Hey,
I don't know if this post is already closed. But i'm searching for a solution now for almost 2 weeks.
I rooted my phone and everything works fine. But after a while I unrooted my phone. After I did this I can't log in at the playstore or gmail app etc. The follow notofication pops up: Can't establish a reliable data Connection.
The phone I've got is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) on android 5.0
I already read almost every post on this side but nothing seems to be working.
I really hope there is somebody how can help me solve this problem.
Thanks allot already!!

Hi im new here and have rooted my phone recently and now something has happened.
I try to open the contacts tab in my Phone app and i get a error saying
"android.process.acore stopped unexpectedly."
I have tried almost everything...
-Factory reset
-Clearing cache
-clearing data on contacts and phone
-i don't have any frozen apps since i just reset
-no Facebook or Google plus installed.
I have searched for about 3 hours on how to fix and haven't found anything that works. =(
I have no idea how i can fix this. If i have to send it to Verizon, could someone also include how i can keep them from knowing its rooted?
(PS: i rooted with heimdall just in case you needed to know)
Thanks

I have been using my XT926 for some months in the UK now and have to say its a brilliant phone. Since yesterday however i have been unable to sync anything related to google (gmail, contacts, etc). I had rooted a little over a week ago so thinking something had gone wrong i performed a factory reset. The reset went fine and the phone booted up to a stock state but when it came to adding my google account i got the error "cant establish a reliable connection to the server...". At first i figured this must be a connection issue but after loading up the web browser i'm able to load all sites including google web mail so my connection is perfectly fine. I then got hold of my galaxy tab 2 and checked my google sync status on there - it was working fine. I'm now sat here with a phone that has no google services and i'm wondering what has gone wrong ? I've searched online and many have similar problems where clearing the cache or factory resetting has solved it but in my case this hasnt helped. Any ideas ?
checked this thread already, I assume!?

Hi Stefan, I hadnt seen that thread prior to you linking it so havent tried the solution. I'll re-root my device and give it a go but after factory resetting i'm sceptical to this working. Something would appear to be seriously wrong with my phone.
Hi Stefan,
Just wanted to say thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Rooted, deleted hosts file and all is working again. I guess the factory reset didnt restore the hosts file from when i previously rooted. I'm just happy to have this amazing phone back working again !
Great to hear I could help. thanks for the feedback - that's why I like this community. Have fun!

I installed AirDroid last night and it was working great. However, all day today I've been having issues with Play Store and general data connectivity issues. Downloads in Play Store will start but hang. Cleared data, cache and reboots multiple times. I've tried everything I can think of and Google, but nothing seems to work.
Anyone else experienced similar issues?
Thanks!
Ran out of ideas and had to factory reset. All working fine again. Wondered what went wrong!
Hey, I am working in AirDroid team now. If this problem happens again, please tell me and we will find a solutions for you.
And we are having our own forum in XDA now! http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/airdroid It's new and we are preparing for forum guide now. You can post threads about AirDroid there and we will reply soon.
Hi all, I'm fairly new to this but I've been digging all around trying to come up with different methods to get these two to pair.
I have tried installing different gear managers and not a single one has been able to detect my Gear 2, I can connect the two device via my phone's bluetooth setting, but what use is that, the manager is just always lost, scanning for days.
I have gone through quite a few threads, solutions seem so broad and numerous, giving up more hope with each click, thought I might make a thread pertaining to this conflict; I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.
Questions:
-Is it required for my phone to be rooted? (Throughout threads i havent been able to tell if it was a requirement)
-How might I connect these two devices?
-Why Samsung? Just why....
Asus Zenfone 2 (5.0)
Samsung Gear 2 (Currently on 0A2)
This is funny, I am having the exact same issue right now. This is a cool watch and I have tried 4 different managers and they do not connect at all. The watch connects via bluetooth but yes its totally useless without a gear manager. Tried all forums and methods but they do not want to communicate. Unfortunate for me I dont want to root the the Zenfone 2 until marshmellow 6.0 comes out for it. Any help on this would be great.

Glad I am not alone on this issue, I don't think I would even mind rooting my phone if it meant getting the two to connect, just because of how easy it can be done on the ZF2, opens up alot of options besides just connecting to the Gear 2, but I did just buy this thing and like you said its a pretty cool watch, I would like to get it somewhat operational T_T
EDIT:
CONNECTED!
Not sure how I came across this tutorial with a WORKING Gear manager, it worked for me and hopefully it works for you as well Shizmac and any1 else who may be experiencing a similar problem.
Just follow these steps, 2nd post on page 26 (thanks to kingakurma):

Edit #2:
Given this fix, now just running into problems with features of the Gear. In the gear app when attempting to send tracks for music player, goproviders crashes, saproviders crashes when trying to access messages settings, also having trouble syncing contacts, messages and all. Time to do some more digging, at least it operational now
hey nine......super kudos for finding that thread and braving the 52 pages to find the fix. I did it last night and it worked flawlessly, with ofcourse the notifications failing due to the saproviders and they are not samsung. I went into the notifications tab in the phone and turned on the gear to receive notifications and those are working well now too. They are just not samsung format, o well cant have everything. I guess the next thing is to find a fix for those notifications and contacts since only like 1/3 contacts came over and to get the samsung notifications back. Regardless, not having a paper weight is awesome. I originally ran across that thread, but after the 1st method did not work, I quickly moved on to the next. I have some slow days at work coming up, so I will be deep in finding a fix for the notifications, thanks for digging that thread up!
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, which I bought 6 months ago unlocked(new) and using T-mobile sim. For the past few weeks, I am having issue with the phone getting restarted too often and usually hanging on the Samung logo.
First this happened when not using Wifi and using mobile data plan. I came to the conclusion on that because it happens whenever I try to open a webpage or internet using app on mobile data. But when on a Wifi network, it doens't restart. After going through some forums, I did clear cache initially and later to a point to do a factory reset.
But the issue has not yet gone. This week, the restart is too often. I don't have any other app installed on the phone other than Whatsapp now. Last day, the restart happen when trying to send a video through that app (photo's send fine)and it keeps restarting.
Yesterday. I tried to download a anti-virus software and cleanup software(good one with trusted ) and when trying to open it, again got restarted. Now I think its something related to memory issue. Maybe that's why it restarted when sending video, as it has to compress the video before sending.
Has anyone faced this issue?
Is there a fix for this?
What can I do to make sure, it doesn't happen again?
Hi there and welcome to Assist,
That antivirus does nothing on your device, only consume more power.
Try to re-flash stock firmware and see if restarting is stoped.
You'll have to create an account to post in the main forums if you have any other questions.
