Welcome, mOOnlight Users!
Since the Galaxy S3 i build Custom ROMs, but i'm since then not known here.. Everyone that use my builds know, the ROM is almost completely debloated. Unfortunately Im not a fan of the whole content they build in, although less than others. Before i changed to huawei i had an S3 like mentioned before, and a Z2 from sony. Im here since mid of june, and appreciated so far with a very stable and bugfree P9. At this stage i start here with my projects for all users like to flash custom roms. My support is highly 2-3 years or until EOL from Huawei.
The next step after mallowPOP is now based on 7.0 Nougat, called mOOnlight. Its a mainly new builded ROM and does nearly the same as MM before, give the users a clean and stable build without any issues.
Userguide:
Marshmallow
Update from any Custom ROM or old firmware to latest MM firmware through ota or dload to gain the Nougat upgrade, theres no other methods than this.
Unlock bootloader and flash twrp for N 3.1......
resume right away with point 1
Nougat
1. A Custom ROM always needs the latest twrp + firmware installed before flashing to bypass driver changes made by huawei or it can cause errors or bootloops. It might working on some versions until they change something under the hood, then its necessary to update with dload.
2. Go to twrp, wipe -> Adwanced Wipe
3. Wipe this: Data, Internal Storage and System to have a clean start
(Cust, Vendor, Product and Version)
4. Flash the firmware you have downloaded.
5. Don't worry about mountencrypt error, it all works well.*
6. Done
*Huawei binarys working a bit different than we use, but we can't avoid them until we have a better solution.

How to unroot from SuperSU

To flash the rom, you have first flash a stock rom to wipe new world, then update to nougat, open bootloader and do, what the OP says.

You really sure, you got the right one? I've no issues in direct way.
OKay not everything went wrong.
I flashed the recovery from your link again.
I wiped data and system without error.
While installing the following error appears:
failed to mound /dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/by-name/userdata at /data: device or resource busy.
How to fix?
by the way it seems the rom is working fine after boot no bloat and root is working fine.
But i hate errors while flashing
OK, download is working.
Was an error with Tapatalk...
@dkionline Arise isn't working and I had the same problem with /data partition when I was flashing system

No problems here, maybe you have to wipe system and data first before flash mOOnlight because of using old twrp to fit with new structure. As i said before, its a script problem in common with recovery, it doesnt flash that.
Installed twrp again.
Wiped data
Wiped system
Both without error.
Flashing result is [/system]
Error:
failed to mount /dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/by-name/userdata at /data: device or resource busy
Rom is working fine as far as I can tell.

Ach, ok, thats because mountencrypt, but it work like it should. I cant remove that, or it doesnt flash data.
hi,
Can it be flashed on EVA-AL10? or it is just for specific variant?
thanks.
I am currently rooted on b190 MM. Using a L19 P9. Can I just wipe and flash this ROM to attain Nougat?
Only L09 with C432.
For flashing Nougat, an Upgrade is a must, before use any N based roms. You cant flash directly.
So I have to find an official update to nougat first, and then I can flash your nougat ROM? If I'm on L19 I can't flash?

After downloading it from the google drive rename it to *.zip, as in change the extension to .zip, and flash like usual.
I recently bought a honor 6x( Huawei mate 9 Lite in my country). My model is BLL-l23 reading the thread I suppose this TWRP will works on mine?
When I get home I will try it.
This is my custom TWRP for the Honor9 (STF) phone. Finally after more than 2 weeks I've successfully added encryption support. I plan to keep it updated.

Capacitive button fix
Some people have the problem of missing capacitive buttons. The reason for this problem is not flashing a recovery but probably because something during firmware upgrade went wrong.
I made a custom kernel which should fix the capacitive button problem. This kernel also allows disable of SELinux with setenforce command.
ONLY for OREO
New: Proto8 kernel includes my capacitive fix. Download it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/kernel-proto8-kernel-t3780551
Old method with kernel compiled by me (not recommended, use Proto8 kernel instead):
Download kernel
B360: http://www.mediafire.com/file/6n1wfbxtp09orda/KERNEL_B360a_TOUCH_FIX.img
B362: http://www.mediafire.com/file/c6yayg8sp2tvach/KERNEL_B362_TOUCH_FIX.img
B366: http://www.mediafire.com/file/opc9ilg6x5uzyvk/KERNEL_B366_TOUCH_FIX.img
Flash with fastboot.exe flash kernel KERNEL_BXXX_TOUCH_FIX.img
Reboot into android and check capacitive buttons (enable them in settings if necessary)
Flash stock kernel again if you want
After flashing and used this TWRP the capacitive buttons and camera flashlight are still working?

Does TWRP need system rw for backup? Anyway, Huawei added write protection in memory controller. So in order to mount system rw, a custom kernel is required. If you need it I can compile a custom kernel. Note that recovery and system have the same kernel now in Oreo.

For Facebook/whatsapp calling, if the audio is quite you should set the call volume to 1 step below max
Q : I dont have root help plez
A : Flash the latest magisk zip
Q : Phone took alot of time to boot, and is very laggy
A : pay attention to install steps and reboot
Q : There is SIM popup that keeps coming to ask me for restart
A : you DID NOT follow the instructions, Reinstall the rom and pay attention
Q : in the first SIM question in setup wizard, language is not english, what does it say
A : The RIGHT button is what you need to press, it will factory reset the phone (not touching your internal) and setup your /EFS with an OMC file that is linked to your simcard, so the rom will auto detect your CSC just like official samsung phones
Q : I dont see any EDGE panels after installing
A : Reboot the phone
Q : Where is edge lighting ?
A : This is NOT a flagship port, so the edge panel support is added manually, and LIGHT support cant be added
Q : How is battery Life ?
A : With some tests and some cycles, it will be better than stock due to optimzations
Q : What to do after the rom is setup ?
A : Go to samsung apps, let the phone update everthing
Q : My phone does NOT boot help pls
A : Ensure you have LATEST bootloader and modem installed, did all the wipes, and did your house chores

I used this TWRP from before https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...-j701f-core-nxt-exynos-7870/recovery-t3693009
I only flashed the recovery for this part, not the bootloader.
Then used it to flash this TWRP image https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...-exynos-7870/stable-twrp-3-2-1-j701f-t3742401
Everything went fine.
I tried to just make a tar file out of the second one, the image file, but it didn't work.
For root, there was a Magisk.zip modified to support this phone posted but the file has been removed from the upload site. Perhaps its been incorporated into the latest Magisk? I don't know.
Is it possible to flash this custom rom on my j7 core oreo?? Or is it just for naugat bootloader??

datas will maybe compatible for "9.3.28" users (no wipes data but dalvik and cache)
for all over users CLEAN flash is required, so perform a wipe datas before flash
I deleted bloatware from "cust" so do a backup !
REMOVE YOUR FINGERPRINTS in actual ROM to avoid problems.
if your Mi account protect the device you will need a wifi connection to confirm your password at first boot.
Thanks/Crédits :
• @Yousef Algadri (Rebirth kernel)
• i'll complete this list ASAP ...
New version v1.2 based on 9.4.18
Install process for v1.0 base 9.3.28 users:
do a data backup (no need to wipe dalvik and cache)
flash the rom and select options you want.
reinstall magisk if you used it before.
boot will update all correctly and take 5mn or less.
After update , your data backup from v1.0 will be unusable.
I recommend you to do another one on v1.2
When ever, if you do mystake and restore data from 1.0:
- you will need to flash again rom V1.0
- boot on v1.0, and after reinstall v1.2
Install process for new users:
wipe datas, install an choice options
if your device is protected by Miui account
you will need a wifi to access setup menu.
Nota: even if you don't setup a google account,
some apps will be downloaded without your autorization, like calculator.
Download v1.2 at Android file Host:

IMPORTANT : coz of ext4-f2fs bug (infinite boot) flash this fix after rom installation:

DO NOT MIRROR MY ROM or UPDATES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION
Changelog is :
•Update to 9.4.18 beta
•Support Oreo+Pie Firmware
•Fix CTS pass
•Disable Miui System Update
---------------------------------------
•Use Aroma Installer
•Add accents color themings (Aroma)
•Debload level set by user (Aroma)
•Added app level set by user(Aroma)
Aroma accents colors:
dark theme+ ORANGE
light theme+ ORANGE
dark theme+ GREEN
light theme+ GREEN
dark theme+ PURPLE
light theme+ PURPLE
You can choose any accent in aroma installer, it will replace system default theme.
They works like any other theme, meaning that if you switch to the MIUI dark in display, it will became stock blue.
You can change color using aroma without flash the ROM, just press the 'do nothing' option, continue step and finally change your color.
Great work bro

I don't think so, .. it goes like a no-arb, meaning like any other custom ROM and not detected like a MIUI ROM.

Just an advice, you should leave MiGallery because that is one of the most useful app of miui
Can y give me twrp support f2fs Android 9?
Gửi từ Redmi Note 5 của tôi bằng cách sử dụng Tapatalk
I would like it to be synchronized with the miui account
Can you please re base this rom to miui 9.4.11 version? 9.3.28 has massive battery drain issue. Thanks

Hi, I use pitch black too, so you can go on, just check your device is M1803E7SG
This ROM cannot brick your device ... In "pire scenario" it just doesn't boot at all.
Please users : after flashing and succes to boot tell me :
- Recovery used
- arb number
- Rom you run before
- Exact model in settings/about device, mine is M1803E7SG
Got 220 downloads in less of 24hours , and only one reported that didn't boot.
Hey, I wanna test it out but waiting for next update because I don't want my battery to drain fast.
But before testing, I have some questions about this rom;
1- I'm on a pie rom and on oreo firmware, not using a MIUI based rom. So will nornal flashing instructions (just wiping data, system etc. and flashing) work?
2- And if I would like to flash a custom rom that supports only oreo firmware, which firmware should I flash because most of them are ARB v4 as far as I know.
3- Will this rom, or firmware I flash in order to turn back to custom roms, encrypt my device? I'm not encrypted now should I use the new recoveries for pie firmware?
Thanks for your help!

I think it's the recoveries being used but I had the same problem and format data( yes) worked for me ?
That is after flashing everything rom and gapps.
i did a fresh install coming from xiaomi.eu - using twrp 3.3.1.7 from brigudav and firmware 20.2.25 as base - running crdroid for around 16 hours right now without any bootloop or restarts - all fine so far :good:
Hello everyone, I´m new with Xiaomi MI 9 Lite.
I´m, currently using "MIUI Global 11.3.5 (stable)", can I install this rom without installing any other firmware first?
Thank you so much for your support and best regards...

my 9lite continues to restart from scratch or randomly. I do not know what else to do.
I changed recoverys, changed gaps, used without root and used without root, changed firmware.
I just didn't test the phone without restore my Google account data. Unless the phone has a problem. or is it some APP that causes automatic restarts
What do you suggest I do?
I know I can take logs, but then I don't know how to analyze this log.
I will still test LOS and see what behavior

Now I installed LOS, I will see if in the next few hours there are random restarts.
If the device continues to restart automatically in LOS I install the xiaomi.eu ROM and if with this ROM the reboots continue then I am facing a hardware problem.
bump. updated

Crdroid issue
- How to set default data Sim? I was not able to find the way to set default data Sim card.
Crdroid and lineage os issue
- speed and accuracy of FOD is fairly lower than MIUI(stock or .eu whatever) , especially on the always on ambient display.
- brightness of always on ambient display is not automatically adjusted by sensor.
- always on ambient display is always shown on same point of screen. I am worried about burn in of display.
-Is there any to adjust the number of app alarm items shown on notification bar? Noti bar still have enough space but the icon is switched .(dot) and no more shows the rest of items.
I don't know where these issues are come from so I'm very cautious to say these things.
Can I expect these issues will be solved soon?
