No working WiFi (Stock Lollipop still continues to Bootloop) - Sony Xperia M2

Okay so since my last thread I decided to try updating my phone again after over a year being stuck on 4.4.4. I ran into the same problems. So I decided to take a shot installing a custom rom with the procedure of:
1) Installing latest firmware 18.6.A.0.182 which bootloops on my phone.
2) Updating the bootloader.
3) Installing the recovery according to the rom (twrp)
4) Wipe System, Data, Cache & Dalvik
5) Install ROM
6) Install open gapps
7) Finish!
So far I have tried:
CyanogenMod 13 6.0.1,
LineageOS 14.1 7.1.1
OmniRom 7.1.1,
They all have the same issues, the WiFi doesn't work (sometimes SIM isnt detected with OMNI) else everything is fine. I was actually surprised how optimized they were. credz to devz

If I turn the WiFi on it instantly goes off on Android 6 and it appears to "load" briefly on Android 7 before turning it off.
The MAC adress for the WiFi is also unusual it displays as "02:00:00:00:00:00"
Since I'm unsure if I'm doing something wrong myself or my phone is faulty I didn't want to report any bugs.
If anyone has any idea how to get my phone back running I would really appreciable it!
Apart from Stock Sony 4.4.4 of course!
Thanks for your time!

[BadaDroid] Omni 4.4 - 09.09.2014 and later (incl. 5.1 Lollypop) hangs on boot screen

I've spent the last two days trying to figure out how to flash Omni 4.4 on my Wave S8500 device, but unfortunately, the system becomes unbootable once I use firmware 09.09.2014 and newer. Assuming that I'm not the only person experiencing this (search for "i tried installing this rom 8 times but every time successfully installed but when choose reboot system reboots but stucks on «samsung wave 2 s8530» showing boot screen" in the comments below this YouTube video), there seems to be a deal-breaking bug in later ROMs that makes the phone stuck at the "Samsung Wave GT-S8500" boot screen with no TWRP recovery accessible. Both Turko CFW 10.2 and Omni - 15.08.2014 are, however, working fine for me.
Here's what settings I use when flashing Omni with Multiloader:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then I follow the installation procedure step-by-step with no issues.
And this is what I get after system reboot…forever.
Any help is appreciated!
BUMP. Any tip what else should I try?
Ok, I made a video (about 20 mins long) about me trying to flash Omni 4.4 on my phone. I hope it'll be helpful (and hopefully enough to tell what the hell's going wrong).

Official MIUI7 on the MiPad - Developer ROM 5.10.15

Update: fastbooted the rom and my issues were resolved. Had to root with cwm.
The official release of MIUI7 on the MiPad was today. I flashed it.
to date issues I'm having:
The lockscreen doesn't want to open. I have to open by pulling down the status bar and selecting settings.
I can't get google play to recognize me. I've done everything suggested everywhere.. wiping data, cache, trying to update .apks, rebooting, blah, blah, blah...... won't work.
Can't get it to root...
I can't get the local backup to make a backup, but it did let me restore a backup I had made with an sMIUI rom.
One of the new features is locked apps won't show up in the recent apps screen. Well, not for me. I locked my email and tested it. Still shows up in recent apps. grrrr.
I did flash TWRP without issues.
so anyway, the music interface looks good. Too bad it's all in chinese....
I'm going back to cMiui7 5.8.10.

and no security center or theme manager (just wallpaper), for those wondering... surprise.. surprise... surprise!
If anyone wants to try it, I uploaded the rom to devhost.

I have attached the deskclock.apk file for anyone that's interested. It contains an alarm, stop watch, and timer. Use at your own risk.

[Resolved] Not Able to Update my Device Manually Post Flashing STOCK ROM

Hello Team,
I recently purchased a new Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) few days back. After the initial settings, I got a new ROM OTA update. However, I being a true Android lover tried Rooting my J5 (2016). However, the link that I used did not worked and now my Device status has changed from 'Official' to 'Custom'.
EDIT - The above Issue has been Resolved since I flashed STOCK ROM that changed my Device Status back to "Official". However, a new issue has been cropped up now.
You can take a look at the current Software Info. that would give you an insight onto the current OS that is installed on the device after the flashing of STOCK ROM which I downloaded from Sam Mobiles.

}
and this:
Here is another screenshot that tells you the exact error which I receive now whenever I try looking for Software Updates manually.
I want to know what could be the issue here since earlier the Device Status changed to CUSTOM (when I tried rooting the device). However, when I downloaded the STOCK ROM from SAM MOBILES and flashed it properly through ODIN, this is the new error that is troubling me.
NOTE: After flashing the STOCK ROM, I did not perform any kind of: Data Wipe or Cache Wipe.
Can that be creating this error here? I don't think just because I did not Clean Wiped my Cache and Data could be the reason behind this issue. However, still I am looking forward to hearing some response from the official developers on this.
Thanks and regards.

Hello there,
Please understand that I am only opening this thread to help activating the Redmi 4 Prime community with more helpful resources about the phone. One of them being this ROM, which of course isn't stable and ready for beta use, but is a good base for us 'markw' owners.
Warning/Notice: This ROM is not made by me. Not really sure who the original author is, this is from 4PDA. This is an unofficial ROM and is a badly ported one. Many things do not work, and I recommend not installing this for everyday use, but just if you're curious or plan to test some things out.
Phone, internet (wifi and lte) works fine most of the time. Calling is as good as LoS13. I think Bluetooth works as well, not sure if I tested that and the IR blaster.
What's NOT working:
Camera (only opens occasionally for me... most of the times the app crashes before the camera can be utilized)
Flashlight (once it worked, but after a reinstallation I can't get it to work again)
Fingerprint sensor.
CPU/GPU optimization. Rom feels good, but open a benchmark and see how much you're missing out!
Guide:
Do a factory reset with TWRP
Flash the zip over
Do not wipe dalvik/cache and do not install gapps yet
Boot, check it out
[*]Remove the chinese bloatware (disable in apps)
Install gapps and don't wipe dalvik/cache
Enjoy the testing
