current official release is B577, you can get it either via hicare app or system updater. current inofficial is B586, you can get that via firmware finder app.

What does C185 mean and how can I upgrade my rom from b130 to newer versions,
Can i update my phone thorugh other HUAWEI p8 lite roms with c432 NO. etc ???

The C185 part is your region code, while the B120 part is the version code. You can update to a later version as long as the update version has the C185 part in it. Exp: C185B200. You can install a rom from another country but usually from the same region but you need to know which is compatible. You can always try it if it's compatible it will flash successfully if not compatible it will tell you it's not compatible and won't flash.

I think B170,but you can manually Update with B320 or B321
I updated my L29 C432 using the OTA updater and I'm now on emui 4.0 ROM number B192. Is this still the latest ROM that's been officially released OTA for this version of the phone?

I was wondering if there is an emui 8.1 update for our device. Huawei said honor 6x will be updated to emui 8 so i am guessing they will go all the way. From what I can tell, 8.1 brings redesigned gallery, camera and (maybe) face unlock. I have rebranded to BLN-AL20 and in firmware finder there is no update, so just wondering.
There's already an official Oreo flashable firmware on xda (base version 8.0, not 8.1), but the procedure is a little time-consuming and involves rebranding your phone to a BLN-L22.
The firmware is still beta though, and is meant to be used only by official beta testers. Also, if I'm not wrong, it should be the India target version. Still universally usable as you can change your language but probably not meant for your region (unless you live in India).
I personally am using it and it is really stable, but not perfect.

If you just want to be with Oreo, you can first download the last firmware for FRD-L09 at FirmwareFinder website. It's 3 files and you can flash them with HuRUpdater zip using TWRP 3.1.1-1 (openkirin edition I think)
To get any 8+ ROM to work you need EMUI8 firmware base. Maybe you are interested in rebranding your device, because there is no EMUI8 for C185 available. You can rebrand to C432, for example. But I don't know much about it and I suggest you do your own research before. Guides to this are available in guides section.
Otherwise you can flash any Android 7 ROM.

I actually have 3 problems. After my rebrand from BLN-L21 to BLN-L22, it looks like the update button disappeared.
Also (i think it is in relation with the first problem), my build number switched to "NRD90M test-keys". Note : HiSuite is not finding any update.
Another problem is the download of the BLN-L22 latest EMUI 8 FullOTA to get EMUI 8, to then install a custom rom (FluidOS). Indeed, the hicloud links are no longer working. Do anybody have a EMUI 8 FullOTA for BLN-L22 available to download?
