Axon Mini 7 $199 - ZTE Axon 7 Mini Guides, News, & Discussion

Zte website has axon 7 mini on sale for $199 3/5-3/11. I just bought one in hopes the bootloader is unlocked and can one day have twrp and root.

amazon.com also

As of 4/16 Best buy has it on sale for 199.99, I'm switching from my Moto x pure crap to the ZTE axon 7 mini. Can't afford the one I want. Just the axon 7

I picked mine up at BB also, $199. I sold my iPhone 7 to pay some bills and got this after a little bit of research. So far it's an excellent mid range phone. My only gripe so far is battery life.

On Gearbest paid 101€!!

I paid £90 from Gearbest - Just have to wait 3- 4 weeks for it to arrive like many others who took advantage of the deal.
Hopefully when everyone gets their hands on their mini this sub forum will become a bit more busy.
I really can't wait for it to arrive !

[Q] how much would an iphone 4 (8gb) and ipod touch (32 gb) w/ camera good cond

how much would an iphone 4 (8gb) on AT&T go for , it CAN be unlocked if the buyer wants, and has been in an otterbox since the day of purchase however the box is not included in the sale.
and
ipod touch (32 gb) with camera good condition but not 100% perfect and everything works. it comes with a case and a screen protector that is not applied.
im trying to appraise this for my friend who might ask me to sell it at some point soon for her. she wants to buy an iphone 4, 4s or 5 that is 32 - 64 gb
also i have an old Motorola backflip sim unlocked and rooted/bootloader unlocked...how much do you think that would go for?
thank you for your help guys!
Well
The I4 is probably worth around $300 or a bit less. In general, I4's are going for a bit higher than $300 but those are the 16gb models. An asking price of $300 is fair. Now the Ipod is probably around $200 depending on the scratches and what not. You can probably get a bit more on Ebay but that extra money you make is most likely going to Paypal and shipping anyway's so I would opt for craigslist instead. Hope this gives you an idea. The backflip can go around for maybe $60-$80 maybe a bit more if the buyer is a first time smartphone buyer trying to get in on the action.
Sold my iPod 32 gb 3rd Gen to gamestop for $89 ( credit)
And it wasn't in the beat shape. So I would say that this iPod 4 Gen is in very good condition compared to my 3rd Gen

This is not the For Sale section. XDA is also only for Android and Windows Phone device, not iOS devices.

$199 Axon 7 Mini (Gold only) at Best Buy

Pretty nice phone, my son has been using one for about a month now... loves it.
I have the regular but I got my wife this phone. It annihilates any other phone in the $200 price range.

Is the galaxy note 5 still a worthy buy?

I did google this. The only info I found was before the note 7 was released which I was originally gonna go with the note 7 sadly it had to blow up. Lol but I'm just curious if I buy a note 5 now would it be sufficient enough until the note 8 releases?
It'd really depend on the price you find. It's a good phone, but nothing I've been overly in love with. I'm actually looking to ditch this and Verizon to grab the OnePlus 3T. Not totally decided yet
On swappa I can buy one between 300 and 350 in mint cond.

What size? I have mine on a payment plan on Verizon at $792. It's the 64gb version. As long as it's a good bit under retail it might be worth it. Biggest thing is about to you find the drawbacks worth it?

The problem is the battery. It was always underpowered to begin with then add to that Marshmallow and now the batteries are over 1 year old. You may find yourself needing to replace the battery.
The S8 and S8+ will be released soon. I bet Verizon is going to have good deals at launch. I would not plunk down even $300 for this phone now since the battery is likely take a hit from use and it is not easily replaced. But then again, you may be able to trade in the Note 5 for at least $300 toward the S8/S8+ so maybe it would be fine.

Used Retail Prices are dropping

I don't lease or make monthly payments on phones. I always sell my phones and just add $300 to my recent sale to buy a new phone. I currently have the Note 10. I originally purchased it through Samsung for the $600 off trade in. However, just a week after being released I was able to get a Note 10 for $750. So returned my Samsung Note and purchased one from an alternative website. I then sold my S10 for $500. Well today the Note 10 is selling for $600 or $650 used.
This is the 1st phone I have owned that had declined in price by more than 30% in a month. I'm just shocked.
where did you find Note10 for 600?

Buy used OnePlus 8T or wait for OnePlus 9 / 9 Pro?

So backstory, I found a really good deal on Facebook Marketplace for a OnePlus 8T (US Version unlocked from Amazon) for $370. It's in excellent condition, is paid off, and seems to be the unlocked KB2005 model.
Since the phone is basically half off at that price, I'm super tempted by it. However, the other part of me almost wants to wait for the inevitable OnePlus 9/9 Pro announcements in March and maybe get that one of those on launch. I also had the idea of selling my current phone or the 8T if I'm impressed by either model. That's where I thought I'd come to XDA to ask for advice on what I should do, or if anyone has other ideas!
I currently own a 6T that I got on launch in 2018 and I absolutely love it. It still works well, but being a big tech enthusiast is making me start to get an itch to upgrade soon (especially since my dad just got a Galaxy S21 and was really impressed just helping him set it up).
Thanks all!
I also was on the fence with ditching my 6T for this one, but it's quite an upgrade in almost every way. Once you experience how fluid the screen refresh is, there is no going back. I scored mine on a trade-in promo. Wouldn't pay full retail for it, tho. Seems like a really good deal at that price point. 9 series is going to be very expensive at first, so factor that in. If anything, grab 8T and see if t-mobile is going to be running trade-in promos on them (9 series). You can always sell it on swappa for more if you don't like it.

You bring up a good point there regarding trade in deals. I'd also imagine that T-Mobile is bound to have a deal for the 9 Series. I got my 6T on their original trade in deal in 2018 where you could trade the OG OnePlus One and get $300 off the 6T. It was a no brainer, since I essentially got full value for a 4 year old phone.
Do you recommend oneplus 8t or is better wait?
Hi there, unfortunately my actual phone stoped working and I came back for my backup phone.
So I'm looking for a new phone and in this moment we can find Oneplus 8t for around $500.
Do you think that is a good deal? Or is better wait for a possible oneplus 9 lite with SD 870?
After watch and read many reviews, I did a list with the principal points. Can you tell me if the list match with your real usage?
here are the good things that I observed:
+Screen
+Battery
+Fast Charger 65w
+Dual speaker
+Oxygen Os
In other side:
- Others chargers doesn't look work well
- No SD 865 Plus
- Regular camera
last month traded my Tmo OP7T (with $90 balance, so i paid it off) with Tmo OP8T, paid $0 out of pocket, and it actually lowered my monthly by $20/mo. Tmo still valued the OP7T for $750. So, new phone, lower monthly
