I have a KD head unit with malaysk rom: steering Wheel commands work fine but I don't know which protocol i'd use for my canbus: raise, simple, hiworld?
Can someone help me?

Well if your steering wheel commands work you probably have the right setting for Canbus.
To be sure you can take out your HU and visually check the canbus decoder (it's a square plastic box). On mine there's a label that tells Raise and the car model and make it's meant for(I think it's the canbus decoder manufacturer).

Probably I make a mistake: I haven't got an aftermarket canbus decoder. I installed my HU simply plugging the cables (without a canbus decoder), I setted steering wheel commands using the factory settings of HU.
Should I buy a canbus decoder?

That regularly happens (well at least it does on T-Mobile, where i am). Both my One S and MyTouch 4g (might have even happened on my Vibrant) exhibit that behavior. It has never stopped me from properly connecting though, perhaps you have another problem?
As for a reason why it happens, my best guess is power management.
mmmm.. I don't know... it, s a costant switching.. not only a simple change when you lost some bar of signal... sometimes this stop data connection as far as it choose one typ 3g or H+ and fix it.
I read that this issue are solved with update to android 4.0.4 but it's not true.
Maybe It's an issue related to fastdormancy function.. but I don't know in this case how to solve.. for galaxy S there is an app for fastdormancy but iT's not compatible with HOS.
Inviato dal mio Transformer TF101 con Tapatalk 2
There is a build.props option for turning off fast dormancy
ro.ril.fast.dormancy.rule=0
there is also stuff like this, but I'm always weary of editing my build.props in an undocumented way.

I honestly haven't spent more than 5 minutes on the stock rom so I couldn't tell you if there is a code for the One S that turns it off, but a google search turned up nothing (for both the hos and the hox), so my best guess is yes.
Ok thank you so much blinksilver

Hi all I'm looking to see if it's possible to use two otg cables on one device .
I know there's y cables but I didn't want to put them in just in case
What I want to do is plug a video capture card into a nexus 7 and a telemetry usb as well and run both apps together so I would have
My telemetry on one side and my video on the other side .
It's for my quadcopter .
Any help input would be great

It would work, if you use a Y cable.
Another question : if you connect only telemetry works? and if you connect only video capture card works?
Yea my telemetry works and my video capture card does but I want to run both the same time . Will get a y cable

Yes you will need a Y cable, but i dont say if the tablet offer a supply necessary for all 2 the devices.

Hi everybody! I want to buy bluetooth mouse and keyboard (I don't like the trackpad, that some bluetooth keyboards have), but can I use them together at the same time with the OPO? How many bluetooth devices per time can the OPO support?
Thanks to all

I just bought a new unit it does have a ir receiver in front next to disk drive. It came with no remote. I'm also curious to the question and if a universal remote would work? Even better if a wireless keyboard ....
A wireless keyboard needs drivers.....Try auniversal remote software for android (you need a phone with it, is:Xiaomi mi4)
I contacted joying knowing that they won't sell the parts but I figured I'd try hopefully they get back to me tomorrow. Any chance you could take apart your HU and post a picture of ir and where it is soldered in

What would be the easiest way to achieve this? Is there an Android tablet I can buy that has no wireless hardware? If not is there one where it's easy to remove or otherwise destroy/disable the hardware?
If not, what is the best way to securely disable all wifi and bluetooth connectivity?
Wtf why you dont want wifi and BT ??

You're reading the wrong thing, their reply to you is above the box showing the post that they quoted. The part underneath that mentions Tapatalk is the signature that shows below the posts that they make using the Tapatalk app, this part us not what they were trying to say to you. Their actual reply to you was the part above the quoted box, the part asking you why you don't want Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

What does why I need it have to do with what the solution is?
Because I need it for an application that doesn't require any wireless connectivity and any wireless access is a security liability. The alliterative is building something with a rasberry pi without a wireless chip but it would be much easier and faster if it was possible to just buy a tablet off the shelf, because my application does require a high resolution camera and a small lightweight form factor (i.e. hand held and battery powered).
Tablet Without Wifi
I only know about this tablet which is without wifi Hipo OEM ODM Android Tablet PC without Camera wifi OS SIM Call

There are none that can do this out of the box, the only way you're gonna do this with a tablet is to modify the software to completely remove network connective functionality, or manually turn off the radio each time before using the app. Otherwise, figure something else out.

Any recommendations on the easiest way to modify the software?
Are there any specific tablets where it's easy to remove the hardware?
Thanks.
