i forwarded a contact image from whats of person A to person B
immediately person A msg me, why did you forwarded my photo ?
I am just curious, how did he found? i am unable to see any whats app settings ( usting latest whatsaap) for any such notifications. so I am thinking may be he is using YoWhatsApp or WhatsApp plus etc
does whatsApp or any of alternatives notifies as such?
please help me

They might be getting email notifications of your activity similar to getting notifications of Facebook friends activity to let you know what they have posted.

I dont use whatsapp and I don't know if that's what it was, I'm just saying that it might be how they knew.
Well whatsapp is mobile based so i guess they dont do emails much.

I got a moto XT701, and it's google talk can't receive any message from anyone in my talk list. But my friend can receive my message that i sent. It work fine before, but this problem just start since yesterday. I check the history in Gmail, I can see that my friend had replied the message but don't know why my phone doesn't show it. Does anyone know why to fix this??? Please........

anyway it looks like it's not rom/radio/app related , it has something to do with your gmail account

Hey guys. I love GOSMS but I cannot seem to set an individual alert for a work SMS that comes from an email address. It works in handcent but I would prefer goSMS. I hit the button but nothing happens. I tried created a contact in my phone with the email address as the mobile number but it doesnt even show up in Go. Any1 got a way to make it work?
I also need the same thing please suggest some trick to do this.

what handset are you using ? andriod ? iphone ? windows?
I know it's a pain in the bum but i would always go for a full wipe of your handset and reinstall if your still having problems after that i would contact the manufacture
I think your sync setting is wrong.just go to setting and on sync for whats app..

Yes. I had a similar problem and report resetting the sync option in settings worked for me.

Hi,
I am having an odd problem on Carbon ROM, where i cannot receive notifications from Facebook Messenger. Friends are sending me stuff, but i am not seeing it until i manually check Facebook myself. My Moto G has been on many different ROM's, such as Nexus G+, Ehndroix and the stock UK + US ROM's, but i have never had this problem before. It must be something with Carbon ROM that is causing this problem. I have checked the Messenger app to ensure that all notifications and sounds are enabled.
Any suggestions??

Yeah, absolutely. I'm able to get notifications from all my apps, other than Facebook! Strange isn't it.

Try clearing the messenger data and try...
The latest WhatsApp feature is generating a lot of duplicate threads on XDA, drowning other threads in the process. Many are also posted in the wrong section. For some reason, even after getting a call in fact two or three calls my whatsapp call isn't getting activated. I am on latest version. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
Go to setting-->Apps manager-->Whatsapp then force stop it now open d whatsapp it ll activate or wait for some time it will activate

How you are activating feature for others? Simply calling from watsup or any other method? Coz its not working for me when I tried to activate the same to my friends.
I already have activated Call feature on my mobile...
