What's your bootloader name? 4.7/5.5 - Onetouch Idol 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm going to bring up both variants to N. Now I need help from you all. Below are the things I need from you all. Note root is not required
1.) Download terminal emulator
2.) Grab your bootloader name (yes this wasn't set on L but it's set on M.)
getprop ro.bootloader
3.) Attach your stock build.prop
adb pull /system/build.prop
If you see your bootloader name is already posted please refrain from sharing it again.
I'm looking for all 6045 models but US variant. (I have O and I)
I'm looking for all 6039 models I have no info at all.

@Unjustified Dev just to do anything, it needs to be on stock stock ROM or based stock rom? i say this because i have 6045B (Chile/Argentina Variant) using LineageOS 13, and just doing getprop ro.bootloader it says "unkown", so i guess i will need to change the rom

Your phone must have had MM update and you must be using MM bootloader. Doesn't have to be stock but L bootloader did not export this value.

@belkoo
Same problem here with 6045B, didn't got any official MM update, so i will see what the lane says if i install AlekOS Rom (i just went out from LP flashing MM roms, it just that all of them work on the 6045B too lol)

No, I haven't.I heard that if I update to MM I will lost fastboot commands..

@Unjustified Dev
After installing AlekOS rom on my 6045B i got the name
L7VG6060BG00
I attach the build.prop (changed .prop to .text so i could upload it), it should say 6045B on everything it says 6045I
anyways, i will try if Mobile Updagre Q does something for 6045B (maybe the info that i gave is the same for the 6045I instead of 6045B)
EDIT: and it found something wtf, i will see what happens lol

@belkoo it is getprop ro.bootloader
and the adb pull, atleast in my case, i did it from my PC
besides that i'm downloading the software from Mobile Upgrade, i don't know what will happen , i hope not a brick lol

6045Y-Running AlekOS 5.0 (Running 6045I partitions)
Bootloader-L7VG6060BG00
Build.prop-Get It

after using Mobile Upgrade Q, went to lollipop again on 6045B haha, so i guess it doesn't have an official MM update (and as i can see, the info that i gave is the same as Alek gave, so it is related to the rom too)
it is not possible to get this on LP right? i will hope it works on 6045B when you releast it , for now i will be on AlekOS
EDIT: the phone an update itself from 15/12/2016, anyways it is too low for a MM update, anyways i will see how it goes
EDIT2: oh well it was just a OTA for LP, with sec patch of 5/10/2016

[email protected]:/ $ getprop ro.bootloader

@Unjustified Dev well i made to get it on LP, my phone is updated with 10 Oct of 2016 OTA, it says 5.0.2 but it looks like a lot of android 6.0, so i don't know lol
Bootloader 6045B = L7SRV0V0BG00
Build.prop attached (as .txt)
6045B, stock, with 6045B partitions

It only helps if your phone is on MM and you actually are your own stock MM without any modifications.

I mean, seriously, what do you think what an "official" ROM is? There is no "big Google wizard" who says "hell yes, this build is now *official*, certified and licensed", everything comes from the community.
Two examples:
- @dhacker29 committed his device trees to CM, when they approve it, it will become "official"
- The devs from Carbon asked me to upload my stuff to their gerrit, when they approve it, it will become "official"
This is the way how ROMs are brought to many devices. Do you really think all the devs of the ROMs that are ported to many devices can afford all the devices they support?
So please, do us all a favor - go back to stock, this way you can have your "official" build and leave people do their work that they do for free, with the aim to bring interesting stuff to people.

X - Reality Engine
Hi all i've been try to another experience with x-reality engine and i successfully port it to our xperia E3 for all version and type .
but this mod required locked bootloader condition for working correctly and to avoid sony DRM keys issue after unlocking bootloader .
so it's the way..
1. after you download my file copy that file to your external sdcard and extract them, because this on locked bootloader condition you need to install this manually using root explorer or anything else
2. after that copy the files in the app (swiqisettingservice.apk) to the system / app and set permissions be rw-r-r
3. copy the files in the folder etc as be_movie to the / system / etc and set permissions be rw-r-r and folder permissions to copy the files are in the folder permissions and set permissions be rw-r-r
4. copy the files in the folder framework to the / system / framework and set permission be rw-r-r
5. then copy the files in the lib folder (libmbe.so , libmbeparamselector.so, libswiqisettinghelper.so) to the / system / lib and set permission be rw-r-r
6. if it is added in your build.prop this script
ro.service.swiqi3.supported = true
persist.service.swiqi3.enable = 1
after all reboot your xperia and see this option on settings - display
And this for review image without x-reality engine
and this for review image with x-reality engine
nah have you see the big different? have try yaa
here's for download link
NOTE: THIS ONLY COMPATIBLE FOR LOCKED BOOTLOADER ONLY, IF YOU ON UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER CONDITION. TRY WITH YOUR RISK

Btw, when I ever said if unlocked bootloader must flash moviepatch.zip? I think I'm never recommend or suggest like that? From where did you know that? If you already restore TA partition just do flash with PC companion again and re root your device, and this mod will work perfectly. For CWM installation that need unlocked bootloader condition but that's not sign this mod can only installed on recovery mode. This will work if you only copy and replace some file/folder in your /system.

Do I have to override some files, because a couple of files you provided already exist in appropriate folders? If I don't override those files and set permissions for the rest i don't have X Reality in Display menu in settings...
Edit: I have to reboot the phone, not soft reboot.. Thank you

About newer MTCE firmware versions to flash

Hello, everybody,
I have a couple of doubts that for more than I have searched, both in google and forums, I have not been able to find out.
Recently I bought an Isudar Head Unit (this -> https://es.aliexpress.com/item/Android-7-1-1-Two-Din-7-Inch-Car-DVD-Player-For-FORD-Focus-S-MAX/32808228875.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.3da263c0xgGxNv) which had installed the MCU with version "MTCE_GS_3.01_3" and I installed the version "MTCE_GS_3.07". On the other hand I had installed the Android compilation "PX30 8.1.0 OPM8.181105.002 eng.htc.20181224.174229".
My question is, which Android update can I install from here https://yadi.sk/d/umCvHqCDzHccr/RockChip%20PX30%20%20Android%208.1 ? I thought I understood that I can install any of them. Is that right?
Can I also install the existing version of Android 9 (https://yadi.sk/d/umCvHqCDzHccr/RockChip%20PX30%20%20Android%209) ?
Thank you very much in advance
In view of that you have a PX30 with MTCE_GS it should be possible to install your stated Android 8 roms for GS.
Android 9 should go too.
All at your own risk!!!

Thank you @le_mi for your reply [emoji1]
May be I'll Will try to install Android 9 but first I want to know how to reinstall the actual version if something goes wrong [emoji6]
On the other hand, recently I read this post of Malaysk:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=79328013
So I understood I could install any PX30 MTCE Android 8.1 rom.
Can you confirm this? [emoji28]

Sure i think too you can install every rom but maybe there are different options in the setting of each rom. There only helps try out but you can flash back if there are some faults.
Wich Android 9 you want install? Stock or custom?

Well, in principle, I'm going to try this one (https://yadi.sk/d/umCvHqCDzHccr/RockChip PX30 Android 9/GS) that matches my MCU version, and I think is a Stock one.

I'm very lazy and I haven't tried to root the unit yet
but if I could flash a newer 8.1 stock rom, although from a diferent manufacturer (my unit is GS, and I flash a HXD one)
So I have been able to verify that although the MCU always has to be from the same manufacturer, the Android seems not to be necessary.

I just had to rename the file to update.zip on the HA file after I extracted, in case anyone else asks. I also have to figure out how to root mine as well, so if anyone has info for that I'd be interested....
Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I found a possible root method. I would have to write the code into the update.zip and repack it then flash again. Even if that does gain root access, that still doesn't solve a custom recovery so I can flash zip files like magisk and Xposed.

One question, what was the original name of the file? Because I'm pretty sure isn't a name problem, because the recovery recognoice it well and try to flash it. But the problem is that the recovery can't open the file, so, as I said before, I think that your file is corrupted

Hi,
Did you manage to get Android 9 working on your PX30 unit? I have tried several times with different versions (GS, HA, LM, etc) but keep on getting the same error like you did.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

@IProfessor Thank you for the hint to use the HiSuite Proxy SW, it looks really good.
But I have one question.
I searched in the TEAM MT Database for the wanted Firmware. I took the Version SHT-AL09C432B163 (8.0.0.163) (FullOTA-MF).
I get the following files from the filelist: (the links are in this Post, I'm not allowed to make a new entry with external links)
- update.zip
- update_full_SHT-AL09_hw_eu.zip
- update_data_full_public.zip
Can you say me how do I have to insert these three links in the HiSuite Proxy software?
Or where I can find the links I need?
I have to downgrade to version B163 or below.
Devicedata:
Model: SHT-AL09
Build-Number 9.10.0334 (C342E3R1P3)

I can confirm you that downgrade is possible, I've tried with my Mate 10 Pro and the update appeared. But I don't know how to use the other two packages in the build, I think it's better to don't go forward because if we don't understand exactly what HiSuite wants we could brick the device.
Little hint: if HiSuite still doesn't see any upgrade check Rollback Os or Developer Os on HiSuite proxy and when HiSuite shows there are no update click switch to another version

Apparently roll back roms are consist of two files only, CUST And Preload ex:
http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G3501/g1699/v339009/f1/full/filelist.xml ( Named as BLA-L29-CUST 9.0.0.2(C185) )
http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G3501/g1699/v308870/f1/full/filelist.xml
( I've got those from official requests of HiSuite )
If you can find such files for your phone I guess then you just have to put them in the app and keep url of Base rom empty.
if no then you could go by the other way, System Recovery
Pick a full rom, CUST and prelaod of it, boot into fastboot and let it do the job ( notice that I guess you'll lose your internal data in this process )
I've tried finding rom for your phone, that's 8.0, unfortunately I couldn't find a 8.0 CUST neither 8.0 Preload for any region of your phone...
Though I found a full package for your phone, versioned as 8.0, you might try that alone in reovery mode it will either work or bug it up, wanna risk for the sake of science? :silly:
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1943/g1719/v200086/f1/full/changelog.xml
( Though as it's one filelist that includes several zip packages, I guess hisuite gonna bring all of those and make it work out for them )

Yes if it's softbricked (fastboot works) you'll be able to recover it as I did.
If you want to update there's no way for ALP-L09 because Huawei didn't release emui 10 firmwares

It's simple, follow this steps:
1. Install latest version of HiSuite and don't run it
2. Open HiSuite-Proxy as administrator and click on httpcomponent.dll, it will search for httpcomponent.dll located usually in C:/Program Files(x86)/HiSuite and let the tool patch it.
3. Set HiSuite to use a proxy and use ip 127.0.0.1 and port 7777 as HiSuite-Proxy says
4. Find your BASE, CUST, and PRELOAD packages on FirmwareFinder, they are needed to perform a system recovery and then insert their links into their respective textboxes in HiSuite-Proxy;
5. Open C:/Users/yourusername/AppData/Local/HiSuite/UpdateDogDev/HiSuiteConfig.xml and add an entry for your phone model if there isn't
5. Then you can follow these steps https://github.com/ProfessorJTJ/HISuite-Proxy/wiki/System-Recovery-Rom-Instruction-(-Soft-Bricked-)
