First of all let me say that i am not new to the android development world, ive done rooting process, flashing etc in several phones and this is the first time ive been stuck clueless.
So this is what happened, I have the Xperia Z5 Premium (E6853), after succesfully unlocking the bootloader i inmediately started the root process and that is were it all went wrong, i followed the root process from this link: technosamigos.com/root-xperia-z5-phone/ I did everything it says, but when rebooted all i got was an unresponsive black screen, the sony logo doesnt appear nor the animation, no bootaudio either, the leds work fine, i can still acces flash and bootloader mode but i cant seem to restore my phone to its previous state any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Are you on lollipop or marhmallow, because supersu 2.46 won't work on marhsmallow.

I was just able to unbrick the phone my friend, i was in marshmallow, the problem is that the guy who uploaded the tutorial made a mistake in the version of the kernel, so instead of installing a kernel compatible with my phone (E6853) i installed a kernel for another version (E6653), so i just reinstalled a custom kernel for my version and bam just like that my phone is alive again, thank you anyways man, i really appreciate the fact you were trying to help me out. :good:

[Resolved] [Q] Is there any way to revive a bricked SE Xperia Ray?

I tried to install this ROM in my SE Xperia Ray ST18i. I followed the instructions, but for some reason I got stuck at the Sony logo, during boot. Fortunately, I was able to restore the phone with SEUS, as suggested here. I tried the whole procedure again, but this time I unlocked the bootloader. Again, the phone was stuck during boot with the Sony logo. To my horror, I wasn't able to restore the phone with SEUS this time. I think this is because I unlocked the bootloader?
So, I tried to flash a stock-rom, I downloaded here, as suggested by someone with a similar problem, here. But without success. No matter what rom I try, flashtool will give errors and not be able to flash any downloaded stockrom.
Right now I'm left with a bricked phone. And I'm afraid it's horribly messed up. Is there any way to revive it? Any help would be very much appreciated, obviously.
I managed to get it working again, thanks to the instructions in this video.
Yes, it was one of the first hits when googeling bricked xperia ray. I admit it, I'm a stupid n00b.
But I don't care right now, because I got it working again! :victory:
Now, lets see if the third attempt to install Iced Bean 3 will work, or really mess up my phone for good.
I managed to flash Iced Bean 3. This time the phone booted without any trouble at all. I think the reason it didn't work the first 2 tries, was that I didn't format /system, /cache and /data. So far, I like this rom a lot. :good:

Noob Help - Bootloop on Sony Xperia Z3

Hello, I am new to xda, so if this is in the wrong place, I apologize. Also, I am new to this rooting stuff, so I do not now much about it.
Anyway, I have a just rooted Xperia Z3 D6653 Android Device and I was in the middle of installing TWRP (which successfully installed) and my phone got stuck in a boot loop. I have searched every where for a fix but nothing is working. I tried to factory reset and wipe the dalviq cache on recovery mode, but it says it always fails. I still try to reboot the phone into the system, but it keeps looping. Could someone please help me out? Any help would be really appreciated.
Also my bootloader is unlocked
And I am running Lollipop.
Thanks

Fist of all: welcome to xda and thanks for actually posting in the right thread
Now, your problem: what did you do exactly?
You downgraded to 4.4.4, rooted, and then installed recovery? Which guide did you follow and what programs did you use?
Generally speaking what you should be able to do:
Turn phone off (long vol+ & power press)
Prepare flashtool by selecting your .ftf of choice (recommendable to use 4.4.4 so you can get it right then) and checking clear data and cache
Then let it prepare everything
Hold down vol- when asked tip and plug your phone in
You'll get a fresh start!
Best of luck!
Just one thing: you first unlocked your phone and then rooted it? If so that'd be a pitty, cause that'd mean you lost DRM keys and functions. Why did you exactly unlock it if I may ask?
Edit: you said you are on LP, therefore I assume you are unrooted, which would show why it didn't work
I advise you to follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3017056
As it shows everything really well

Well I tried what you said, but I cannot find a link. So I just downloaded a random one (its the right version) but in flashtool it just keeps coming up with errors. I followed the steps from these 3 websites
http://howtorootmobile.com/root-sony-xperia-z3-easy-steps/#top_ankor
http://howtorootmobile.com/unlock-bootloader-sony-xperia-z2/
http://howtorootmobile.com/guide-install-twrp-recovery-sony-xperia-z3/
What I was installing TWRP and the last step was to type in fastboot reboot on the command window, that is when my Xperia Z3 got stuck in a boot loop. I dont really know what a ROM is and how to properly flash stuff, so I probably made a mistake while installing TWRP and thats why I get errors trying to wipe files using it.
Also, I did not downgrade before I rooted and unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP. I didnt even know you had to downgrade. Would that be a reason why the bootloop occured?

[Completed] Galaxy Tab Kids - Can't get out of bootloop

Hi folks! Thanks for this place where we can actually get a great deal of help!
My daughter has a Kids tablet SM-T2105 which was rooted, but for some reason it got stuck on the TWRP recovery a while back so I decided to flash the original stock rom to it. Nothing knowing much I gathered all the information I needed and did the process using Odin, the stock ROM I downloaded from a reliable source believing that the version of the tablet was USA (since I bought it from Best Buy). Odin says it had been flashed successfully but when the tablet ends the process and reboots I got stuck in bootloop with the Samsung logo flashing.
I tried to access the recovery from there but it doesn't work, so I tried installing the TWRP and cleaning caches, resetting to factory, etc, but nothing seems to work.
I actually tried this process with many different stock ROM versions (region XAR) but it always stays stuck in bootloop.
I honestly don't know what else to do and I'd appreciate if you guys could guide me on this.
Thanks in advance!

Lost use of 2nd sim after Root/ unroot FRD-L09

hi i am a long time lurker, first time poster and i have been stalking the forums for a while looking for an answer too my problem, but so far i think i may be the only one to pull this **** up
i was unlocked bootloader
running twrp 3.1.1 open kirin edition
openkirin os
i didnt get on with the percieved lag soo unrooted restored official os and removed twrp and locked up the bootloader
after first boot i realised my 2nd sim slot is not working after it was functiuonal before :/
ive been hunting about and think it might have something to do with the 3dmodem.app but when i extract orr use the update.zip it always skips it. does anybody know how i managed this? :/
also a way to restore 2nd sim functionality would be appreciated
This is the first time I see this issue.
However, if you are on complete stock now, do a rollback to marshmallow and see if it works.

S6 G920F stuck on boot logo

Not sure if my phone is a lost cause and only good as a door stop. My phone at one stage would only display a screen asking me to plug into smart switch to recover the phone so I tried that but smart switch wasn't happening. I downloaded the latest stock rom and installed it successfully via ODIN but now my phone will not get past the boot logo. I can only get into download mode, Any advise on if I can get my phone working again?
Thanks

Bro, I've been there and this is why I made an account on xda to see if my s6 (G-920F) can be fixed in any way. Yesterday I had the same thing as you when I tried to re-flash the phone with its proper, latest stock-ROM (UK/EE Nougat 7.0). Given how it hadn't worked, the update attempt through Odin screaming a big "FAIL!" at me, I was afraid I had bricked it completely, so I proceeded to re-install TWRP with Odin by putting the phone in download mode. I wiped the phone again with TWRP and now I'm not sure what I have to do as I am stuck with the UK Nougat bootloader and nothing else on it.
Before this whole ordeal I had rooted the phone and unlocked the bootloader following some instructions from a Youtube video and successfully installed a nighty build of LineageOS, which was buggy as **** (couldn't answer calls, use data, use the camera and a ****ton of apps were just not working). Dumbly enough, I thought I could just remove it through a wipe and put something else back on it but oh was I wrong.
Right now I'd just want to get my phone back to working (like you), as I am out of a job and need to be able to take phone calls with a normal, working phone.
Sorry I couldn't be of much help, but yeah maybe a first step towards fixing it would be to flash TWRP recovery on it and through the terminal, see what bootloader version you have with the command "getprop ro.bootloader". At least you will know the version of the broken bootloader you're experiencing difficulties with and *hopefully* an actual dev from the forums will entertain themselves in trying to solve this noobish puzzle we've created for ourselves.
Seriously, if there is a dev ready to board this crazy adventure with us, please help.
My namesake or username is pretty much a clue to what got me into this position.
I wish it was that simple for me mate, I cant access the recovery menu, I've tried flashing various recovery options but cant boot into any of them. I'm certain I could fix the phone if I could get to recovery. I'm now leaning towards it being a hardware fault with my phone. As you have access to recovery I think you may have more luck with your phone.

Oh dear.
Yeah it does sound like something got deeply ****ed up in this case. I had the luck to somehow get past the smart switch error when the phone died of low battery. As I attached it to the charger I quickly boot it into download mode before the screen would become a bootloop again and that's where I was able to reinstall the latest version of TWRP recovery. After that, I was able to flash a stock ROM of Nougat that didn't have a ****ed up bootloader like I had. Specifically the one from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/device-5-binary-3-s6-sm-g920f-t3706025
by forumber2.
It's the Netherlands stock-ROM. Not sure if you're from the US and the carrier would be wrong with that CSC, but it was a good bet for me. I got my phone back to working normally now.
Worst case scenario I'd say see if you have a phone repair shop nearby and ask them an opinion on what could be wrong. I'm just an amateur like you.
Still, I wish you the best of luck with it. Maybe there's still some hope. :/
