For our N7 port to work correctly you must read and follow directions
* Your warranty is now void.
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, corrupted partition, or bootlooping shenanigans
1)You must be on PJ2 or above firmware
2)Clean Flash Teleport zip in TWRP like any other rom
3) For the Sprint network: Once the rom boots open the APN app. Hit restore APNS.
4) For other networks: open APN manager and look for your apn or add it. Select it and close the app
Enjoy LTE and SMS on your device. No other steps needed.
6) If you want the most fluid UI possible download a terminal emulator from the playstore.
-At the command prompt type su and hit enter
- Then type govtuner and choose option 3 once it loads.
(The GovTuner team really made this rom come alive. HUGE thanks Can't say it enough)

This has the CSC rebased to the USA and you shouldn't have any charging warnings or issues.

Well guys i cant flash it. My fault not yours. I cant upgrade to pj2 firm. I dont have a usb port on my note 5. Been like this since i got it pieced together from 3 note 5s all 3 had bad usb ports and im not separating my screen to change the circut board.
Any one know of a pj2 flashable in twrp then i can?
Thanks in advance

I Use Filezilla windows app and Root FTP server from PlayStore to copy files back and forth via wifi to the phone. It works great as a development tool for replacing system apps & files too.
---------- Post added at 12:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:15 PM ----------
And you might be able to get away with whatever firmware you're already running as long as its MM.

You can use FlashFire to flash one of my mini bootloaders to update firmware.
But be careful with it because if you lose root or custom recovery, it may be difficult to get back.
---------- Post added at 01:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:25 PM ----------
And the Pro upgrade of FlashFire (in app settings to upgrade) is only $3.25 so if it saves you, I would consider the donation because without Chainfire, you wouldn't have root and so many other wonderful things.

Thanks for putting this together.

Additionally, FlashFire by default will not replace recovery (TWRP). You have to uncheck 'preserve recovery' if you want to install a new or different version of TWRP using FlashFire.

apn backup
this is the apn backup u will need to restore not sure if the file is already included with RC2? but anyway here it is
so restore this apn then ##72786# reboot after signal goes out then everything works!

Yep, the APNs are included. You just open the APN app on first boot and scroll over to the right until you see "restore" hit that and wait a second. Open the dailer hit ##72786# and wait another min. Restart and you are good to go.
If you fast reboot after the first ##72786# (ScRTN) you won't have to do it again. If you full reboot you will. Questions are answered faster on telegram, but feel free to ask anywhere you guys feel comfortable. We really hope you enjoy the port!

This rom works great. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now as my daily. It's brought new life to my phone. On a side note, I only had to restore apn's on first boot, and run the ##72786#. I have rebooted many times and everything works fine after reboots. Nice work guys!!

Long days....Many nights...It's finally here guys.
We are very helpful people who really worked hard to get this to work.
Jacob put alot of love and effort into this please give him the respect and thanks he deserves.
Thanks to everyone getting it to where its at today, happy that it can finally be shared properly to everyone.

This Rom definitely has given life back to the Sprint Note 5.
Did a full clean install and followed all directions and it has been running flawlessly. In my case the rom did not come with apns but I downloaded the file and easily restored them through APN manager. Thanks to everyone involved, daily driver worthy for sure ! ??

This is deff my daily driver. Been running for months with the good and the bad and the ugly and happy to say its in a good place Remember if your someone like me and wants nothing but performance use the built in gov tuner thanks to gov tuner team set that badboy up on 3 and watch it fly. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask away alot of good people here to help out. Just dont ask why your GSM sim dosent work cant help you out there it works or it dont thats something u have to test on your end. Some GSM sims do work some dont. Its the luck of the draw

[ROM][12-7]TPC v3 2.3.5 | Da_G OC Kernel | IMG Flash | ATT | Rogers |

This ROM is based on the official Rogers Stock ROM, and has been optimized for both AT&T and Rogers users. It will wipe your data so be sure and do a nandroid backup before you flash. This ROM uses a new method to flash, it flashes a complete system.img.ext4 to the system partition...similar to an ODIN flash but without tripping the flash counter. The IMG file is modified from the original stock with all permissions preserved which should provide you with a ROM as stable as Stock Odin Flash and with all speed/features of a custom ROM. Special thanks to Da_G for all his help with the ROM, and providing us with a great custom kernel You should have a stable, fast, reliable ROM suitable for everyday use with this release.
changelog for v3
--added bootanimation...if you dont like mine you can get the ics one here. or stock sgs2 here
--added blue circle battery
--used completely new flashing method, for the ultimate in speed, stability, battery life.
--changed "favourites" to "favorites" in contacts menu(att version)
--added Rogers version for all you Canadians
--added Da_G's kernel, you can OC with an app like systemtuner, setcpu, etc.
--patched libhardware_legacy.so from Da_G to allow 192 min frequency.
--updated busybox and bash again(thanks Da_G)
changelog for v2
1. add EN USA language
2. added extended power menu
3. move all market apps to /data/app/
4. replace more Rogers files with ATT for better compatibility with AT&T network
5. added CRT off animation
6. added some tweaks for speed
7. change 4g icons to AT&T
8. added visual voice mail from AT&T
9. add AOSP gb keyboard
10. replace host file with adfree version
11. added rom manager, titanium backup, flashlight, systune(free version) updated other market apps
12. removed rogers bloatware
13. added sysrw/sysro to /system/xbin/
14. insecure stock kernel with init.d and busybox run-parts
15. updated busybox and bash---latest versions compiled by Da_G
16. added % stock battery
17. deodexed and zipaligned--includes script to automatically zipalign any new apps you install

it is good to see one of the master cheff here for this phone, only good things will come, i know
Just a quick Antutu bench-test using this ROM and Da_G Kernel
----------------
WiFi Sharing excessive CPU
TPC - I did find one problem, you might want to check it on your side as well.
I found out that every time on a new reboot. Once the system loads, Wifi Sharing start to poll on the cpu excessively. I can freeze it, then clear data then unfreeze and it would settle down, but once it reboots, the problem comes back. OR I can freeze the app completely.
But I don't think it should be doing this on a "normal" basis since it wasn't do this before when running the ATT stock.
could that may be causing the phone to heat up?
I was having that problem yesterday, wifi scan killing the battery.

thanks for reporting, I will give it a look after work this afternoon...cya on IRC
just posted to OP a patch to install visual voicemail for AT&T those of you who want it and also the ics and gb keyboards thanks to p4s for making it easy over on IRC.
The only "temporary" fix I know how to stop FTS (FilesTransferService) to eat up the CPU cycle is to:
1) If you have a program like Titanium Backup (paid), or System Tuner (paid), you can freeze and unfreeze it. It will stop
or try
2) Going in to Settings -> Wifi -> Wifi Direct and enable it for a few minutes and then turning off (but this method doesn't work 100% the time)
FTS/FTM/FTC is part of the WIFI Direct. As to why every time you reboot the phone the FTS goes to hell, still looking in to it.

i've never used hulu...does this zip work for our device? I will do some checking to see what all is affected and make sure it doesn't break something else in the rom. If the zip works, I really don't understand why it needs to be in the rom...not everyone uses hulu(example me).

Its basically just a hexedit on the libflashplayer.so. They change AND to WIN and the version to 99,9,999,999 type situation, so Hulu sees the mobile device as Windows and a high version number (to prevent saying the Flash player is out of date). It just gets overwritten the minute you update Flash through the market to a newer version. Personally, if people need this, they should be applying it themselves and not tampering with Flash binaries (which could affect other sites that are trying to determine mobile users)
There are other threads out there that detail the changes more thoroughly, that thread is just a "how to" posted by someone to take the trickiness out of it.
A slightly better solution in my mind is something like this thread which uses the official mobile app instead of hacking Flash. This one does work on our device too (tested by me):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257277
I'm not saying it should be incorporated to the ROM, but people should just follow the link and use it if they need Hulu.

thanks you save me alot of research time. From my experience in the past, stuff like this needs to be added by the user who wants it...not forced on everyone who flashes the rom. If the zips don't work for our device, i don't mind making the edits myself and making a zip...but it won't be cooked into the rom.
For now, you can change the locale easily with MoreLocale2 Just create a new local label is en US and thats it. I will try to have this changed by next version.

I don't mind doing it, but first priority is getting the rom fixed up like it needs to be. In the mean time, you could always grab a hex editor and fix it yourself...romracer just made an excellent post telling you how. The boot animation and shutdown animation are in a samsung file that is a format i have never seen before(my first sammy phone), but from what i have read there are no tools to edit them.
These are my first priorities with the ROM:
1. get full conversion to AT&T USA--language, locale, etc.
2. work out any bugs that may be in the rom
3. clean it up and optimize it for performance
4. unlock stock kernel and make a few changes that will not affect stability(no oc)
when all of this is done to my satisfaction, then i will move on to more "cosmetic" changes. Please be patient...I work 50-60 hours a week, have a family, am a moderator here at XDA, and occasionally like to kick back and have a cold beer

I am in no way responsible for what you do to your phone. Use at your own risk!
At long last we now have a custom recovery for the LG Esteem, actually make that 2 recoveries, Clockworkmod and Raidzero.
RZR is a Release Candidates and CWM is official and can be installed via ROM Manger.
USB Mass Storage doesnt work!!.
CWM, boot isnt listed in mounts and storage, thus cannot be wiped manually. This is normal for some phones.
RZR, boot is listed but will not mount and wipe manually.
Both zips contain scripts for windows and linux, just download to your pc, unzip, and run the appropriate one for your OS. Both zips are All In One, meaning it will root and install CWM or RZR in one step.
Download zip to your computer
Unzip zip
Connect phone to computer via USB cable
turn on and put into Internet connection mode
run the install script for your OS
Booting into recovery with the button combo is a lil tricky (gonna work on this) vol +- and power from power off, it will boot to the LG Reset screen, press power 3 times, dont freak out, it wont erase your data
, and then recovery will appear. Some ROMs are already in the works n will be ready soon, one including reboot to recovery options in the power menu.
Button Combo: VOL +- and POWER, press power 3x at LG Reset Screen.
App - Quick Boot
App - ROM Manager - no other features will work until CWM is submitted and officially built with RM support by koush.
NOTE: Root now works with either ZVB or ZVC thanks to djrbliss!!! Be sure to show him your appreciation!!!
Now for the goods
LG-Esteem-Revo_AIO.zip - Official CWM build for the Esteem available thru ROM Manager!
NOTE: I will be updating RZR as I get the few issues left fixed, but after that I wont be supporting it due to what all I already have on my plate. It is a nice recovery tho with a ton of features. Not for the novice or complete n00b IMO tho.
People to thank other than myself
mtmichealson - dev - help and assistance with development.
interdepth- dev -Transform - help and assistance in brain storming to find n fix for reboot issue.
djrbliss - for the new root for ZVC. Be sure to show him your appreciation!!
DRockstar - for his wonderful scripts I based my shell script from n borrowed snippets for the batch file
koush - for his awesome recovery.
Raidzero - for his RZ Recovery.
Testers - they all deserve major props for testing, bricking phones, patience, and understanding I/we have a life outside of Android.
Image - bricked 1 phone, had replaced.
youngnex - bricked 1, had replaced.
vistor831 - also donated an esteem to the cause, may it RIP! Much appreciated bro!!!
Ære - donated the Esteem I am currently using to dev with, well with vistor831's screen lol, much appreciated bro!!!
ShinySide - 1 brick, BOUGHT a new one.
nuttmeg - bricked 1 phone, had replaced.
redhook
Bigboyyumyum - bricked 1, got it back 98%, had replaced.

Hello all, we are working on porting CWMR to the LG Esteem. We have it booting and able to flash a boot.img. Problems we seem not to able to figure out tho is CWM reboot about 2min after booting into it resulting not being able to preform backups and testing of other functions.
Does anyone have insight to offer us on what may be causing the rebooting?

[KERNEL] Plague Overclock Kernel for LG Esteem MS910
no dedicated section yet, so i'll just add this in here
Ok folks, as we know have CWM working I can now post my custom overclocked kernel.
Its build from LG source and modified by myself with assistance from mtmichealson. It has a max oc of 1708Mhz (1.7Ghz) with scaling inbetween and even some lower settings added.
Its been running and very stable @1.7Ghz for all I know who are running it. It has 2 additional governors added, smartass2 and interactive. Smartass2 has been reported to revert back to ondemand or performance. I will correct this in a future build or make sure thats what its suppose to be doing.
I would like to thank our team of testers, they been a great help to me and mt, thanks guys!!!
The goods:
Plague Kernel
Download and copy to your sdcard and install with CWM or RZR. No wipes needed. Get SetCPU or similar app to set overclocking.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone!
Now we just need an esteem forum here on xda
i am looking forward to further development on this device!! i plan to purchase one soon and im more than willing to contribute!!!
Upon updating the Kernel. I noticed that the camera's UI has changed/ reverted to a earlier version. In my case its not allowing me to change the Megapixel settings. just giving you a heads up. I suspect this being the kernel because I have 2 Esteems. updated on with the plague. then updated the other phone got the same UI on the camera.
i cant seem to get into recovery after rooting.... am i just too slow?
Disregard that last message, i got recovery working fine and running the Esteemed rom as i type this, first i must say this rom is lightning fast... very stable and responsive. love it and looking forward to more development on this device!!!!

Great ROM! great work throughout. But I'm having some Bluetooth connectivity issues. The phone goes to "force stop" And never connects... I'm assuming your using the same Bluetooth files, so I find it odd that this is happening. should I re flash?

[CM][EXT4][PORT] aOS Alpha 1.1.4 [UPDATE 11/4/2013]

DISCLAIMER:
This ROM is based on open source licences released under the Apache licence and belong to Google, Cyanogen and JoyOS. I am merely borrowing their work. The credit for this port goes to the original devs over at Cyanogen and JoyOS, without whom this ROM wouldn't have come about. Further credit goes to PrinceEndymion88 over at the SGM thread, a121232 over at the SGM thread, deba1994 over at the HTC Tattoo thread and a few others, who brought about the JoyOS ROM into being for LDPI devices. I am not responsible if you follow the instructions on this thread and brick your device!
aOS for Galaxy Young
This is based on PhyscoGame's CM7 build and all credit goes to him for base ROM. The kernel has been updated to 2.6.35.14 & EXT4 as base without RFS. The whole system is now more responsive and has little to no lags.
So, you have wanted to use iOS but with Android's openness? Well, look no further, because aOS does just that! You have iOS' unique and pretty UI while not compromising on Android's customizations!
Changelog for Alpha 1.1.4:
New Phone.apk (Now looks much more like iOS (Check Screenshots)
Themed framework-res: Now popups look like iOS
Lockscreen slider and buttons now resemble iOS
Themed SystemUI: Added a dynamic status bar like iOS. Transparent on JOYLauncher, but not on other launchers. Changes to opaque black on certain apps and opaque blue like iOS on certain others. Changes to transparent on lockscreen and selected apps.
Changed the notification toggles. Now resembles iOS like switches instead of the metallic ones. Note: Have not themed the landscape yet.
Espier Launcher removed as default launcher. JOYLauncher remains. Look below in the mods section for a new launcher.
New Settings app. Now resembles iOS with updated translations.
Camera app modified to resemble iOS camera. Shutter animation added like on iOS. (Credits to Angeeks devs for base Camera.apk :good
APN configuration file modified. Now you no longer have to manually enter the APN settings for your operator. :good:
Removed Gapps due to update and licencing issues. Flash Gapps from provided zip.
New battery icon that looks similar to iOS, but not accurate.

Changelog for Alpha 1:
*JOYLauncher resized upto 90% (Thanks to PrinceEndymion88)
*Music player resized
*Espier Launcher added for better UI

*A2SD scripts added

What works:
Media scanning
WiFi
Radio (Calls and Data)
Hardware acceleration
GPS
Audio (headphone not implemented by PhyscoGame)
Known bugs:
Camera (not implemented by PhyscoGame)
Bluetooth
Screen glitches (due to incomplete graphic binaries by Broadcomm)
Force Closes on various system apps [FIXED!]
Chinese characters still present in a few places (please tell me where these are there so that I can translate and fix them) [FIXED!]
Troubleshooting:
NOTE: Since the base ROM is still in Alpha status, this ROM will continue to be too and will change over to beta and/or final status when the hardware acceleration is finally taken care of.
I have not received a single Force Close error in the past two days, and I haven't restarted since then. But it is possible that you may get these errors. Please report and tell me.
Upon receiving continuous Force Closes on system apps, reboot into recovery, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and apply "Fix Permissions" from the Advanced menu in CWM.
In case you experience any glitches, just rotate the phone. Flickering is not as severe as on other ports and there is no lag after usage even for 3 days!
Help the developer!
Porting JoyOS is a no-brainer, but resizing it, making it work and making it stable is! I humbly request the users here to post all the bugs that they encounter in this ROM. If you find a Chinese character or symbol anywhere, take some time off to post it here so that it may benefit other users too. And if any of you know Mandarin, they can pitch in with the translations since I know very little to no Mandarin.

deba1994 for his JoyOS port for the HTC Tattoo from which parts of this ROM were taken.
a121232 for his JoyOS port to the Galaxy Mini, from which I took inspiration to port JoyOS.
WhiteXP, for providing the original base ROM which I never posted here.
To various people from the Atrix 2, Ace and Gio forums who provided ideas to fix bugs on this release.
To the XDA Search Bar, without which I could never have fixed some bugs on this release.
My muse, who encouraged me and provided insightful ideas, however unwanted they may be.
And finally to deathn0tice01, aka Alan, duduaxe, bumslayer, Amal Das and a few others who helped me indirectly during this whole process.
Mods:
For the iOS look alike launcher, get it from here.
Flashing successful. Will report if bugs(other than the ones mentioned) found
EDIT: Other than the ones mentioned, haven't found any other bugs except for screen getting "distorted" which can be fixed by tilting the phone and color flickering is really low. Enjoyed every single time using this rom. I'm gonna wait for the next release ( till Psychogame fixed the USB connection on PC in his CM build)

Wait for the weekend. PhyscoGame will implement camera. Using another app won't work.
The only reason that camera works on WhiteXP based builds is because he has already implemented it while compiling CM.

INSTRUCTIONS
I Nor anyone from TEAM WICKED are responsible for what you do or happens to your phone. You except all risks that are involved with flashing this Rom or anything to your phone to make it one WICKED beast.
With this being a new version of android, there are a few necessary steps to take to insure smooth sailing when coming from 4.1.2... You must read this and then read it 2 more times.
I HAVE TESTED THIS WITH TWRP 2.6.3.0. MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR INTERNAL SDCARD. WHEN YOU FLASH 4.3 ROMS IT CREATES A NEW FILE STRUCTURE AND SOMETIMES YOUR OLD FILES MAY BE CORRUPTED.
1. Download the ML1 modem zip from **HERE** Thanks to invisiblek. Read what he has to say in that thread so you understand and hit the thanks button while your there for all the work he does for the communiy. transfer to your internal or external SD
2. Download Wicked Sensations to your PC and transfer to your internal or external SD
3. Backup your internal storage to your PC (One can never be TOO safe). Boot into recovery, and make a backup of your current setup there as well.
4. Wipe cache/dalvik/data/system
5.Locate where you transfered ML1 Modem, and install
6. Locate where you transfered Wicked Sensations, and install
---once installed, reboot system.
KEEP IN MIND THE FIRST BOOT WILL TAKE AWHILE. LONGEST I'VE SEEN ON ANY CLEAN INSTALL.
SYSTEMUI MAY CRASH UPON SETUP, JUST HIT OK AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN
***To enable developer options in Settings, go to Settings/More/About Device and keep clicking the Build Number until it says it's unlocked.
myHUB Instructions: Open the myHUB app and it will prompt you to enter a username. Enter any name that you would like. Then click Settings and be sure to choose your recovery that you are using. If you don't do this it may fc after downloads and won't reboot and install. Also the MyHub mods were all made for sprint Wicked Sensatins and although most will work fine for the verizon version of the rom be prepaired with a backup just in case something goes wrong. THe full themes in myhub are for SPRINT only and all verizon compatible themes will be posted here.

Questions And Answers
Question: Why do I not have data after flashing this rom?
Answer:
1. Be sure you flashed the ML1 modem.
2. If you did flash it go to Settings/More/About Device and make sure it says I535VRUCML1 in the Baseband version. If it says unknown or anything else, download the modem and flash again.
Question: Why is myHUB fc after trying to install a mod that I downloaded?
Answer: Be sure to go into myHUB settings and choose which recovery you are running.
Question: When I open up Xposed Framework, why does it say that the latest version of Xposed is currently not active?
Answer: Click that section that says that and click install. Once it says its done choose to reboot to activate.

Answer: NO!!!!!!!!! Not until they are updated for this version. We will definitely let you know when they are ready. Team Wicked themers are hard at work as we speak!!

Answer: I am trying to figure out why some are seeing this. It doesn't happen to most, but some are seeing it. Please be patient as I look for a fix.
Question: Can I restore data after flashing this rom from a previous version?
Answer: NO!!!! Take the time to set up everything again and you will see a lot less issues. PLEASE!!!!!
Question: Can I restore my apps and system app/data from Titanium Backup from 4.1.2 Roms?
Answer: No I wouldn't. Take the time to setup everything fresh when coming from different versions of Android.

Good point. I will try to add Q&A to the 2nd post when I get a chance. I was kind of strapped for time and will not have much time with my pc over the next few days. But I sure hope people are not just flashing without reading the instructions first. Going from 4.1.2 to 4.3 is a big deal and everyone should be aware of the risks. If you do not know what you are doing read, read, read some more and then read it again to make sure. I soft bricked my phone and was able to get it going again but please please please read the instructions and know what build you are on. ML1 is for us Verizon users. MK3 is most certainly not. Ok sorry had to get that our there. Now enjoy the rom.

I noticed that in the Q&A it said not to restore apps from titanium backup from a 4.1.2 rom.
I was wondering if it was just optional because I have always restored all my apps/data (never system though) whenever I would flash an aosp rom 4.2-4.4 and I've never had a problem occur.
Great job Mike! This looks awesome!

That's up to you. Go ahead and give it a shot but if you are noticing issues you might want to start over
before posting problems. I restored apps but not data and am having no issues.

Here's a good place to start for CM12 themes.
https://plus.google.com/u/0/communit...86113315228704
****Please Understand that the CM12 Theme Engine is in its early stages and some things may not work or function as they should. Use at your own risk and don't complain about themes in this thread. Our Team has worked really hard to theme this ROM the way we like it....The CM team has to get their theme engine bugs worked out, we are just happy to have it in there to play around with for now.....ALSO, please don't ask us about anything to do with xposed framework as Validus does not support xposed. Use it at your own risk and please don't report ANY bugs you may encounter while using it.

I found that all the 5.1 ROMs stay connected better if you delete all APN's except the one your using .

Connect WiFi 1st, when bars light up for phone signal,go into APN list fast and delete unused apn's. Hope this helps.
Same as you on reboot problem, resets all setting and sometimes reinstalls gapps all over again.

It did for me on This ROM,Candyvand Slim
Is anyone feeling that installations of apps are taking too longer or it's just me?
I do clean install this ROM and 5.1 PA GApps.
I love this rom but I'm having problems with it not letting me stay on the network

Why not asking for skyricket build in g+ page.. Hes always there. I did but he said to use t989 boot.img.. To me seemed faster but you need to enable fsync or any data will be lost.. I think its been fixed on t989 build.. And data netwok too ; think.

Ok so I switched out the build prop, update script and the apns conf.
It still took a bit to get all the apps optimized but the network came right up. Testing it now but so far it seems quite an improvement over what we had.
It's running much smoother. I'm quite impressed with the improvement

nope.. new rom and gapps will be up sometime today or tomorrow at the latest
Actually it's working very nicely after a second install. I'm unloading it to my Android file host account if anyone wants a copy let me know.
I developed a couple s4 roms and created some apps so I have an account
I won't be here long though because I'm getting a nexus 6
