I think it's the recoveries being used but I had the same problem and format data( yes) worked for me ?
That is after flashing everything rom and gapps.

i did a fresh install coming from xiaomi.eu - using twrp 3.3.1.7 from brigudav and firmware 20.2.25 as base - running crdroid for around 16 hours right now without any bootloop or restarts - all fine so far :good:

Hello everyone, I´m new with Xiaomi MI 9 Lite.
I´m, currently using "MIUI Global 11.3.5 (stable)", can I install this rom without installing any other firmware first?
Thank you so much for your support and best regards...
Paulo

my 9lite continues to restart from scratch or randomly. I do not know what else to do.
I changed recoverys, changed gaps, used without root and used without root, changed firmware.
I just didn't test the phone without restore my Google account data. Unless the phone has a problem. or is it some APP that causes automatic restarts
What do you suggest I do?
I know I can take logs, but then I don't know how to analyze this log.
I will still test LOS and see what behavior

If the problem happen with all Roms, the problem is in motherboard chip.

Now I installed LOS, I will see if in the next few hours there are random restarts.
If the device continues to restart automatically in LOS I install the xiaomi.eu ROM and if with this ROM the reboots continue then I am facing a hardware problem.

bump. updated
rom :
-merged LA.UM.8.8.1.r1-01800-QCS605.0 in display , media , audio hals
- upstream crdroid changes
kernel:
- merged tag LA.UM.8.8.1.r1-01800-QCS605.0
- merged last android stable patch ( 4.9.214 )
- sound control added
- Klapse added
- kcalc added

- maple , zen , sio , fiops i/o's added
- boeffla_wakelock_blocker added
- exposure_adjustment added

- alot other changes

Crdroid issue
- How to set default data Sim? I was not able to find the way to set default data Sim card.
Crdroid and lineage os issue
- speed and accuracy of FOD is fairly lower than MIUI(stock or .eu whatever) , especially on the always on ambient display.
- brightness of always on ambient display is not automatically adjusted by sensor.
- always on ambient display is always shown on same point of screen. I am worried about burn in of display.
-Is there any to adjust the number of app alarm items shown on notification bar? Noti bar still have enough space but the icon is switched .(dot) and no more shows the rest of items.
I don't know where these issues are come from so I'm very cautious to say these things.
Can I expect these issues will be solved soon?

xiaomi.eu firmware is mandatory
Followed instructions and everything works with Canary Magisk, but I get "No Sim" errors on this one. Reverting to LineageOS 17.1 works.
Edit: By this, I mean I can't access phone or messaging app. It acts like I don't have a sim card at all. "Not Available" under every field when I go to Sim Settings.

Yes I also had this problem of battery drain... I'll have to test tomorrow whether or not the Sim issue was fixed.
See it does not detect a SIM in either slot. This does not happen on other rom. I also don't know why it identifies as a Mi 8, I clearly downloaded the Perseus image and flashed the recommended MIUI version beforehand. Phone and messaging apps are working now as of the 10/22 build.
I should also note that it can't even get the IMEI info, which doesn't require a sim card to be inserted.

Thx Joel. anything can br done about signing keys to prevent security error?
Absolutely beautiful, thanks for continuing to support the z5 premium. You're the only dev left.
One thing I would change is I would rather not have the ROM force the LineageOS recovery on us. I'd much rather have TWRP (Also thanks to you for developing, and if you have the time to update it to TWRP 3.4.0 that'd be great)

Just to be sure this is a bootloop? The phone isn't stuck on the white Sony splash screen? Can anyone else with an E6883 device confirm that if this is happening? I only own the E6853 variant.
Also @HouseOfBricks I will look into getting TWRP updated at some point. Also I believe in the setup it asks if you wish to use lineage's recovery or not.

I'm running on an E6833, and it works totally fine. Realistically those two variants are exactly the same, with the only difference between the E6883 and E6833 being the LTE bands.

I have an E6833 and was on 15.1. I have tried to load 17.1 a couple times with no success, but I was able to get 18.0 just fine. The stuck on a boot loop issue is what I had when trying to load 17.1, so maybe try to install 15.1 and see if you can get that to work.
New Release 20201227
Change-log:
- Updated to lineage 18.1 sources.
Another thing I noticed is that the snap camera isn't as bugged as it was in the previous 18.0 release. This release seems more towards the "stable" side of things for me although I didn't extensively test it (do let me know if you come across any issues). I'll wait for reports of any other issues before marking it as stable. Lineage also hasn't started rolling any official builds for 18.X either, so I would like to wait on that as well.

Great.
Keyboard disappears instantly in one of my bank account apps.
so i can't enter numbers.
And Hotspot doesn't seem to work.
Also some apps that are root granted can not do superuser operations.
like copying a file into Android/OBB with ES File Explorer.
error 1 :/
hi!
my headphone jack is broken so i have to use sound switcher apps lesser audioswitch but android 11 does not support these apps
is there any apps that android 11 support?
HI dear joel16
Thanks for your hard work
I want to say, please zoom in one ROM,
You are working currently on 4 ROM,
and bugs of all 4 ROMS are same each other,
Fm radio and camera
But in this version, 18,1, also advanced restart option don't work,
And other third party camera apps don't have original camera quality,
Once again, thank you for your hard work,
You are only dev in xda who support Xperia z5 premium
I have been testing this rom, phone(6833)
-wifi seems to work better than 17.1
-Spanish language is not 100% translate
-camera works but is not very good, camera17.1 is better(quality in the photos)
-sim1 wokrs(calls,sms,etc)
-sim2 is detected but does not works, when making a call (network not available)
-Apparently the phone does not go completely into sleep state
-its temperature rises quickly in moderate use
-sometimes the battery drains quickly
that's all so far

You can do it editing /vendor/build.prop file using MiXplorer (you’ll need ROOT).
Search for the line “vendor.camera.hal1.packagelist”
After the = are the name of different apps. Delete one of these and put the package name of the app that you want to fix. For example, com.facebook.orca is the Facebook package name.
Per default, the ROM comes with Whatsapp, ZOOM, Snapchat and Instagram added. Maximum 4 Apps are allowed in this line and must be separated by comma ",".
If you don’t understand, open this link to see visual steps.
Fix Camera stuck
Sometimes, the camera can get inaccessible if an app was failed. If it happen, follow this:
Install this app. Open it and tap "Kill camera", then give it ROOT permissions. Done! Camera is working again.
Take in mind that if the camera is broken and you didn't do this, the audio in calls maybe not work.
GCam
This ROM can run GCam. Download a modded version for Exynos HERE. Thanks to Leonardo Estacio for his mod.
Games: this ROM works so good for gaming and can run ARM64 apps/games. If you feel lags, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Saver and performance > Performance Profile and set it to High Performance.
Video Review: if you want to see gaming performance and how this ROM are, you can watch this review video of the ROM in the J7 2016 (the ROM is the same for other Exynos7870 variants):
For close, i want to give a huge thanks to @Astrako - Without him this ROM haven't be possible <3

WiFi hotspot is working, here the screenshots:
The ROM MUST BE installed with a CLEAN FLASH. So the problem is in you, that didn't follow the steps.
Also, i can't fix anything if you don't provide a logcat.

Sir, to replace the Live Display that does not work, I recommend this mini tutorial to activate the Google night filter, you just have to decompile the Framework-res, find the line you see in the image and replace the "false" with "true" , compile the framework-res and voila, you will see that in Settings the Live Display has been replaced by the night filter and the reading function is also activated.

No, you only need to follow the instructions
(Repartition, format data, wipes, crDroid, Gapps, and if you install last magisk, first rename Magisk.apk to magisk.zip and flash)

Being on MIUI 12.0.5 RJUEUXM debloated I wonder about the best way to go to MIUI 12.0.6.0. An OTA update will not be available soon?

MIUI 12.0.5.0 is the EU version.
MIUI 12.0.6.0 is the Global version.
You just need to flash the latest Global version to get 12.0.6.0.

Smart charging and fps counter are fixed? Thanks for your good work
I installed it yesterday, everything works great. Down with the hat in front of the developer! I read a lot of info from all the topics that need to be installed. A working version from me:
(Vayu phone)
-Unlock the phone
-Remove any fingerprint and codes!!
-nebrassy twrp install, need an otg or sdcard with files! (mtp not working)
-boot to twrp, wipe menu->format
-without restart flash 12.0.6 firmware from sd or otg (https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/vayu/stable/V12.0.6.0.RJUMIXM/)
-flash the rom, mindgapps, magisk, dfe patch (Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip)
-restart
Great ROM. I hope it turns official soon.
For me to use Google Pay and pass SafetyNet while root, I only needed to use MagiskHide. Just make sure you hide it for:
Google Play Services
Google Play Store
Google Services Framework
If that doesn't work, just make sure to clear the data and cache of all those as well.
So far I went with unrooted ungoogled Installation without Magisk on my phones and just did use microG and signature spoofing to make most Apps I need to work (better):
- WhatsApp, Signal (Cloud messaging on helps at least in Signal)
- GCam (microG needed, for Portrait mode full features Google Photos needed?)
- Snapseed: QR-Look Style Import/Export (needs Google Play Services - was not able to activate this on my systems)
- Google Photos rather instable: Features Selfie/Portrait, Videostabilisation often crash
- Banking Apps: most do not work (fully) and every update can change the situation, had to leave N26 because of this
If anyone has a similar crDroid unrooted ungoogled on Poco X3 Pro or other devices setup and can share changes of optimizing tweaks I appreciate.
i bought a poco x3 pro vayu... I'm anxious he to arrive, unlock and to using crDroid. and see some functions that i'm used to using on other smartphones on this x3 pro. I will try to install via TWRP... thanks for the update

I have the same problem. I tried twrp amd orange fox and I have a bootlop. Previously I had miui 12.
EDIT
Solved - you have to format data after flash.
in the last version it keeps discharging and recharging continuously every 5-10 seconds when plugged in, anyone know how to fix it?

Corrects steps for to flash it, from Xiaomi EU rom are:
- Boot to TWRP
- Wipe all partitions
- Format data > yes
- Reboot TWRP
- Flash rom
If you follow these steps, no bootloop. I have flashed my device 100+ times and i never experienced a bootloop. All builds for descendant are tested with clean flash.

August update is out.
Excellent ROM I tried it and it is very fluid and intuitive, but I found a bug, when playing a video either YouTube or another it usually stops for 1 second in a period of 7 seconds of playback, and a suggestion regarding security, no let the power button work when the device is locked and give more restart options such as recovery, bootloader, also not allow to see the status bar when the device is locked, I appreciate your dedication and I will be pending your work

Sorry for the late reply,
For your bug on Youtube, i have not that bug on my device and any of testers or users of the rom.
For your suggestions lead dev of rom doesn't like advanced restart. For power button when device is locked, all roms, even MIUI is like that and same for status bar. All of that is from rom sources and i can' modify them like i want, it is an official build. Soon it will come september security patches build.
Thank you for your support.
