i have the sprint note edge: N915P. I am on Freedompop free plan. So, only data service.
i try to do a sim unlock, using this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJ6BYLIe78Y&t=53s (Sprint Galaxy Note edge Domestic Unlock).
I follow the video and got to the end, but i still got invalid sim, when i put in an ATT sim card.
I put back my sprint sim card, and did not get any connection.
I went to system and try to do a PRL update and got Internal Error (1104). I was able to do a profile update, it was successful.
after the reboot, i can see LTE, but after a while, its gone.
in the system status, i see network: unknown, service state : out of service.
help.
how do i get back my sprint service?

I unlocked my Sprint Touch Pro 2 and I am using an AT&T SIM card here in the United States successfully.
The first few times I used GSM mode, a menu would pop up and ask me which network settings I wanted to use (AT&T or T-Mobile).
Now, that menu is no longer popping up. So, I am unable to select the settings for AT&T. Data is now not working on GSM (the phone tries to dial #777 as if it is connected to Sprint).
How can I get that dialog box to pop back up and prompt me to pick the carrier settings? I'm assuming that is what will fix it.
Thanks for the help.
well, I got it working by manually defining the following parameters in a new gprs network connection:
Access Point Name wap.cingular
Username [email protected]
Password CINGULAR1
it works, but then when I go back to CDMA on Sprint, it tries to use this connection.
Is there an autoconfig program that I don't know about? It popped up on my screen when I first started switching between CDMA and GSM, but it hasn't come up again.....
How do I enable "auto-switching?" More importantly, why won't it just get this info from the AT&T SIM card? Why do I have to enter it for it to work now, when I didn't have to a few days ago?
Do you mind share the information how you unlocked your sprint pro2 (CDMA I assume)? I have same phone and want to use it in GSM oversea. Sprint customer Service told me it is not a global phone. can't unlock.
thanks in advance!
Trying to switch from CDMA to GSM, sprint to tmobile and tried 2 ways that haven't worked. 1st way involved selecting preferred network to global ,swapping out SIM cards ,selecting APN . The 2nd way was dialing *#*#72786#*#*, swapping SIM cards, while phone is restarting select APN, restart.
Our phone came with a free 1 yr service from FreedomPop. I'm suppose to be able to cancel service at any time.
I also took the phone to a wireless repair store and they told me the phone can't be switched to GSM. I've read that it can. HELP!!!
The main problem is that the phone can't send texts or call out. It can receive calls and texts.
I purchased a S6 on EE a week ago. Has been working fine with an ee sim, however I have not made any calls or texts yet, just using the phone for Internet on wifi etc.
I have a regular three sim which I would like to use so I have trimmed it down with scissors and this made me cut part of the gold contact bit off (I read online this shouldnt affect the sim).
I'm guessing this phone is locked as when I insert the sim it detects a new sim has been inserted, it makes me restart too. Upon booting up however it says no sim card/ emergency calls only however I see a solid connection. I cannot make any calls as it says not registered to a network or something.
Now my question is that is the phone picking up the sim card? If yes why is it not prompting me with a sim unlock code screen? Secondly is my phone not detecting the sim card at all? Is that the reason why I am not prompted with a unlock code screen? All help is appreciated. Thank you.
Go onto settings, then onto Mobile Networks, then Network Operators, then Search Networks then click the Three carrier. It will take a few mins to search for all the networks so do not back out.
I want to use a FreedomPop SIM card (T-Mobile network, I think) in my G900P for cell service, but I can't seem to get it to work.
With the phone stock, it displays the message "Invalid SIM" after inserting the SIM card. Switching to GSM doesn't seem to help. Also in the stock state, the phone displays "UNBLOCK" under the *#0011# info, and never asks for an MSL code (which I have).
I rooted the phone and put Cyanogenmod 13 on it, but still can't get GSM service. Cyanogenmod doesn't warn that the sim is "invalid," but even after setting to GSM mode (using *#*#4636#*#*), the network just won't connect.
(I also manually set the APN with everything I've tried.)
Is this phone even capable of using its SIM slot for GSM?
Thanks

If the phone isn't stolen and is paid off, simply call sprint for a domestic unlock. i just called about an hour ago to unlock an s5.
and if theyre being obstinate, you can always go to idoneapps.com and purchase an unlock there. Ive used it twice and it worked flawlessly, plus their unlock apk autoselects the apn for you and allows for debranding and data icon changing. I know the last 2 things can be done via other methods, but they just make it a 1 click thing. Pretty nice app

almost forgot, @stifilz can do the unlock too. He doesnt charge, but a donation to him for doing it is always a good thing
hello, I have a Samsung s6 edge+ from sprint (SM G928P). It was working fine with all the carriers in my country (El Salvador) But after a Reset, it did not recognize any sim card. It shows a message saying to insert the UICC sim card provided by my carrier.
The weird thing is that, sometimes, it barely gets signal, but no data. This is just for a minute and then, no signal with any carrier.
Is there a solution? I have the MSL code in case I can use it. I tried to activate global mode , but it did not work.
thanks a lot in advanced
