This will be my first thread, excuse me if it's in the wrong section, i posted it here because i thought it was the most certain area.
I have an Zenithink ( ZT-280 ) i could imagine the K5, double camera with amlogic board ( AML-8726-XMS ) . It is a present from a work mite since it won't install any rom. ( He probably tried to... ) I've been searching for weeks now and found the matching rom but when i try to flash it ( from SD ) it will install from original recovery and also finishes the installation ok, but on reboot, i eject the SD and the screen stays black ( backlight remains on ). It looks like it would install somewhere else or nowhere. I read that by doing the button combination for flashing the Nand could get screwed and it won´t install. If someone has a small clue what could be the issue, i would be really thankful.

so i have a vodafone joy 845 mobile and first thing i noticed what the slow android he had by vodafone.... so i found the thread about the Mr.Edition Custom Rom and did everything "by the book" and its now working better than before...
i recenlty found out tho about the merge of the celestial tea pot rom and the mr.edition one... and i want to install that rom !

the question is : which steps do i have to do again ?
-my phone is rooted so i skip the root step right ?!
- also i already did the superboot thingy the first time , i will skip that too ?
-i only do the recovery mode part which partition my sd card and the custom rom install parts ?!
- also : i did not yet grasp the JIT part.. should i enable it and how ?! like i flash the custom android ?

Hi There,
Please forgive me I am a complete novice when it comes to Android phone.
I have a chinese Dual sim phone that I have routed with superoneclick. I have put clockworks recovery on it with rom manager as I was trying to create a copy of the ROM. I also installed Droid X Recovery Bootstrap, however in droid x I pressed the fix permission option and the phone started changing permissions everywhere and now my phone wont start. It keeps booting up in a loop and I cannot get to the recovery to wipe the memory and start again
What SOC does the device use?
If its Allwinner based, you could boot from mmc or reflash with livesuit.

You say that you can boot from the mmc slot, please tell how and with what software.
Never heard of livesuit.
I have attached a word document in rar of the ebay item that I purchest.
Any help that you can give me would be very much appreciated.
At the moment I have a paper weight.

i have a dual sim android 2.3.4 chineese mobile with brand name ilus
i have the same problem after rooting the phone , i opened ROM MANAGER and when clicked for backup , it asked for clockworkmod recovery and searched for the models , as i didnt find my model , i scrolled any other options, i found fix permission , when i clicked it permissions were altered and asked me to boot and when i went for boot the phone stopped booting and is in boot loop
Kindly help me how to recover the phone , as i dont have the custom rom

Hey guys the good thing about this phone is that you cant brick it, it cant be hard bricked easily... but I suggest you go to this discussion and find possible solutions, I had same issue and even tho I never managed to fully sort the issue, its because of my laziness... i have an uppo8003 or something else (back to china after a touch screen problem and now the back is white), if you want to see it, no prob)
I wan't to install the firmware 1.4 from d90w or cm10 on it, but i wan't to make a backup before, and i can't install clockworkmod.
It's impossible to access the recovery, it's start on android and touch screen after.

I have downloaded a bunch of rom's in .img format but i could not get the right one that suites my tablet the last one i downlaoded was TRAGiC-A13-DEC2012-404-ICS\ its Ts is reverted in the opposite direction of my screen,, i was wondering if someone can provide me a compatible rom in .img format for me to burn on my sd card and flash it back to my tablet..btw my tab is 7 inch..

Hi im having the same issue , i (without making a backup) flashed a rom without TS from another forum by Toxicro, their are touchscreen and gravity sensor fixes on the site too that you flash with Livesuit 1.11. but none seem to solve my problem outright , i have two files that bring my TS back online but the TS is mirrored from the center ?, i found on another forum that i could FIX inverted axes on TS by editing the script.bin file by executing a changexy.cmd using a scrip-bin but even tho i revert the x , y and x_y axis the TS still responds the same , im still a noob when it comes to tablets but im trying my hardest to fix my mistake

HI...i have Acer A3-A10 32 gb version tablet 4.4.3 android
and my problem is that has been stucked in bootloop...and my power button is gone
tablet still haves stock recovery, and i can get into her, i have been exploring over the internet and i have found some articles that i can flash it with adb...but i am totally noob with it
