Hi guys, i wanna know if you know solve this problem
The J series of galaxys, have a display problem I think it is. The screen over time, when lowering all the brightness starts to blink, I solved it by downloading an app in the play store called Night Mode, but if I do not have the app the problem continues, now you do not see much blinking, but on passing The time will be worse because it will increase, does anyone know how to solve this problem of the screen?
(I had two samsung galaxy j1 2016 and both had this problem, and I read people who have had j2, j3, j5 and j7)

I was told it is a hardware issue. You can still send it in if you are covered under warranty. They'll even give you the postal shipping labels.

Hello guys,
My gear 2 camera stuck on blurry and I can't do anything about it. I've tried so many ways changing Tizen versions, formatting and rooting the gear 2 ,,etc
None of them worked and its been almost 6 month my gear 2 camera are useless, Can anyone help me to fix this issue?
Is it related to hardware or its software?
Thanks for anyone who have a clue to help me out.
It's a known issue so I was told camera gets stuck in macro mode, try doing a close up shot to confirm.
The focus mode is on Automatic but still working as micro mode!
So it means there is no solution?

Has anyone ever seen an issue like seen in the picture (horizontal dark bands across the Gear S2 screen). I've only had the watch two weeks and this happened. I've tried soft and hard resets to no avail.
I have the same issue and can't find an answer to it anywhere. My S2 is only a week old

Since it is still under warranty I filled out an online request for service. They emailed me a shipping label and I sent it off to Plano, TX on Saturday. The status today says "Replaced LCD" and now it's back in the mail to me. We'll see...

No. I actually fixed it today. There was a recent firmware update on the watch and one of the custom watchfaces that I had previously installed must've been causing the problem. I did multiple factory resets, but I keep trying to keep the watchfaces that I had already downloaded...that wasn't resolving the issue. I did a complete factory reset today and wiped out all the custom watchfaces and the problem disappeared. I'm happy now!! Thanks Mikoube for your help!!
You're welcome
Hello! I'm having the exact same issue. Can you explain what you did to fix it? Did you erase all the downloaded faces and then do a hard factory reset? Or vise versa? I'm at work right now and would love to achieve your same results since it happened 2 hours after my Warranty expired ??.
Here's how I fixed mine: Sent it back for repair. Waited a week. Received a fixed watch.

Hey shinta,
The fact is that one off your watchface is causing trouble to tizen. So Try to make a full factory reset. It should solve your issue.
So i got these same lines on my device lastnight. It is mainly noticable when I turn on Aod. I dont want to bother with rma on a 2 month old device if this is going to fix itself. I tryed a few resets and its still there now. I dont mind waiting a few days though.
edit:
My gear s2 screen is working fine now. It only had the lines for 3 days. I will keep a close eye on it though and update if it returns.
Same issue, I did factory reset and deleted all downloaded Wacho faces . Still the problem!

The bands were back a few weeks ago... I figured that when I set the brightness to "1", the band are little and when I put on "10", they are bigger.
So I tried to let the watch during 1 day with a brightness of "1". The day after all band were gone...
Hope this can help some of you guys.
Enjoy.
Same problem with the screen of mi gear fit 2 band, resolved only changing the screen

Same problem here, I turned it on, and it was fine, then I UPDATED a few apps and faces and lost network, after that the problem started, so I belive its a software issue and not hardware, could be coincidence, its a month old watch...
My watch is 5 months old and I just have this problem last night
Galaxy S7 screen not responding to touch sometimes. The bottom portion of the display is affected. I tried 6 different S7 and all of them have the same problem, test yours like this and tap gently not hard, when you press hard you press 3mm on the screen and that is a lot ! The problem is worse when the phone is cold (20C) This is annoying because the place where its not working is the same place where the space bar is and the "." Does anyone else have that exact problem? Here is a video of the problem : https://youtu.be/OW_FQBMcuOE

Install Phone INFO app (green adroid logo) see when the phone is manufactured, mine is 2016.02.18 ! maybe the first batch of the production have that problem! We might be on something here!!!
There are two threads already open with this situation.
I have this problem at the same location you demonstrate. The right side has this problem too. From bottom right to the top 1 cm and 2 or 3 cm up you are going to reproduce the same thing.
I get used to it but it is very annoying. Never liked Samsung because of this things. They use low quality material all around. I will never trust them.

Just received H9 update and the release notes did not mention anything about LCD, touch screen or anything related to it.
But since the update, I've been trying to reproduce the problem trying to find the blind spots and for my surprise I did not find anything. The touchscreen is perfect and I can feel it is more sensitive.
Before the update I could reproduce the problem very easy! Now it is perfect.
The update here in my region (Brazil - ZTO) was about 170MB. Samsung Cloud was introduced.
Wow, mine was manufactured 2 weeks ago (2016.08.16) and I've owned it since about the 24th too, so it was 8 days old when I received it
I bought the Samsung J7 model SM-J700T from Tmobile a few days ago. But I dont see an LED notification light on it. Does this phone have it or not? I read that the 2016 version has it. But I should have the 2016 version since I bought it a few days ago. Can someone confirm this?
Can someone also tell me if I got the 2015 or 2016 version?

Because I thought this phone had everything I ever needed in a phone. I never thought that it lacled LED notificatiion. This is my only complaint. If it did have it, I wouldnt need to return it.
But I think I read somewhere that the international version has LED notification.. But I'm not 100% sure.
For anyone looking still looking for the answer to this question, I just found it on my J7. Go to Settings - Accessibility - Hearing - then turn on the Flash notification. It using the front facing camera flash to notify you.
Nice find?!!
Question - how long before the flashing stops?

J700t is a 2015 variant with 2gb ram so it don't have an led
It flashes the back light instead of the front facing light
Then why does it have the option in message settings? I tried it but never comes on. I don't understand why there would be a led color setting but no led light on the phone
Nope
Nope buddy, For your device i think it won't has one. Just have a look at the manufactured date on the box.

So my GALAXY S5 display after being replaced 2 times in 6 months started flickering. My phone is very hard to be turned on because of the green flickering.
I just want to upgrade to a S6,S7 Edge or non edge. i just want to know if they have the save problem with displays ? I want to have a phone at least 2 years, can you recommand me a phone like that ?
I was just considering switching to a iPhone even though i prefer android on phones ... how are S6,S7s displays ? Samsung still have the same problems or they have learned their lessons?
Because i still see on youtube flickering problems on S4,S5,S7,S6
I don't suppose it is something common. I have s7 for 6 months but I haven't encountered with such an issue.
I've had an s5 for year and a half, and my dad is using it now, so it's being used more than 2 years and it works flawlessly. Currently I'm on s7 and also no flickering. That isn't a common issue I think.

My problem with s5 gets worse on cold wather.
So there are very small chances to have problema with display on the newer devices?
