I'm very grateful with all developers and members of XDA because I have learnt of all the possible ways to modify, work through, and customize almost any other device. Unfortunately, there have been many guides and posts in how to fully take advantage of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge under T-Mobile variant but somehow many of those guides don't seem to notice any improvement on either battery life/usage, RAM optimization, and or stability.
The purpose of this GUIDE goes for all of those users that own an S7 EDGE (SM-935T T-Mobile). Besides the main thread made by @psouza4 on how to root, install xposed, and debloat... I want to provide you with the ACTUAL way to setup our device so that we can achieve a successful ROOT, XPOSED, and Performance.

2. Settings Customization BEFORE ROOT
This is what I believe is the MOST IMPORTANT STEP BEFORE DOING ANY WORK TO YOUR DEVICE.
All the features mentioned below ARE FOUND IN SETTINGS!
More Connection Settings > Nearby device scanner [OFF]
Sounds and vibration ->Touch sounds [OFF] ; Screen lock sounds [OFF]
Display > Display scaling [Smaller] ; Screen timeout [15 seconds]
*Also Always On Display [OFF]*
Edge screen > Panel & Feeds [OFF]
Advanced features >Pop-up view & Palm swipe to capture [OFF]
*Direct call & Easy mute [OFF]*
Direct share [OFF]
Lock screen and security > Info and app shortcuts > Dual clock & App shortcuts [OFF]
*Other security settings > Make password visible & Security policy updates [OFF]
Battery > Percentage on status bar [OFF]
About device > Build number (Tap ~8 times) > Enables Developer options
Developer options > OEM Unlock & USB Debugging [ENABLED]
*Windows, Transition & Animator scales [CHANGE TO 0.5x or 0]
3. JUST BEFORE POWERING DOWN YOUR DEVICE, MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL YOUR NORMAL APPS & ROOT APPS BEFORE FLASHING THE ENG_BOOT.
*you can follow @psouza4 guide referred above*
3. Device Setup [Post-Root]
- Open SuperSU > Settings > Enable su during boot & Mount namespace separation [ON]
- I suggest using Titanium Backup to freeze, uninstall and/or clear data/wipe cache. I will provide a list below [ATTACHMENT]
- Use FlashFire to flash the ZIP provided at the end. I modified the updater-script to fully debloat not only user apps but system packages without any issues, overheating, malfunctions. [ATTACHMENT]
- Instead of installing BusyBox Pro by @Stericson, go ahead and FLASH the BusyBox v1.26.zip using FlashFire. Thanks to @YashdSaraf https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224411078
*IF YOU WISH TO INSTALL XPOSED FRAMEWORK, FLASH THE XPOSED V87.1 VERSION [LATEST] using the same xposed_alpha4. Thanks to @wanam https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=37508

If you have any concerns, dont hesitate asking.
Still running. Like I said there is no need for tweaks, build.prop, GovTuner, and none of that BS.

Indeed I hope people check this post out and try this method. If you take a close look there is a slight change in regards to step procedures of what to perform BEFORE and AFTER rooting. The actual change itself is included within the debloater.zip I attached below. This script includes many system apps that PERSONALLY are bloat as well.
People go into installing sEFIx, Amplify, Power Nap & BusyBox. But certainly flashing BusyBox instead, using L-Speed, Kernel Adiutor & Titanium Backup will pretty much do the WHOLE MODIFICATION THAT THIS DEVICES NEEDS FOR ALMOST PERFECT USE!
I would suggest you to try this way or test it IF YOU ARE WILLING TO, but it is just for those of us who are striving to obtain a stable root procedure.

I haven't tested it on a full charge yet so not sure. And like every now n then it's tolerable. Not like stock tho of course

At long last we now have a custom recovery for the LG Esteem, actually make that 2 recoveries, Clockworkmod and Raidzero.
RZR is a Release Candidates and CWM is official and can be installed via ROM Manger.
USB Mass Storage doesnt work!!.
CWM, boot isnt listed in mounts and storage, thus cannot be wiped manually. This is normal for some phones.
RZR, boot is listed but will not mount and wipe manually.
Both zips contain scripts for windows and linux, just download to your pc, unzip, and run the appropriate one for your OS. Both zips are All In One, meaning it will root and install CWM or RZR in one step.
Download zip to your computer
Unzip zip
Connect phone to computer via USB cable
turn on and put into Internet connection mode
run the install script for your OS
Booting into recovery with the button combo is a lil tricky (gonna work on this) vol +- and power from power off, it will boot to the LG Reset screen, press power 3 times, dont freak out, it wont erase your data
, and then recovery will appear. Some ROMs are already in the works n will be ready soon, one including reboot to recovery options in the power menu.
Button Combo: VOL +- and POWER, press power 3x at LG Reset Screen.
App - Quick Boot
App - ROM Manager - no other features will work until CWM is submitted and officially built with RM support by koush.
NOTE: Root now works with either ZVB or ZVC thanks to djrbliss!!! Be sure to show him your appreciation!!!
Now for the goods
LG-Esteem-Revo_AIO.zip - Official CWM build for the Esteem available thru ROM Manager!
NOTE: I will be updating RZR as I get the few issues left fixed, but after that I wont be supporting it due to what all I already have on my plate. It is a nice recovery tho with a ton of features. Not for the novice or complete n00b IMO tho.

Its ok, we got it anyhow
[KERNEL] Plague Overclock Kernel for LG Esteem MS910
no dedicated section yet, so i'll just add this in here
Ok folks, as we know have CWM working I can now post my custom overclocked kernel.
Its build from LG source and modified by myself with assistance from mtmichealson. It has a max oc of 1708Mhz (1.7Ghz) with scaling inbetween and even some lower settings added.
Its been running and very stable @1.7Ghz for all I know who are running it. It has 2 additional governors added, smartass2 and interactive. Smartass2 has been reported to revert back to ondemand or performance. I will correct this in a future build or make sure thats what its suppose to be doing.
I would like to thank our team of testers, they been a great help to me and mt, thanks guys!!!

Download and copy to your sdcard and install with CWM or RZR. No wipes needed. Get SetCPU or similar app to set overclocking.

Upon updating the Kernel. I noticed that the camera's UI has changed/ reverted to a earlier version. In my case its not allowing me to change the Megapixel settings. just giving you a heads up. I suspect this being the kernel because I have 2 Esteems. updated on with the plague. then updated the other phone got the same UI on the camera.
i cant seem to get into recovery after rooting.... am i just too slow?
Disregard that last message, i got recovery working fine and running the Esteemed rom as i type this, first i must say this rom is lightning fast... very stable and responsive. love it and looking forward to more development on this device!!!!

How do I install this?
1.) Download the .zip & copy to phone or sdcard (make sure 4g is enabled if dl'd from phone).
2.) Zip can be installed from either internal or external sd in CWM
3.) MAKE A BACKUP
4.) WIPE DATA!!! (You do not need to wipe if already on GingerSteem!)
5.) Go to install zip from sdcard
6.) Select GingerSteem_Extreme_signed.zip
7.) Do not wipe data after flashing!!!
8.) Reboot!
9.) To Block Carrier Logging Requires Reboot After Initial Boot

ok i solved the issue with i file i found posted on android furums by mtmichaelson 'exitrecovery.zip', was a serious life saver and i beleive that file deserves its own thread lol

its there til another one is flashed. A guy on AF has a stock theme avail tho.
Great ROM! great work throughout. But I'm having some Bluetooth connectivity issues. The phone goes to "force stop" And never connects... I'm assuming your using the same Bluetooth files, so I find it odd that this is happening. should I re flash?

prolly wouldnt hurt. Bluetooth working fine for me.
Just re flashed. I'm getting "the application Settings (process com.Android.settings) had stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
this happens right when I'm trying to pair the phone. Any suggestions?

try running fix permissions in CWM.
Just install this GingerEsteem Rom it and made my day. Was thinking of flashing my Evo 3d to metro pcs cause i thought nobody really cared about this verison andriod phone. Also i have no issue with the bluetooth as of yet. Just flash this 30 mins ago. i be back in a weak from now and keep ya posted on any other defects.

Quadrant Scores are unbelievable. I dont get scores like that with Evo 3D overclock.

I use Paypal becasue it lets ppl donate use their debit and credit cards without having to have a paypal account. I think mt uses paypal because thats what I told him about lol.
I would have to check google checkout to see if indiviual accounts can even be done.

It may be in the last of All application installed. Check it.
Is NFC file transfer is working on this ROM..? Because I tried file transfer with my friend Note2....its not working.

Guys,
I installed Wanam 1.2 last night, phone started OK, configured it, charged overnight, connected this morning to work WiFi (it's a hidden SSID), used it all day without issues.
I just restarted the phone in the afternoon and noticed that my 2 WiFi networks that I had already stored (home & work) have dissapeared. So, I configured the work WiFi (which is hidden and must be added mannually) but it never connects. I already restarted the access point but no luck.
Waiting to arrive home and see if I can connect the phone to home WiFi (which is not hidden), then restart phone and see if it 'remembers' the settings.
Any one else having this issue?

I think the NFC thing has been removed due to FC at start.

Maybe it's not so easy because of nfc payment wants a stock system. Maybe that's why it's FCing. Just my opinion.

So what would be the way to disable the NFC payment but still be able to perform NFC transfers?

I have the rom up and running and very happy with the performance. My exchange policy requieres PIN and I would really like to disable this, I hoped that the "hacked mail" would do that, but I do not see where to disable the PIN issue? Any hints? Our do I need to delete the account and re-install it?
Another question, how do I get into the multi re-boot menu?

Wrong.
NFC Still present in the ROM and works well.
The only thing that was removed it's NFC payment.
Why? the deodexed version did FC's so to avoid any useless FC's, wanam decided to remove this feature that i can bet nobody is using (for now at least)
comming from stock rooted, there's no need to wipe?

Im not going to explain root but you need PinPong Root beta 6 and then you need flash fire.

Since we all are on Verizon network, we do have something called HD Voice.
This can be found under settings -> Advanced Calling.
This feature is necessary for us to have data while on a call.
It seems like I can't activate this feature after installing the Clean ROM.
Was some files related HD Voice (aka Advanced Calling) removed?
Is there anyone having same issue?
any idea why titanium backup can't be installed from the play store?

the activate advanced calling is grayed out because it's already activated... click below where it says advanced calling.... and you should have both check marked. at least mine does....

try and reflash after i flashed i went into the phone's settings and did a factory wipe including my SD card... i just like starting from scratch, but it could help you. I dont think you need a replacement just mess with your settings. if you do it won't just wipe you will have to use vol down and choose factory reset
Sorry to be the only one to ask but I'm in Egypt for the summer and my Internet is really slow so I can't finish the download even using a download manager. Is it possible to get a torrent download of it?

Hmm I am having issues with getting the check boxes and you are on cleanrom correct?
Followed directions on this. Checked MD5 on PC then transfered. Did the flash then wipe. Soft bricked. Something about meta bad=5
Can this be flashed using Odin?

After root noticed that I am unable to encrypt my device when adding exchange. Also noticed the a video pluggin in Chrome no longer works. Possibly a flash like pluggin.

So today, as we know most of MM6.0.1 ROMs (cm13,RR,etc...) And there issue is that there system UI gets laging and lagger until the system UI restarts and same process repeat
So this guide is here to fix this issue
But first :-
Thanks to @webernard for discovering most of the lag fix, rest where discovered by me
Anyways let's start
what apps you will need?
1.kernel auditor (or any kernel managing apps but kernel auditor is recommended)
on some cm13-based ROMs (like RR) kernel auditor is installed by default so if you are running a cm13-based ROM and have kernel auditor installed by default then you can ignore this
2.busybox installer (because kernel auditor works better with busybox, and also xbooster may require busybox)
3.root booster (this app is 100% more OP than clean master)
4.Xbooster(a RAM booster)
(The following apps are optional)
5.greenify
6.amplify (REQUIRES XPOSED!!!)
7.an "system ui restarter" app
8.gamebooster3
Before we start
Make sure you have root access
if you are on cm13-based ROM then you can safely ignore this because in cm-based ROMs we use superSU instead of cmSU
but If you are on cm13 then you must do the following to get root :-
1.go to setting>about phone>press on build number until its says "you're now a developer!" (Ignore this if you already have enabled developer options)
2.now go to developer options>enable root by going to "root access" and make it "apps only" or "apps and ADB"
DONE!
And busybox Installed
how to install busy box :-
1.download and open the busy box installer (that we said earlier)
2.HIT THAT INSTALL BUTTON(don't wait smart install,JUST DO IT)
(Optional)3.REBOOT!!!
NOTICE!!! :-
For RR and CM, you are going to need a special kernel

For MOKEE, you don't need this guide because its not lagging at all (and that's great), but you are completely free to try out the extra steps[emoji4]
now let's start

And make sure in all you made them "apply on boot"
After you are done doing the following
REBOOT!!
3.now, open root booster,
grant it's root access and active the "speed" mode
After you actived the mode, it may ask you to reboot so REBOOT!! (or restart system ui, but rebooting is recommended)
4.open Xbooster(and grant its root access)
now you have 2 options to active
multitasking and gaming, now you going to active depending in your usage
Example: if you are doing some serious gaming or benchmarking the the gaming mode is your choice
If you are running more than 5 apps then, multitasking mode is for you
And also enable the "kill system apps" for more RAM
now after you are done after with all the important steps, now we will do the optional steps (you can ignore it if you want)
1.using greenify(for more RAM and battery life)
1.open greenify and grant its root permission
2.selected ALL apps except themes
3.let greenify to its thing and have a "hibranite now" widget and try to hibreanoite every 15-30 minutes
DONE!
II.blocking 2 battery drainer and RAM eating wakelocks(same reason as greenify's ↑↑↑↑↑↑)
If you are using cm-based ROM then check for "wakelock blocker" feature in them(RR has ) otherwise, USE XPOSED FOR AMPLIFY!!!!
Note:-
If you are going to use amplify then those 2 annoying wakelocks are blocked by default
1.Go to your cm-based ROM setting >wakelocks blocker if it has
2.and turn it on
3.now block those 2 wakelocks:-
*NlpCollocterWakelock
*NlpWakelock
DONE!
III.restart system ui (if you are using themes)
Note:-
The is why I said you are going to need a system ui restarter app, if you using a cm-based ROM (like RR, AICP)make sure they have that "restart system ui" feature
You need to restart your system ui every time you apply a theme because if any further changes happen to the system ui (like apply another theme)
Then restarting system ui is a MUST!!!
Anyways, you are also going to restart the system UI if whenever you reel the Device is lagging, that's all why you need a system UI restarter
IV.changing system animations
this the easiest extra step you can do
1.go to settings>about phone
2.Tap on the build number many times until you will get a toast saying "you are now a developer!"
3.now go back to settings and you will find "developer settings"
4.tap on it and scroll until you see this :-
5.Now, set it as the settings on the picture above
6.Done!
And finally
V.for hardcore gaming
1.Go to Xbooster and set it to "gaming mode"
2.now open Gamebooster 3 and you have 3 modes :-
The "no boost" disable any mode active
The "high boost" boosts your device to a impovered experience
The "ultra boost" is just like "high boost" but improves the gaming experience ALOT(but it will require in app credits)
now this should fix the lag in all MM ROMS
This was tested on :-
RR5.6.2,.3,.4
Octos oct-MM
Cm13
AICP V11.0
VRToxin 3.0
Hopefully this will fix the lag in all MM ROMS

I can honestly say this has reduced a lot of lag from my system, at first no but after a few reboots {activatingmodules} I can feel the difference. Excellent guide.

Most definitely worked!!! I've never seen resurrection ROM fly so fast! I followed each step except I increased the read ahead for phone memory and external storage to 2048kb. It's also showing a increase in speeds on my external SD with these settings, saying I use a 8Gb class 4 SD lol I'm very satisfied

I got sort of stuck in between speed and battery balancing in root booster tho. Im a junky for speed but its always nice to have great battery life on the s4 lol. I hope one day you figure out how to increase both some what equally! Great job btw

Don't worry, the speed mode saves the battery by 10% unlike the default, if you want some more balance then consider buying the "extreme stability" mode, increases speed and saves battery up to 20% and of course stability up to 100%(so your phone becomes very stable), hopefully that will help you [emoji4]

Actually so far I think these settings are great as is. After using for the day my phone has been on go! Playing YouTube videos, music and games like NFS most wanted. I started at 90% around 6 am this morning and now I'm just hitting 66%! That's awesome. It got me through my day when I usually had to charge every 2-3 hours

Sorry, I can't help you with that, also this is the galaxy s4 sub-froum so you are in the wrong place, what you need to go is the moto g2 sub-froums
So look for your device's sub-froum in the sub-froum list and STICK WITH IT!! to avoid problems like flashing a ROM made for an another device or opening a ROM thread in the wrong sub-froum

You downloaded the wrong Xposed for your Android version... Just download the right version & it will work

Just got a T860 and I'd used your Weta ROM on my S9+ until you quit updating it. Best ROM I'd ever used. With this ROM being on a Snapdragon, I want to be absolutely sure that I don't screw up rooting it, etc. obviously. Is there anything different that I need to be aware of other than what's in your notes? A key for me will be if you plan at this point to update it at least once a month and when Android 10 hits. As with the S9+ I'll make a donation but know in the long run it would be a drop in the bucket.

I'll be updating until the tab s7 is in my hands..
It's not a full rom as such, but a magisk module. Regardless of being snapdragon or exynos Samsung device, the rooting methods are the same, it's just the yearly iterations of devices change a lot as Samsung tries to squirm it's way around being a treble device.
Do you have any plans on adding customization options for quick settings, notifications, status bar and so on?

I'm not sure what you mean. But I don't do full system roms anymore, just magisk roms. There is no point in 2-3gb of system files in a rom. I see the merit for upgrading firmware but Odin does that spectacularly, and then simply overlaying the modified files over a stock system.

I am asking this because i have a variant of Tab S6 (SM-T867) which has 4G but no phone call feature. I think it is probably a software restriction. I want to flash a SM-T865 Rom via TWRP to see if i can enable the feature or not.

Every firmware has the calling and messaging apps in it. It'll be the csc that is r probably restricting things.

Is it possible for ya to make a way for us on Verizon and other carriers to get the phone and messages apps back? I got the 4g version to not have to rely on tethering to my phone but I feel shafted that I lost features.
