Hi folks! Thanks for this place where we can actually get a great deal of help!
My daughter has a Kids tablet SM-T2105 which was rooted, but for some reason it got stuck on the TWRP recovery a while back so I decided to flash the original stock rom to it. Nothing knowing much I gathered all the information I needed and did the process using Odin, the stock ROM I downloaded from a reliable source believing that the version of the tablet was USA (since I bought it from Best Buy). Odin says it had been flashed successfully but when the tablet ends the process and reboots I got stuck in bootloop with the Samsung logo flashing.
I tried to access the recovery from there but it doesn't work, so I tried installing the TWRP and cleaning caches, resetting to factory, etc, but nothing seems to work.
I actually tried this process with many different stock ROM versions (region XAR) but it always stays stuck in bootloop.
I honestly don't know what else to do and I'd appreciate if you guys could guide me on this.
Thanks in advance!

So I had a rooted Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 that I didn't have any backups for and I stupidly changed the DPI of the screen and rebooted the device and it started up in bootloop and I tried recovering it and nothing would work. So I finally settled on the wipe and factory reset, and now it starts up VERY SLOWLY, and the start of the set up for the device shows up but constantly I'm being bombarbed by TOUCHWIZUI has stopped working and 3 other things keep popping up saying they have stopped working. The touch screen barely works.
I have no idea what to do. I have no backups. I am not that familiar with android. I am downloading the stock firmware and am going to try to put it on with odin but I doubt it's going to work.
Can someone give me some advice on what to do? I would REALLY appreciate it.
Sincerely,
SalvelinuxFontinalix
BTW. The tab is the SM-T530NU Canadian (Wifi) version. The firmware I am downloading is the T530NUUEU1ANI1_T530NUXAC1ANI1...
Can I use ODIN to flash this firmware from my PC onto the device or will it be a huge problem if the tablet has been wiped and factory reset and is missing all sorts of information?
Your gonna need to flash the stock rom for the device.
Thank you for your guidance!

Thank you so much I did what you said. I found the stock rom and "flashed it" I got it back to exactly how it was when I got the tablet! I was unsure how to do it but I learned a bit on my own form the search feature of XDA. I found the stock rom out of a list of many different ones and I found the correct ROM for my country and area and flashed it on with ODIN using my PC and it rebooted and was brand new. I re-rooted it and decided not to alter the DPI of the screen. It's nice enough as is.
Thanks Again! Zelendel! You are a life safer! Oh and BTW...is using ODIN to transfer the stock ROM onto the device considered "flashing"? Or is there some other way people flash devices?
Thanks again I'm so thrilled I don't have a broken device haha. THANKS!!!
Sincerely,

Yes it is. There are other ways with custom recoveries but that is only for custom rom flashs
Hi, I am new here and to android modding or repair. I have been getting an education though thanks to the XDA community posts and managed to resolves issues with a few phones. However this Core LTE is beyond me so far. I'm trying to fix it for a friend who is homeless. When it was brought to me it had been worked on already by someone else, had no OS, but i determined it was still worth trying. I managed to get Kies to flash a Rom on it, which is more than the last dude did with Odin. But since then it is stuck in recovery mode. I can still get it to Download mode in all methods, have flashed it with Odin3 but it just hangs in recovery when rebooted. I'm hoping someone here can point me to the right method

Hi and welcome to XDA.
Do you have the auto reboot option turned off in odin? Sometimes that can cause problems.

Hi. I had cyanogenmod recovery installed when trying to update android to kitkat, and suddenly the phone wouldn't boot into recovery, instead i got a dead android icon and a CSC error msg, and commands would not respond. Able to boot phone, and after a factory reset I have a cyanogenmod version running, but with Playstore access errors (as described widely on forums, not responding to clearing cache, restart etc).
I want to start again.
I have latest USB driver, Odin dl'ed and ready to go.
My question: Can I flash a latest Cyanogenmod, or do I need to return to stock firmware?
(I read somewhere that if exact firmware for device not flashed, it will permanently brick the phone, and my model is GT-N1705, nearest version is GT-N1700)
Many thanks in advance

Greetings and welcome to xda, I would recommend using odin to flash stock and start over again just to be safe. Your model sounds like the lte variant which is the N7105 not the n1705. As long as you use odin to flash a N7105 firmware you will be fine. You can find your firmware here

Thanks, Sawdoctor. I did exactly as you recommended (with the help ofsome youtube videos) and I'm laughing. Had a bit of fiddling with GApps to get the right one, but after a few tries & cache wipes it all booted up and is working a treat. Thankyou thankyou thankyou

Hi, total noob here. I flashed TWRP on my S6 and it's now stuck in a bootloop. I can access TWRP but can't get it to boot up normally. Any ideas please? If I flash a custom rom or even stock fireware via Odin is this likely to rectify it please? Thanks.
Just tried flashing magisk but no joy. When I try to reboot I get a message saying 'No OS installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot'
Does this mean the OS has somehow been damaged or wiped? Thanks.
Thanks for your reply but I don't understand any of that and it sounds way out of my technical ability. Looks like it's knackered as there's no way i can work out how to do the above - it's like a foreign language.
Is there an idiots guide or some other really straightforward way. I'm not worried about losing my data etc.
Thanks for all of your advice. I managed to flash the nemesis s7e rom for s6 and it's all working great now. Think I'll stick with this for a while and not dabble again until I know what I'm doing!

Hi Jim,
Just got a Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F international, unbranded version) and started gathering the relevant info about flashing a custom recovery, rooting, custom roms etc. Like you, I also ran into a bootloop after flashing TWRP with Odin (and restarting the phone).
Eventually I found out that the trick was to power off the phone immediately after flashing TWRP (by pressing and holding the Volume Down + Power button for a few seconds) instead of restarting right away.
Anyway, this seemed to work for me. So if you want to do some dabbling again it might work for you, too!
Thanks, that's good to know for future reference.
Ok, I am new here and I do not have a lot of experience with trying to flash phones. I decided I wanted to try it on my Samsung Galaxy S6. I have managed to get as far as the TWRP screen on the phone after rooting, but I cannot get the phone to go back to normal, if that makes sense.
All I have is the Team Win Recovery Project 3.2.1.0 screen with install, wipe etc but no matter what I do I can not move on from there.
I had previously downloaded all the files that I thought was needed but still cant do anything.
Any help greatly appreciated, and sorry for being a dumb newbie and not really up to date on all the terms, so any explanation as to what I need to do in simple terms would be a great help.
Thank you
You can download custom Rom on your pc and install with sideload or install stock rom with odin
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I have it all sorted now
