I can't find a valid update firmware file for B360 to extract the recovery.img for Nougat. Does anyone know where I might find that? All I can find are L09 copies everywhere. I can't find any confirmation that these two recoveries are the same or different. Thanks!

I want to install the LH29C185B182 ota on my mate 9 and I tried the dload folder method but it always gives me a fail message. please guys if you know any way to install the OTA zip files kindly inform me. :highfive:
the ota is in the team mt site but not listed yet in the mobile app !

The linked thread cannot install OTA as far as I know.
Firmware finder can only install updates which are approved by Huawei (your imei must be approved, else they fail).
Funky should be able to do both but cost. money to use

On Google play there is an app called Huawei firmware finder
On that there's 2 updates... Don't see full ota files though.
Yes I know that. In no way we can find system.img in them. I wonder how come huawei is not updating the firmware finder with their database. Looks its just intentional and similar to their tantrum when you ask a bootloader unlock code.
Maybe someone has a Stock twrp backup with the system.img for you.

Bro, I assume this is the one I got last night. I restored in TWRP, but after that, there is no sim detected. Now I'm on stock with no sim detected and imei shows null. If I try to flash twrp or custom rom now through fastboot, it says command not allowed. Please help me with getting back a stock working device.

Hello dear friends! Is there a way to flash the oppo find x2 pro using msmdownloadtools? I've got the globar version (CPH2025), and I want to flash the whole device firmware (ofp file). Is there a way to do this, and if there is, where can I find the ofp firmware, because all I can find is the cph2023 ofp file.

Hey, I've tried this and I don't think there is one available. I think each MSNDownloadTool is specific to each device and ofp firmware. Where did you get the OFP file from btw? There was one floating around that was purchased for $10 from ROMDOWNLOADS.COM or something, link to the file is here https://forum.xda-developers.com/find-x2-pro/help/x2-pro-chinese-version-living-eu-t4101395/page3
But I think these sites are selling total rubbish, the one in the above turned out to be not for the X2 Pro at all but I think for the Find X?
Anyway, even if you fo get the correct ofp file I think you need the right version of MSNDownloaderTool with it I've tried lots of hacked versions and none have worked.
Curious, if you have the Global version, why do you want to flash using OFP?
Yes, that's the one I saw, on my current version there is some bloatware that I can't remove using ADB, so I thought that I could get rid of it by flashing the global ofp file. Thanks!

I was looking for a firmware file, for rooting my Huawei tablet with.
But I'm not able to find the corresponding stock build to the one I'm using now.
It seems that Huawei has taken their sites offline which provided all the ROM-files for recovery etc?
I've found an alternative, Huawei Firm Finder, but it seems it does not offer the precise ROM I'm using now on the tablet.
Let's say I'm using 8.0.0.360 now, then the most recent I can find is 8.0.0.328. I'm not sure if I can use an older version for recovery or rooting.
But now I've found out it's also possible to download and recover the tab with the newest firmware when booting it into "Huawei eRecovery".
It seems that, when looking to it's size, it downloads a file of a similar size, after which it runs recovery with it.
But I was wondering if I could obtain this file via this way. If it's downloading a file and recovering from it, it means it has to be stored somewhere. Is it possible to obtain this file?
