[Q] IMEI checking

I've just bought a Galaxy Fame gt-s6810P, I want to check it if it's copy or orginal so I did checked "Download/Recovery Mode" -as mentioned in some threads- and it goes successfully into.
the problem is when I go to check phone IMEI it gives me wrong information give me the brand Alcatel !!!!!:crying::crying:
so is really could be a COPY phone ?
please help me
EDIT:: just added this android animation which appears in the begining of recovery mode and resetting phone ,I don't know it's orginal in new samsung android ?

but can anyone guide me how to know if samsung mobile is copy or orginal ? (any link,any thread)
why could www.imei.info gives wrong information ? could my mobile IMEI be faked ?

Yes it can be.
but if u got ur phone from the samsung original dealer with original warr. card then its ok.no need to panic

Note: Make sure you have a Wi-Fi/internet connection to use this rooting app.
First, download the Root Master.apk here
Install it, look the ROOT大师 icon and open it.
Then tap the blue button, after that you’ll see a green button.
Tap the green button.

When the process is done reboot it manually.
After that download SuperSU app on GooglePlay. Note: You can convert SupeSu to system app
Install File Explorer (Root Explorer) then go to root folder of your phone
Find Kinguser.apk to /system/app/Kinguser.apk then delete it
Congratulations!​Your phone is now rooted, you can download root checker on GooglePlay to check if your device is now totally rooted.​

yes , many users in the Philippines, India, Thailand used this method

Its nice to try.. weird that no one posted a feedback. Rooting this fone is mainly for debloating I think. Habe you sucessfully debloted this with really unnecessary samsung apps that hogs resources?

they dont give feedback because many s duos 2 users are in their specific groups at facebook. their feedback are posted there. rooting s duos 2 can debloat your phone and also by adding tweaks to free up more ram

you can use Greenify to free up your ram

it work for me without probleme
there is no Kinguser.apk in /system/app but irootsu.apk i delete it without probleme

When I install super su the it want to update and when I update it update failure. And also I checked through root checker . It's not root

Just found a way to enjoy all themes with stock icon's, and no root needed!
A lot of themes are almost perfect and missing 1 thing, stock icon's!
All you need is this Galaxy care app.

Does it work for the S7 Edge???
All I get is "app not installed"

I installed Galaxy Care, but it tells me "device not supported" on Snapdragon S7 Edge. Help?

I had the same issue and tried everything. Only thing that would fix the language issue for me was to uninstall and reinstall the gear app.

I was reading the reviews for Gear Manager on the play store and someone else complained that they couldn't change the language. Samsung replied that the default language is determined from the SIM card on the phone. I will try and find the reply and post it here.

Mine is Canadian simcard and it should be English...
