You just need to flash universal cf root....
you can find that in development section...

how to flash...
place the .tar file in pda section of odin
start the procedure....
now your phone is rooted and cwm will be present...
the .apk file is for system format converter...
it will convert system memory from rfs to ext4...
don't know much about it but it may improve performance...
and to do so you need to install that apk in phone then chose the conversion method and all... but it ain't necessary to convert system format...its fine if u dont perform this conversion

How do I know which bootchain to download? I have 4.1.2 ,but 2 of the links have 4.1.2.

1. Just download the firmware version you want from the second or third posts and extract the .tar or .tar.md5 file
in the archive and save it somewhere
I have the files ,but they are no in an archive.. should I extract them and make an archive?

I've never been able to get out of download mode without a battery pull. Maybe there's an easy way but I don't know it.

Op did you personaly test it on N 910 C? As untested cwm recovary can brick your phone in back up and restore stage. This was happened with me in my Note 3 at initial stage. So be carefull???
have flashed 910S. no brick, but so far no use - menu is in chinese.

Thanks for the sharing, but if that could be in english.
For anyone who doesn't know how to flash this, I just used flashify. It's free and easy. Extract the recovery.img and flash that file. I can also confirm it's a working recovery on my 910U. It is all in Chinese though, so it doesn't do me a whole lot of good.
Works very well on my N910U.

Just flash it like a normal ROM in Odin, choose file as a PDA part.

yes, thanks, already figured as much.
however, the ultimate goal is to flash unbranded n910c rom onto my skt n910s.
i might be missing something, but i am so far unable to do this neither with cwm, nor with odin.
odin fails at sboot.bin write in NAND and cwm complains about invalid signature, but simply interrupts if the signature check is disabled.
would someone comment / advise, PLEASE?

it did claim to be backwards compatible on chinese forum, i.e. they claimed the S was working on C, so it was worth a try.

Yes I did. But the backup cannot complete once ever.

there are 2 files in the folder where you shared in 4shared.com
but one is n9006 ROM(not3) and other is Tab3
