Samsung Cloud bloatware - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Is there any way to disable Samsung Cloud bloatware ?
Since android 7.0 can't do anything to disable notifications from this, even if disabled all possible backups triggers. They still want force me to do something with this when i don't want.

What verizon apps are safe to delete!

Hey, guys, when I get my S3 on Wednesday, I'm going to root it ASAP.
I want to remove as much bloatware as I can without losing the cool and useful things Samsung has added to their UI. Like S-voice the eyeball watching thing, the gestures etc are all things I want to keep.
What I don't want is verizon nag screens and useless apps and adware that they put on.
Any suggestions or point me to a thread where this is already talked about?
Geez No response yet? I would like to know this as well....
Id like to know to. In the mean time, I just hid them. There was only 4 apps from VZ and the only one that I use is the mobile hotspot app.
VZ mobile, apps, and nav are hidden and never seem to show up in my running apps.
I've froze in titanium backup without issue so far...
Allshare (All 3 of them)
Amazon Kindle
Apps 3.05.78
ColorGoogle+
Guided Tours
Keis air (Both)
Media Hub
Music Hub
S Suggest
S Voice
Samsung Account
V Cast Tones
Voicemail
VPN Client
VZ Nav
Yahoo (both)
Do either of the Kies apps need to be enabled in order to receive OTA updates?
I would recommend using an app like Titanium Backup that has the capability to freeze applications rather than deleting them, so you can play around with it and disable what you don't use or don't like.
I also recommend using the standard ICS application disabling capabilities first, then using a solution like Titanium Backup for those apps that cannot normally be disabled.
For the record, on my Verizon S3 I have roughly 30 applications frozen/disabled.
I actually worked in the opposite direction. I flashed the stripped version onto my phone and then manually added back the apps that I wanted to keep via Root Explorer. The only apps that I added back were Divx, Video Player, and Music FX. The phone runs fast and battery life has been GODLIKE.

The same for me, in most cases is the Disable button disabled. I haven't root and I wont it yet.
You can use the Debloater app by Gatesjunior to disable them without root.

There is written:

I froze the knock apps/services and things are fine here. I even froze Google news and books cause they came up as 2% battery used when I never even opened them
I lost knox while flashing new kernel. Still no problems.
Freeze Bloatware Apps with Titanium Backup on VZW S6 Edge

I posted a list of apps you can freeze with Titanium Backup on a rooted Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge -- and likely other versions as well -- . I'll update it as needed: http://blog.chadwikdavis.com/disable-freeze-bloatware-vzw-galaxy-s6-edge/ Haven't tried with Debloater but I expect you won't have issues there either with just those basic bloatware apps.
I'm nervous to disable too many things. Better to go with a bare-bones custom ROM than risk breaking an important service on your phone. If you're like me, you just want to optimize the speed, performance and battery life on your yearly investment in these mini-supercomputers.
Do the ANT apps affect the hardware heart-rate sensor or does it only disable the wireless antenna for wearable tech?

How to debloat - what to unistall and replace for clean android?

Hi everyone, i got an s7 flat plus the keyboard cover. I always used cyanogen or pure android moto devices and i can't stand samsung's interface, even if it's better than ehat it used to be.
The keyboard is key for me so I dont want to install another rom, because it will probably not work, it seems baked into the OS.
I will install the Android N theme, chrome, google now launcher, contacts, calendar. Anything else? Can i remove all samsung apps by simple uninstall or do i need to root the device? I would like to get rid of know, the browser, etc. but not sure if I should get greenify. Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks
You can disable bloatware apps with Package Disabler Pro.
You can at least disable a lot of apps (samsung / facebook stuff too) within app manager, that is already on your device.

Samsung A51 Custom OneUi (lightweight) no bloatware

So, I was looking for a custom One Ui rom without all the bloatware such as AR, Bixby, Netflix etc...
But still maintaining the overall features of the device of the phone itself and it's hardware.
To my surprise, I did not find anything as such.
I've only found an AOSP but that's lacking, i can't even get magisk to work on the AOSP that's available for the Samsung A51.
I also didn't have any luck with "deleting" the apps through ADB or 3rd party apps. It doesn't delete the apps properly, it just hides 'some' of the apps from me which is not the goal at all.
The reason why I'm asking is because I don't see the need why certain unnecessary apps (such as Bixby) need all permissions which I can't even disable.
I also don't need apps like Facebook and Netflix on my device.
Please let me know if there is any custom rom available?

How could I prevent annoying update pop ups from displaying in samsung apps?

One of the things I do on all my samsung phones is use ADB to remove bloatware. The galaxy store is one of the things I really dont want running on my phone. Why would I need more than one place to find apps? I usually just download APKs directly.
Anyways, could I uninstall the samsung gallery and camera apps and then reinstall them from an APK? Would that disable the auto update mechanism that causes these stupid orange bubble notifications all over my screen? I have OCD and it really annoys me. Also is there an alternative to the camera app that works for samsung devices? I dislike being nagged all the time to wipe my damn lens.

Paradoxically, app update notifications from Samsung can be turned off in the Samsung store.
If you don't have TWRP on your phone, I would advise against experimenting with uninstalling the gallery and camera, as there is a great deal of dependency of other apps and services on these core apps.
