Hey guys. I have an XA and i unlocked the bootloader, add twr etc.
The problem started when i did a "factory reset" from the twr recovery.
Now the phone bootloops all the time. I tried to flash some ftf's but it always shows an error about fsc file.
Any ideas?
PS: I used latest flashtool, download ftf from inside the flashtool with xperifirm but still the same error.
Please be more specific. What kind of bootloop? Stuck at Sony or xperia logo? model number?
One thing for sure: you should "format data" and not "factory reset".

*EDIT*: I fixed it by flashing the phone with EMMA, now i must change build prop to get latest version
F311
Stuck at "Xperia" logo.
I did a "format data" afterwards, still same result.
Got also a Soft Brick on my Xperia. I get to the "Xperia" logo. I can't fix it with flashing with EMMA.

I also brick mine again by uninstalling magisk.
This phone is ****.
Hi, flash the full firmware again with Flashtool (exclude all TA partitions), not with EMMA, reboot the device one time and root again.

You used fsc after closing Xperifirm ?
What is the version of Flashtool?
You have a XA, not a Ultra?
Was now able to flash it succesfully but it still doesn't start.

I downloaded latest firmware from XperiFirm in Flashtool, no fsc file and no question to create it. I use latest version of Flashtool and XA F3111.
Can you upload an FTF with the fsc file?

I'm not at home for the weekend, I can send it on Monday. If you have time you can download the 33.2.A.3.105 firmware and extract the fsc file, I think that only the last firmware have it missing on XA. This problem was not reported before the .70

Same problem with me. When i am trying to flash my phone it keeps prompting me to connect the device. In my case Sony logo appears and the green led is there when i flash. But during the flashmode process the phone turns itself on and gets stuck in the sony logo. And the flashtool promts to connect the device.

but do not turn the phone on yet.
extract the boot.img from this stock zip and flash it in fastboot.
now you have got stock kernel and stock firmware installed.

1. first let flashtool prepare the files and when it asks you to commect the phone then only hold vol- and plug usb.
2. if that does not work for you do what i just said. install cm10. since you have unlocked bl, you can flash cm10 without any problem.

I think lol but when i went check it says
Bootloader Unlock:Yes
you dont need unlocked bl to flash ftf stock roms..... I think there is problem in loader.sin
Maybe this firmware works http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2049602
1. did u enable usb debugging?
2. do you have all drivers installed?
3. Bootloader Unlock: Yes ,doesn't mean that you have unlocked bootloader,it means that you can unlock bootloader if u can! And yes you don't need unlocked bootloader for flashing STOCK ftf files
Header error means your loader.sin is corrupted like drummer already said. Most FTF files have incorrect loader.sin files. You need to manually replace the file as soon as the FTF has been unpacked for flashing. So:
1. Click this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1504171&d=1353649357
2. Go to flash tool, click flash button, select the firmware to flash, with your phone still disconnected.
3. As soon as flashtool shows the 'connect phone screen' go to firmware folder inside flashtool folder, inside is a new folder with the unpacked sin files.
4. Replace loader.sin with the downloaded one.
5. Connect ur phone in flashmode.

Like I said, I followed this tutorial (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2333078) and they ask to flash the recovery.tft file at step6.
And the flash does not complete. It stays so and my phone freezes until I disconnect it that aborts the flash but I waited 30 minutes before I disconnect it.
And my phone is not broken after this fail. I reboot it and it simply starts again without problem...

so are you telling me, your phone boot & working normally ? then you don't need re-flash 2nd ftf file ( "JB31.ftf" ) or SUS.
then try again with tutorial. ( flash tool not properly working with windows 8 )
I'm on windows 7.
And yes, my phone works totally fine. BUT I do want to boot into CWM ^^ and that doesn't work. I'm doing again and again this tutorial : install.bat works great but then I need to flash this recovery.tft because the CWM is not definitive as I understood. So I turn off my phone and connect it with vol- pressed, flash begins then stops... Weird.
I can unlock my bootloader but I would not want to. If nothings works, I'll do it...
Actually I identify the problem: flashtool do not recognize the recovery.ftf ! I tried to flashed the kernel ICS...
How can I solve this problem? It seems that a lot of people having this issue to : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49167339&postcount=76 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49746942&postcount=81
And here the solution : I just had to remove the external sd card before flashing....
To any1 else having this problem, I would suggest unlocking bl cuz it opens up so much.
Hello everyone, hope you can help me :crying:
first of all, sorry for my english :silly:
few months ago i bought xperia z3 and when it was possible i made root, made backup of drm keys and with flashtool unlock and relock bootloader few times.... I have no problem.
last month i tried windows 10, and give me some problems, when i tried to go back to windows 8.1, i can´t, so i format my pc.
After reinstall all, i tried to unlock bootloader (with last version of flashtool. last time i can unlock , i used an outdated version) but i cant. Flashtools give me this error:

i tried with KK 2.93 , last version of Lollipop, with root, with no root, i tried with cmd too, but always same errors:
FAILED (remote: Command did not succeed)
or
Phone is already root
Service info shows me that i can unlock my bootloader, but i can't.
Flashtool give me only the option to unlock, so my phone is locked, i have recovery, and if i install a rom like CM or Glade, show me an error like: this rom is for c6603 and this devices is Leo. if i edit build_prop it shows me other error, but i cant flash any rom, so my z3 still lock.
if someone have any idea or know how to fix this....
thank you
What does it actually say in the service menu about your bootloader?
EDIT
Have you sorted out the file structure within flashtool to reflect the fact you are unlocking again?
The best bet will be to do it via fastboot without flashtool. Follow the instructions in the Sony website.
i try it via fastboot but i have an error:
FAILED <remote: Device is already rooted>
i try it with KK no rooted, KK rooted, and same with Lollipop.
About this:

I don't know how to do it, it's possible that could solve my problems...
Can you please tell me what it says about your bootloader in the service menu?
Read this to sort the folder structure out
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51604352&postcount=22
it says:
Rooting status:
Bootloader unlock allowed: YES
Have you installed all your drivers in win8.1? Don't forget you need to boot in a special mode for unsigned drivers.
You can use http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how...8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/ as a Howto.
When you've booted in that mode just start flashtool and choose install drivers from the menu (or go to the flashtool folder and start driver.exe)
