[Q]: no space on /system, add TexLive binaries to /system/bin before flashing?

Hello TeamEOS and modders!
thank you very much for your great work in the Xoom MOD! Its just amazing and i'm using it for several months now.
Recently I wanted to install an Android Port of TexLive (see code.google.com texlive-for-android/) on my Xoom. the problem occurs that a lot of TeX Binaries have to be copied to the /system/bin folder. Flashing your ROM leaves about 1MB free space on /system, even deleting unnecessary apps and bootanimation frees not enough space. The package uses about 80MB. The only solution would be to resize the /system partition, something I read is not possible.
Can I at least copy the files in the ROM image before flashing and would this allow the /system partition to resize automatically?
Thanks in advance!

[Please Help] Resizing /system and /data partition

Hello all developers,
I wanted help in resizing /system and /data partitions on Samsung Galaxy Ace. You see we got unofficial CM9 by Maclaw, which is the only way to get ICS on our now low end device.
The problem with it is that it takes up almost whole 205 MBs system partition. Even if we delete some heavy apps and replace them with lite ones, We dont get much space for MODs.
Our galaxy Ace doesn't have a fastboot mode to use mods from the LG optimus Gt540 developers.
Can someone help in increasing /system space?
We can resize the /data partition and use link2SD or some scripts for Data partition.
Or
Is there any way to link system files to Ext?
Please help.
Maybe this?

[Q] /system partition size?

So i was trying to port some stuff from Note2 rom onto the leaked 4.4.2, and copying the files kept failing.
I was trying to find the issue until i found only 22MBs free in my /system partition.
is there like any way to resize it or maybe take some from the internal sdcard?

[Q] Is it possible to resize partitions after getting S-OFF?

I've been looking everywhere and I can't find an answer to this question.
After you get S-OFF is there any way to change the partition sizes?
I've just installed CM 10.2 which only takes up about 450MB of space on the /system partition. Since this is currently set at 1.6GB, that's over 1GB of space wasted. It would be great if it could be resized somehow.
Thanks
It's really depressing that no one has an answer for this...

storage issue

Hello, I have this phone (8gb) since August and never noticed how much storage I have until now because it started notifying me storage was full. Well, it says total space is 4,53gb and without /system 3,60. So my question is, where is the 4gb of storage that I don't see? I was hoping it was occupied by /system but it is not. We're talking about a half of the storage and it's unbelievable that I cannot use at least 5 of the 8 I've payed for.
Any help would be very appreciated!
4.53 gb is your /data partition(user apps and data are stored here), other space is used in /system partition where all system files are located.

it was possible to resize partitions in many phones and there are also apps available on playstore for it. but you should reset it to default before flashing any rom. :/
And do you think reducing /system may be a problem?

when I was using stock, my system partition was filled by 1.5gb from 2.19gb. there is still some space there but you shouldn't reduce it because it will get filled over time with app updates. and there will be problem with ota updates if you resize it.
