I want to apply an OTA upgrade to my Moto G, it has the stock firmware and is rooted with the bootloader unlocked too. I read that there shouldn't be any problem updating it, but i have deleted some google apps, like book, games, and movies. Will i been able to do the upgrade without this apps or do i have to intall them again?

The phone will not let you upgrade to 4.4.4 if you have deleted some apps. I tried doing it and it failed thrice. So I reverted to stock 4.4.2, upgraded to 4.4.4 and then rooted my phone again. I tried renaming the OTA and updating it manually as suggested in a few other posts here but it didn't work for me..

Stop software update

note 5 unrooted for now. i got the 6.0.1 update and i dont want to download it at this time to install. well it downloaded itself, so how do i get it to go away and not install without rooting?
Try downloading package disabler pro and disable the system update

how can LGv10 at&t H90021z with android 6.0 Marshmallow be rooted?

how can LGv10 at&t H90021z with android 6.0 Marshmallow be rooted?
Is there a real working method?
Unfortunately there's no root on MM, root only on Lollipop.
By the way, are you really on 21z? do you experience problems like fingerprint error, cant uninstall app, etc?
I just bought this phone, and it came with 21z installed. No fingerprint sensor issues or errors and can uninstall apps fine.

What CID is your phone?
@necktru,
I prefer to stick with my current Android 7.1.1, because it has much less restrictions
This update frequently pops up, i need to force stop it.....
Therefore i would like to uninstall it permanently.
What is CID in my phone ? Sorry, i do not know what it is........I am not a developer, am just a normal smartphone user
Do we need to know the CID info, in order to uninstall the "Updater" app ?

Next step installing twrp recovery via computer adb commands , many tutorials out there . I found this one and it seems pretty good,

i managed to solve this updater from prompting, but is only temporary solution
Go to this updater app, disabled everything........

Get back to stock rom

Hi, I've installed Lineage Os 20 on my OP Nord, but I noticed that some apps are blocked by safetyNet (banking apps mostly). I was wondering how to install the stock rom and block the bootloader again.
Thanks.
