Looking for an app similar to Friend Stream

OK, i have looked around, pretty sure there isnt one, but could be wrong... here is what i am looking for:
If i could find a "friend stream" (from HTC Sense) type app that would work without the sense launcher i would be in heaven!
Requirements:
have a running stream of facebook and twitter updates in one place
ability to post to FB and twitter at one time (obviously would be the same message)
Would like to easily retweet/repost/reply
Would REALLY like a widget
must NOT be a battery drainer
would like it to look nice, but this is on the bottom of the list for a reason
Man.. really seems like this should be out there somewhere but i cannot find it.

I would also like a alternative app because every time I open friend stream, It force closes on me EVERYTIME!!!

Pure Messenger is actually a lot better than Friend Stream. I'd use it instead even if I was running the Sense launcher.

I actually purchased the Pure Messenger way back when i had my Mt3g but wasnt that impressed. I didnt remember that it integrated with twitter and facebook either... I will install and try that as well!!

Using what app?

So, here are my thoughts... Socialite is really cool... But not quite as solid at this point as what i would like but MAN its got HUGE potential.. I REALLY like it but it didnt seem to update and i really didnt like the fact that FB and Twitter were on 2 separate tabs... but other than that.. this is AWESOME (oh and it needs a dark theme but really no biggie)
i did reinstall the PureMessenger and although not as "cool" as Socialite, its solid, works great, and does what i need it to do! THANK FOR THE TIPS!!!

There's also the Android Pro Widgets, which you can have a widget that does Twitter and Facebook at the same time. That's the one I use. Drop it full-sized on a page and drop the transparency to 0. I've done that with all of the widgets APW provides and I love how they look and operate.

+1 on Android Pro Widgets They have a solid widget pack and work better than Sense stock in some way and have added functions. I only have Facebook mapped and there I can see a small thumbnail of posted pics, links, etc see only my wall, post comments or post status updates on the fly.

[Q] What apps should i delete to improve performance on my Tipo?

Hello!
I recently got Go Launcher Ex for my Tipo and configured it, now it runs pretty nicely.
But, since i use Chrome (Not Default Browser), PowerAmp (Not Default Player) and so on, i would like to know how much stock (And Google Default) apps i can delete/disable preserving my phones integrity, i want to do this so that i can economize RAM on the device.
I already have rootappdelete, which kind of shows this, but i would like some experiences shared, just in case. :laugh:
Also have Boost my Xperia, LuckyPatcher and SU.
Btw, i live in Peru and i got this phone from Movistar.
The Device is Rooted, but it has a Locked Bootloader

drop golauncher, use launcherpro, remove recommender, help, setup, anything you do not use.
disable apps(google talk, mail if you do not use them)
do not use facebook at all, use the messenger only if you have to chat.

You can also delete the following if you install other equivalents:
Gmail
Gallery
Messaging
On installing titanium backup, you can remove timescape, twitter extensions.. You can also disable facebook and it's extensions. Home screen tips can also be removed

lol, i actually left out messaging.DO not delete messaging as it is your SMS app.othewise you're gonna have to dig it up from an .ftf or download handcent/go sms

Can you recommend me an altrernative App to handle all of these deletes?
I have RootApp Delete, but it shows a lot of extensions and names i sometimes don't get, so i'm nervous of what i may be erasing.

for navigation use copilot live, you can find plenty of apk's lying around the internet, IYKWIM
the rest what i suggested is just crap and no one uses that ****.well, except if you need to check mail, then use gmail

I use system cleanup app to delete blotware

Notifications Wear Style - Reply whatsapp, gmail, ...

<b>This App will send to your Sony Smartwatch 2 these notifications:
- Gmail
- WhatsApp
- Line
- SpotBros
- Viber

- BBM
- WeChat
- Telegram
- Google Now
- Facebook Messenger
and the others you want.
- Swipe UP and Down for changing notification
- Swipe RIGHT to see more notifications pages
- Swipe LEFT to go to left but if it is the first page, the notification will be erased and in your mobile as well.
In some notifications you will see images like whatsapp if the notification image is shown in your mobile too.
In some notifications there are actions, you have to tap on it to execute it.
If the action has options to answer from the smartwatch, the circle background will be Red instead of Blue and when you tap on it a list of answers will be showed.
Tap on any of them to answer the notification.

You can change text size and color of the messages of the Smartwatch at settings menu.
You select the Apps that you want to receive Notifications or not.
You can select the vibrations number for every selected App.

Looks great, thought in the video it seams a bit laggy.
But seams much better then other notification apps atleast in presenting them om the screen
Is it an app you have to launch or can you add it as a watchface for the SW2?
If its an app will it open it up once a notification is recieved?
Does it handel all apps with multiple notifications, example the stock AOSP EMail app?
Will maybe give it a try once i get my new battery for my phone. :good:

Great app but...i can't see any notification....in the allowed / denied notifications i cannot see any app....maybe there is the problem. I enable the app in notification listener and disable others notifications apps...but it doesn't work!

All of them are supported, but only a few by default. The App reads the notifications you see at notification bar.

Stock Galaxy S4 is with Android 4.3. V4.4 is very new for S4 and no many people have upgraded their phone. Upgrade with Samsung is usually a bad idea.

NO, but be sure you run the App in your mobile first and allow it to read your notifications.

Yes I did and I do not have LinkedIn and Twitter notifications (Facebook and gmail ok)

Did you allow them to receive notifications in App?
Only a few apps are supported by default. The rest asking you if you want to receive notifications from them.

[Q] Does this HAM7 have lockscreen notifications built in?

Hey guys, Just wanted to ask a quick question about if the HAM7 has a default built in notification system for the lock screen. I have done many searches on xda and the web and couldn't find any info on this. Anyone care to help me out? Really interested in buying this phone but this was one of the things I was most curious about. I know there are other options like dash clock widget and other 3rd party apps, but I don't even know if widgets are available on the lock screen either! Help me out!

Are you sure we're all talking about the same thing? I think the OP means notifications in the style of the new Lollipop. Not every phone has these, they're not standard in Android up until 4.4 afaik, and have only been introduced for stock Android in 5.0.
Again, I'm not talking about the icons in the status bar, but about banners on the lock screen.

@vonotny - You're exactly right! I didn't get true lock screen notifications until Lollipop on my Nexus 5. The model I do plan on getting is the L09 and I assume this does not have the lockscreen notifications? This is kind of a bummer... does AC Display work?

Okay, now I get it. And you can set lockscreen notifications for WhatsApp and Facebook. But you don't get all notifications on the lockscreen, which is what you'll need something like NILS for.

What is NILS ?

Notifications on lock screen, it's a good app, but imho defeats the purpose of a lock screen if people can read notifications on top of a lock screen. It works well though.

Very handy, especially if you have your lock screen protected and can't swipe down the notification bar. Facebook app do something to stock homepage after close it with back button

I have noticed that when you want to exit from Facebook app from back button you can notice that the home screen do something like zoom or something...
Has anyone notice this? Is there any solution?

I only noticed this when I had a custom wallpaper set. When I use the wallpaper from themes it doesn't do it

Happening to me too.. I'm using Backdrops wallpaper + Nova Launcher.

No it doesn't. You might be talking about something else. Just tried 8 other apps and the Facebook one is the only one that does it.

That's the one I played with the most when I got my S8+ and it didn't work well; crashed on me pretty often and wouldn't take the odd S8+ resolution. That was over a week ago but it seems there was an update since. I guess they fixed it for the S8+. It very works well now and quality is great. I paid for it, I'm glad they fixed whatever there was to fix :good:
Edit: I don't know how you managed to upload it in HD, @Bautinho88, but I've tried with 6 videos on both my phone (Resolution: WQHD+ / YouTube app) and my computer and the best quality I get is 480p60.

Weird that only happens when facebook is a desktop icon. It doesnt do it from the app drawer

I guess YouTube takes some time before showing it in HD. When I first opened your video, all HD options were there. It's now showing all HD options on my videos now. We can get back on topic now :good:

I am having the same issue. I noticed that this only started to happen couple days ago. I didn't experience this issue with the same setup when I got the phone.

Yep the icon being on the home page is the cause - WHY, I don't understand.. it's like the FB icon has some sort of weird properties that a regular icon doesn't have.. kind of creepy tbh.
I've been considering deleting FB for awhile.. may just finally be time.

Facebook updated their app and fixed it, it's not doing it anymore. it's still not fixed.

I have the latest version of Facebook app 2 days ago and it still doing it.. What's your version that stopped doing it?
My version is 123.0.0.18. 71
