I was wondering if there was a way to get all the youtube videos when clicked on in opera 9.7 to open in the youtube application. Opera used to open the mobile version of you tube which would link to the youtube application when I chose a link from google, now however, It links to the youtube site and I get the flash error message.
I'm going to flash a new ROM onto my HTC HD2 soon when they get the HSPL sorted, which will hopefully restore this function of opera. However, I was wondering if anyone knew in the mean time how to change this in the settings.
I personally cannot find anything in opera:config.
Also when there are embedded youtube videos in websites is there a way to click on them to get them to open in the youtube application?
I've tried installing flash for opera on my phone. Which I think is what changed this setting. I removed it because it caused problems with Opera crashing.
I've also tried searching for this in google and this site but all I can find is people wanting to do the opposite, open youtube in opera.
Hey guys, IDK if I'm th only one this happend to but after the ICS updated when i click on a youtube link in the broweser, it takes me to youtube mobile instead of opeing the link fromthe youtube app like it used to. Is this a bug? Is there a fix? Can I force the youtube app to open up by default. It's just a pain b/c youtube in the broweser is rediculously slow vs the native app.

Hi,
I use chrome browser to watch YT and also added a shortcut to homescreen for easy access.
Hi everyone!
I'm using an Oneplus 8t. I would like to set vanced youtube as default app. A month ago I found a method:
1. settings->applications->vanced youtube->set as default->open supported links->the application can open the supported links ✓
2. settings->applications->youtube->set as default->open supported links->the application can't open the supported links ✓
Some days ago It started open again with original youtube. I blocked youtube from settings but chrome just don't use youtube instead of it just open as a new page not even ask youtube vanced at least to open it with. Anyone know a good method to solve it?
(Sorry for my bad english)
I was using happily Bromite with adblock on and Blokada for last few years but recently noticed youtube ads showing up. I tried DNS66, Adaway, without success. Newpipe blocks YT ads but I need YT in browser.

YouTube Vanced of course!! It's the ultimate YouTube app. Its built off the stock YouTube app so it's UI is nearly the same but blocks all the ads in YouTube and has many more features not normally available for YouTube that make it this app so dam good. The developers are from right here on XDA. I'll link below to main site. Check it out...

There's an extension for desktop chrome and Firefox called YouTube adblock. Google how to add extension to mobile browsers, and you're set.
I am using a Lenovo Tablet K10 for watching YouTube and I tried several ad-blockers but most of them hardly work and YouTube would force you to go for premium subscription.
