androidlover5842 made this recovery and i tested it before uploading here
And credit goes to him for building one for core
Ahh, one request, remove button bootloader and replace with download cause core duos doesn't have bootloader mode, add this flag to the boardconfig :
# for disable bootloader button since this device doesn't have bootloader partition
TW_NO_REBOOT_BOOTLOADER := true
# enable download mode
TW_HAS_DOWNLOAD_MODE := true
# disable cpu temperature this device doesn't have this too
TW_NO_CPU_TEMP := true
I have no tested this recovery, but some unused button must remove so that user didn't have problem with that button, overall thanks for him for his build

Hex-Firmware is a patch to be Flashed cleanly before flashing any roms from now on.
All the details about ARM64 and Hex are already there in my Resurrection Remix Thread Update.
Please Refer Here.
I'm on a cm 13 based rom with twrp 2.8.8.7. can i flash the hex firmware from 2.8.8.7 recovery? And after that can i upgrade my recovery to 3.1.1 by flashing it via 2.8.8.7 recovery?

You can flash this TWRP but you may not be able to flash ROMs, because of the changed things at the root level. It is suggested to flash the lollipop firmware before flashing Nougat ROMs otherwise you'll end up with weird bugs and even bootloops.

If you flash with Flashify then most probably it'll be flashed. The better option is to open up your current 32bit recovery and in Install, select Install Image, then select the downloaded recovery and flash. For partition selection choose Recovery.
