I have uploaded another build which should be able to flash without flashing boot.img . Just the ROM zip. You can find it in experimental folder here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=166332
Please do test and report if the phone boots without flashing the boot.img separately. If so, I'll update the links in OP. Thanks

Yes Los based. It uses magisk for root and is built in. Also NFC is disabled by default so not affected by the wakelocks, however if you accidently hit the toggle to turn it on, it will not turn back off (after enabling it greys out). To fix, simply add NFC quick tile and use that to toggle off and no more wakelocks (this works on all of the Los based ROMs and fixes the wakelock issues everyone has been having). Looks like another good ROM option to have
Edit: only issue I had was trying to get into developer settings would freeze on black screen. Everything else seemed good. Sorry didn't take a lot, I'll try to later.
Hi guys,
Could I get the manifest that is used to build this ? I am trying to debug the NFC for the phone and would appreciate the latest source code.
Cheers,
Damien

Attempting to flash this through TWRP and it's just hanging at "patching system image unconditionally" for about 20 minutes now. I did a full wipe and am using model H830.

Logcat required with Clear description of error.
Does it happen on clean flash?
Did you try to reproduce the error without Substratum themes enabled?

FAQs.
1.ROM is based on?
* Roms is Based was AOSP-CAF now its fully rebased to pure CAF with few lineage elements.
2.Supports 4k Video Recording?
* Yes , use SnapCam included in the Project Build.
2 Changelogs?
- Please check my commits on Github or the changelogs section in Settings->About Phone.
3. Does VertexOS work with other GApps, TWRPs, firmwares, SU, kernels, tweaks, Viper4Android, etc?
- Please feel free to try, but I may not give support for issues caused.
4. Deep sleep issues?
- Reboot or clean flash.
5. Mobile network issues?
- Toggle airplane mode to see if it fixes the problem. Please check your APN and Preferred Network Type in Mobile Network Settings. If your APN is missing, please share the APN you want me to add.
6. Why is the security patch in "About phone" outdated?
This ROM tracks CAF, which lags behind AOSP by a bit. However, you shouldn't be worried about this because CAF brings in the latest security commits even when the stated security patch level in "About phone" is outdated. Trust me, I've compared the commits of our CAF tag with the latest AOSP branch commits, and also with the Android Security Bulletin. Please just wait patiently for CAF to update the security patch string. I can easily change it and 'cheat' you guys, but I'm never going to do such a thing. So please be patient and know that your device has the security patches.
7. Facing odd drains and issues with apps (message notifications not showing)?
* Stop restoring them with Titanium Backup
* Stop using hacky tweaks
8. Google Play Services drains?
* Clean flash
* Stop restoring everything with Titanium Backup
9. Losing Magisk root?
* Don't enable the BusyBox option
10.Can I dirty flash over previous builds?
* Yes but you may face some issues.
11.Is it Pre-rooted?
* NO.
12.What about Google Assistant?
* Its in the Project by Default.
Awesome job bro
Keep up the good work

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Is there any overclocking/underclocking present?
Any gestures? And what type of optimisations are done?

EDIT1: would be fine to disable on screen buttons.
ROM is super smooth so far. Animations are fine, dirac works fine aswell. No major bugs so far.
Can you share the screenshots?

aoscp_mido-7.0.0-20190526-unofficial.zip STILL can't use real buttons.
It's weird to force users using virtual buttons only.

calm, no one's "forcing" users to use virtual buttons, it was just accidental and will be fixed in the next update.

1. OTA won't work on unofficial builds, obviously
2. For translations, please contact the team on Telegram
3. CypherOS Official is imminent, these builds are just as a test before we release our official for mido. Let us get the sources updated.

Try flashing it again, maybe. Can't be sure why you're the only one having the issue.

As the maintainer said, try flashing it again. Sometimes even clean flash isn't 'well flashed'. First just dirty flash the same rom and if doesn't help,then clean flash again. Also check if you haven't disabled hw buttons accidentally. Or it also could be that enabling navigation bar automatically disables the hw buttons.
