the battery to die before I can try again, what could be the issue?

Why asking help here.seems that you have to send it to service?

Hmm.. That's sort of a last resort since I have limited cash to sort my phone out.. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before since I can't figure it out for myself

Does it have a MicroSD card inserted?
Try without that in case that's causing problems
Crashing in download mode doesn't sound good though, as that is not part of the ROM/Firmware, it's equivalent would be similar to a PC crashing while in the BIOS

Hi thanks I've tried that as well but doesn't seem yo fix anything, it doesn't crash in download mode it crashes when attempting to boot into the os and crashes in recovery mode, I can install the os via Odin but as soon as the os is ready to boot it crashes

Not that I know of, I had to download it off another site since Sam mobile wasn't working at the time I hope Sam mobile works tonight

Make sure you're using CSC in ODIN to perform the full reset after the flash

Unfortunately that didn't solve anything tried to reinstall with 3 different os and still crashes at boot sigh.... Looks like the phone is busted and never going to be repairable, think I'm not going yp be owning a Samsung ever again since they always seem to fail on me grrr...

It should still be under warranty as long as you didn't void it with KNOX 0x1

It has been tripped with Knox I flashed a wrong firm ware it said it was official but it was rooted

With ODIN?
Didn't think it was possible to flash custom firmware with ODIN

Yeah it was modified firmware, anyways this can be closed as the motherboard on the phone was faulty so I sold the phone for spares as it can't be fixed if this happens to anyone else just go to Samsung and if you've tripped knox just sell it as it can't be fixed.

[Q] Verizon Samsung Galaxy SIII (SCH-1535) BOOT LOOPED, LOST RECOVERY AND OS!!

HELP!!!
About 1 month ago, my Galaxy S3 running 4.4.2 (Completely stock: no root, rom, or custom firmware), suddenly got into a boot loop about 3 weeks after receiving the 4.4.2 update. At first, it would boot up completely into the OS, then shut down before I even had time to enter PIN. Sometimes, after shutting down, it would restart by itself, but only on some occasions. I was able to enter and constantly use recovery and download mode with no shutdowns, so it wasn't a battery problem, instead a software/firmware one. I found that if the phone was plugged in while booting, I was able to use the phone with no problem, but it shut off as soon as the charger was removed. I then factory reset it, wiped the cache and such, but the problem still persisted. After about not touching it for a week, the phone wouldn't even make it past the first Samsung boot animation and jingle without turning off. However, the plugging in method would make it go further into the boot sequence, but it still wouldn't boot into the OS. After leaving it alone for one more week, I then LOST RECOVERY ACCESS! It would boot up to the android figure, but shut off immediately. I was able to access download mode, and therefore, tried to flash an earlier firmware with ODIN.
The phone was recognized by ODIN, but the flashing process failed. I first tried to root the stock ROM, but ODIN couldn't find the recovery. I then tried to downgrade my firmware to 4.1.2. I got a FAIL message on my PC and an error message on the phone (in ODIN mode) saying, " SW REV CHECK FAIL: FUSED 2 BINARY 0" Now every time I try to turn on the phone, it goes straight into ODIN mode, and it shows the message, : Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please use Software Repair Assistant & try again" with an image of a phone and PC linked together, but being interrupted by a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it.
HELP ME PLEASE. I LOVE THIS PHONE AND I STILL HAVE A WHILE UNTIL I CAN GET A NEW ONE!!!!
Is your phone still under warranty with your wireless carrier? If it is, you may want to contact the customer support department. You may be able to get a new phone as a warranty replacement.

I would love to help, but please help me first. how do you claim to have 4.4 kitkat when for the i535 there is confirmed to only be 4.3 for a stock OS? this will make a big difference in the outcome of who can help you. Google and android both confirm that 4.3 is the last update for this phone coming from verizon. How can you have 4.4 stock with touchwiz and everything? unless you have AOSP, which is another things entirely. this phone does poorly for 4.4 in AOSP because we don't have a proper kernel or baseband for it. it wasn't officially released.
anyway, that is my question to you.

4.4.2 is the latest and probably the last update for the i535. This should fix your problem OP. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2791801
I wish it was.

No, Cindy, it isn't under warranty anymore. It has been more than one year. I wish it was though!

Thank you so much for your help. I flashed the file, and I got recovery back. However, the phone has just returned to the state that this problem begun with. It still goes further into the boot sequence (still won't start) when plugged in, but it will shut off before it finishes and as soon as it's unplugged. It won't even start the sequence without the charger.
Any other suggestions?
Is that so? I had no idea. I was told by Verizon the 4.3 is the last one. I certainly will investigate. On ODIN, make SURE you check the bootloader update option, F. Reset Time, and auto reboot. Otherwise, the bootloader will not allow you to boot.

Firmware upgrade encountered an issue.

I have a galaxy tab 2 GT-P3113.
Currently it will not do much of anything. I have not touched it in months but decided to try again.
In the past I have flashed many roms and kernels on it and even dual booted it at one point.
It became unstable and slow so I put it back to stock firmware. However it was still very slow and unresponsive like an old XP pc.
I don't remember exactly what I was doing but I assume I tried to reflash the stock firmware again via kies and since then it has been basically bricked.
If it does power on it says 'Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again.'
Well I tried kies and get device not responding. When I plug it in to odin it lights up yellow and if I remember correctly it should be green. However I cannot even get it into download mode to use odin. I am afraid I have completely bricked it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

S6 Randomly Turns Off...

Hi
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 running complete stock 5.1.1 G920F.
This happened to me quite a few times over the past few days. It happens sometimes when I am doing something on the phone or the phone is in the pocket.
What happens is that the phone turns off or something of that nature because the only way I can turn it on after this is by plugging it in to charge.
Has anyone else faced the same issue?
Is there a fix.

Plz help, samsung galaxy s7 edge is on continous boot loop

how to i fix my samsung galaxy s7 edge from boot loop
Enter recovery, power and volume up.
Enviado do meu SM-G935F através de Tapatalk
You need to know the button combos.
S6 + S7 Button Combos
If you are in a bootloop, press Power + Vol down simultaneous to force a reboot and when it reboots switch fast to Power + Home + Vol up to go into recovery where you can restore or flash a new rom.
Or you go into Download mode with Power + Home + Vol down in the same way and flash a stock rom over Odin. :highfive:

I've got same issue here. Phone is in continuous boot loop.
no root, no custom rom, hell I just received the phone a day ago... after initial set up I restarted the phone. The device is stuck in boot loop since...
I tried flashing latest stock ROM including Bootloader and CSC via Odin... I get a PASS! but stay in bootloop
Any suggestions? Very frustrating...
My S7e (AT&T) all of a sudden started soft-rebooting yesterday. It would do this about every 60 seconds.
I powered off, waited 30 seconds, and powered back on. No more reboots.
Not sure what happened to cause the reboots, but a hard boot seemed to fix it.

Instead of sending messages overhere: back to the shop where you bought it and demand a new one!

Got it with a contract, pretty sure they will send it in instead of giving me a new one. But it looks like i do might have to send it in ... although I really, really prefer not to. It is easter holidays, so shops closed, but even when they reopen... I'd be left without a phone for the time
Have you tried Kies? That would be official.

Doogee mix 2 Soft Bricked

it's in nothing but boot loop, where it just keeps restarting over and over and nothing else but if I connect it to computer I can put it into service mode well the screen stays black on phone but at this point only option left is to flash STOCK ROM with SP Flash Tool Software i believe but i'm not very familiar, no others options left but that far as i know?.. oh yeah almost forgot, my phone info is: Doogee Mix 2 the 6gbram+64gbrom Ceramics Black Variant..
any ideas guys?.. any help would be much appreciated indeed.. even just the link or something for STOCK ROM at least to recover this beautiful phone.. please believe me when i tell you coming from samsung models long time this much better phone basically no bloatware that i could find other than just few google apps its pretty much STOCK android...
